Lunch today was excellent. Always nice to see the owner interested in welcoming patrons. The spicy shrimp tacos and the scallop burger received rave reviews.......quality product served with a very fresh salad. Those who ordered coffee said it was excellent. We will be back.

Fresh and crispy in all the tight places

While the wait for food was inexplicably long, the staff was friendly, a performer was singing on the patio and the food was excellent, right down to the bun for the lobster roll. Fresh, crisp salads. Tried other area restaurants and came back here because it was plainly, superior food.

Our New Fav Spot

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining in for supper and needless to say we were back the next day for lunch. The staff are wonderful and made us feel like family, the food is so fresh I crave it to this day. A lot of the time we get so use to “fast food” and “microwave” pub food it’s just expected to taste a certain way but this place takes it to a next level with quality ingredients you can taste. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Food, price, staff and cleanliness are a 5 star!! Thank you MP

Waste if Money!!

Went here during a recent vacation because it was rated #1 on Trip Advisor. It was so noisy that in order for the four of us, sitting at a table together, to talk we had to yell at each other. Horrible acoustics! I ordered a seafood pasta, after only a few bites I had to throw in the towel. I just REALLY didn't like it and couldn't stomach eating anymore (not their fault, it just wasn'tfor me). When the waitress came to ask how things were I told her that unfortunately I couldn't eat my meal because I didn't like the taste of it, at all. She said she would see what she could do. When she came back the solution they offered was a box so I could take it home in case someone else in my family might like to eat it. Umm, that's not a solution, that's called taking what you can't eat home, which people already do all the time. The other people in my group tried my pasta and no one else could stomach it either, so needless to say it didn't come home with me. I thought maybe they would take some money off since the meal was essentially uneaten. Nope! The three other people in our group said their food was ok, but nothing to get excited about. So we paid $80 for one meal that went uneaten, three meals that were just ok, and a noisy atmosphere. WASTE OF MONEY!!

Incredible Experience

We got to enjoy opening night and we were not disappointed!! Started off with a Day at the Beach (drink), YUM! Appetizer was bacon wrapped scallops & finished off with fish tacos and sweet potato fries!! All was delicious. I will be back again very soon! Thank you for the great service and the delicious meal. The atmosphere was very welcoming as well!

Good food and friendly service

Recently had supper here and sat out on the patio which is sunny and spacious. All table could use an umbrella as the afternoon sun hit the patio directly. All the food we ordered was really good: seafood platter, seafood pasta, coconut shrimp. Gave four stars as it took a really long time for our food to come. But hey, it’s been a difficult year in the service industry so happy to be a little extra patient these days. Friendly service to boot!

Amazing Food and Service

Just had a wonderful meal with my parents at "The Ships Company Pub and Galley". Food is all fresh and local very very tasty and excellent service Restaurant is very clean and well run...Friendly staff and ice cold beer...Will be back again and again...well done. Highly recommend the salt and pepper wings, fresh fish and chips and the best sweet potato fries we've ever head.

Amazing food and service!

We have been to this restaurant a few times in the last 2 summers, hats off the best around. We are foodies and love to check out different restaurants, but this place always draws us back. It’s family friendly but also perfect for a date night. Their fish (haddock) is by far the best in the maritimes! The batter is perfectly fried and no wet left inside. No grease dripping! Seafood pasta and pizza to die for! Oh and don’t even get me started on the chowder 😮 The burgers are amazing too. Try a ceaser and ask for the bacon wrapped scallop on top, who would have thought that these things go so well together. Island entertainment on the patio Saturday evenings will not disappoint! And the staff are amazing.

Take This With a Grain of Salt

Ok, everybody should eat here. The food was really, really good. Our service was an absolute tire fire though. Watching other servers, our experience seemed out of the norm. We ordered 2x kids meals and 3x mains for our group of 5. We ordered 3x grown-up drinks and 2x kids drinks. We ordered 2x appetizers. The drinks did not come out very quickly, about 10mins. Then we didn’t see our waitress for another 45 minutes. While our mains were being delivered by a different server, she came out to see how we were making out. We informed her that we didn’t get our appetizers and her response was “Gee, I’m not sure how that happened.” We explained we didn’t want them anymore and suggested they be taken off of the bill. She said she’d check. Safe to say that’s not how it works.

fish tacos

On my own for supper and decided to get fish tacos from Ship’s Company. Oh my goodness! Absolutely delicious! Very flavourful and beautifully presented. The fish was cooked to perfection and the slight punch of heat from the salsa mixed with the crisp veggies, was a hit with me! The garden salad on the side was gorgeous! Packed with colourful fruit, veggies and nuts, this could have been a satisfying meal on its own. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere clean and inviting. I will certainly be returning to try more off their scrumptious looking menu.

Great Lunch and Incredible Service

We were here for late lunch on the 30th, and were lucky enough to get Annick as our server. Awesome! She had to deal with a million questions from our table on Drinks and food. Incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make sure it was a great experience. The food was very good, recommend Donair Nachos, Veggie Nachos with Chicken, and Fish & Chips. Really can’t say enough about Annick, she made the visit.

Very cute spot with dining room and a patio. Our server, Cameron was amazing. So friendly and asked us about our travels. He gave us advice on taking the ferry or the bridge back to travel home. This establishment should feel very lucky to have such a kind and genuine soul working for you. :) We got a beer, cider, and the fish and chips and unfortunately our beer was bottom of the keg and was flat and our fish and chips was soggy and greasy. With the signage at the front of the store saying it was the best fish and chips in PEI and many reviews saying it was great, we expected better.

Best spot in Cavendish!

We’ve eaten there many times and never walk away disappointed. The staff are young and energetic and ready to help in any way they can. The food is awesome - I suggest ordering some of the Thai chicken bites to take home for later, they make great leftovers. The atmosphere is family friendly, bright and clean. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’m sad they’re only open seasonally.

Food was delicious and our server, Kaley was pleasant and knowledgeable. Clean and friendly atmosphere on sunset deck. Best fish & chips to date, Bacon wrap scallops with a seasoned house mayo was a big hit with family as was the donair nachos. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend

Great food.

My family and I ate at this location July 2022 and it was awesome. We each tried something different. I had the lobster roll and fries, my mother had the doughnut holes with cinnamon, they had a unique name but I can't remember, my brother had the scallops, and my aunt the fish sandwich platter. It was awesome. Loved every bite, definitely will be back for some more.
