The Hotel, has a great location.
Beds are confortable and all super clean
The receptionists are amazing specially Christian and the girls.
Downside:
Wifi is horrible, the access card demagnitsed super fast.
If you want wifi in your room they charge you extra, and the buffet breakfast is overpriced
I was going to give 2 stars but the receptionists really helped me when I needed them.

Great location if your visiting Barcelona ..10 minute stroll to the beautiful beach and a five minute walk to the metro and 5 stops down the line and your in the centre of the city.. The staff are really helpful and friendly .. Thank you for a great stay will definitely recommend you to any one planning a visit to Barcelona

Great stay!
I’ve been in Travelodge Poblenou with some friends and I must say this hotel has a really great ubication. Walking to the beach is about 5 minutes and with the subway you’re able to be anywhere so fast! The hotel is nice, there is no hairdryer in the room but you can ask for it at the front desk. Good rate, I recommend it if you come to BCN.

AVOID!! Currently staying here and we are tormented nightly by the huge groups of teenagers that are booked in each night. Every night they scream and shout in chorus outside your door, when they are not doing that they are chapping your door when you are trying to sleep and yelling for you to open. If you do manage to sleep through that ( we had to put earphones in) then you will be awakened by the building works outside at 7.30 am. That's night - you won't get any sleep at this Travelodge. It is hideous. We stayed for five nights and we were hugely ripped off - five nights of no sleep, unparalleled noise from groups of school children and construction noise and zero hospitality / customer service. Do yourself a favour and swerve this if you come in holiday to get any form of rest.

With regard to groups, when a disturbance occurs and is brought to our attention, we will act immediately, if necessary evicting people who do not respect the hotel's rules. In this case, we are not aware that you contacted the Reception team. 88 € per night don't buy you Wifi, that's an extra! No matter how you look at it, it is a rip off. In any pension wifi is included and the room would be similar or better. Not even a closet... This hotel is for people looking for a youth hostel level of service and willing to pay for Wifi, with a youth hostel would provide for free.

El WIFI es de pago en las habitaciones, y tiene un precio de 3,90€ pudiendo conectar hasta 3 dispositivos en banda ancha. Good price, clean rooms but no closet in the rooms.
Clean bathroom and quite area.
When we arrived there was a bad smell in the corridors and the floor was covered with white sheets.
Wifi is a paid service and the staff agreed ti take our bags on our last day while we were exploring

Good location. The room was fairly basic - no telephone, fridge/mini bar, safe - but cleaned daily. Airconditioning just about adequate. Soap dispenser in the shower was not refilled when empty. Pleasant and helpful staff. Overpriced for what it was.

I have travelled the world, visiting 102 different countries. I say this, not to boast, and only to explain I have had a lot of hotel ‘experiences’ on my travels.
I have also experienced various Travel Lodges in various countries so when I say that my experience of the Travel Lodge in Poblenou, Barcelona, has been the very best ever.
During this crazy Covid time, it is not always easy for people to stay positive, helpful and, most importantly JOYFUL!
The service from every single staff I met has been a joyous experience. Ignacio, Jane and Jorge have been so kind with me and I wish to thank them publicly. It is important to know what a difference your attitude makes in an insane world.
The room was perfectly spotless and had wonderful internet. The breakfast in the reception area was nourishing with lots of choice and these three staff were so accommodating.
My wife and I will be returning to Barcelona to do more of our teaching and we will always choose Travel Lodge, Poblenou as our preferred hotel. Thank you to everyone. Muchas gracias y espero volver a verte pronto! 🙏

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. The rooms were small and cramped and the AC was useless. It was 25° in our room at least and that’s after they “fixed” the AC.
The staff were rude and our room key stopped working five times and we had to keep returning from the ninth floor to the lobby to have it reset.
We actually had to sit in the lobby to answer emails because the Wi-Fi which we paid extra for didn’t work. Also, the lobby was a lot cooler than the room. Breakfast was pretty basic. A member of our group was asked to return an apple to the basket in the restaurant, because of a rule that said you couldn’t take food out of the restaurant. It was pretty embarrassing to be honest, because we paid a lot of money to stay in the hotel. We ended up leaving a day early and moved to another hotel rather than staying there another night.

No, this hotel doesn’t provide a mini fridge it’s rooms
Turn right out of the hotel and the first road you come to is a 'Ramblas' so it's a street full of shops, cafes, restaurants etc
