Felt like a couple of skid shacks pulled together on the prairies in the middle of nowhere. With the added ambiance of an unusual smell of mold. Some what clean but super creepy. Certainly not somewhere I’d stay with out my husband. No coffee super uncomfortable beds.
Just keep on driving.

Good thing I brought my Lysol wipes

My family stayed here for three nights as we are in town for a baseball tournament. I was told that we had one of the upgraded rooms (when it was upgraded I’m not too sure, maybe early 90’s? )When we walked in there was an awful smell of someone cooking food in the hallway, We tried to ignore the smell and continued into our room only to be greeted with dust, dirt & stale air. It took me 45 minutes to clean the main surfaces we would be touching with the Lysol wipes I brought. Although the bed linens seemed clean, and the bathroom toilet, sink & shower seemed fairly clean. The rest of the place was filthy. The bathroom counter was falling apart & between the shower had dirt and spider webs. Normally I would have walked out, but we were stuck. Once I did my basic cleaning and we were in the room for a bit, we looked at it as though we were camping. After that it didn’t seem too bad, if you kept your shoes on. Although we chose to go home early instead of staying the extra night we paid for. It seemed as though it may have been a family owned and run business, they were quite friendly, and even gave us a discount for leaving a day early (without us asking for one). I don’t know how busy of a place it is, but they should make sure the rooms are cleaned better before having people stay there. We did not check out the free breakfast, since it was in the main office area, which did not seem very clean. We didn’t even attempt it. We know it is a small town & didn’t expect the Hilton, we just wanted somewhere clean to sleep.
