We enjoyed a great three-day stay here in September - very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable well maintained and equipped rooms and centrally located. The breakfast was excellent too with plenty of choice and great coffee. A fine base for sightseeing in Barcelona.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it definitely rates as one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Barcelona. The hotel was exceptionally clean and - unusually for Barcelona - the clever room design with an interior door means you can sleep noise free! The hotel is very well located, right next to Arc d’Triumph and a short work from the central shopping area. The rooftop pool bar area is also an excellent addition in the city and a nice space to unwind in before heading out in the evening. Room service was great.
The only downside was the pillows - extremely uncomfortable, and the check out service was very poor. But the service was great the rest of the time.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. From arrival to checking out I can’t say a bad word about them! They have been so accommodating throughout our stay including a small birthday cake, card and balloons for my fiancé (this mini break was for her birthday).
The room we stayed in (118) was huge and on two levels. I’m not sure if we were upgraded but it was lovely and a great view too!
Aircon was great, even the small touches such as speakers in the ceiling that played the local radio were brilliant.
The rooftop pool and bar was excellent and so quiet all throughout the day.
The only thing I would avoid is the breakfast, at €24.90 per person. We didn’t actually see what was on offer but personally I think it is a little expensive.
All in all a great place to stay that’s close to the city. We will not hesitate to stay here again if we return to the beautiful Barcelona!

Great stay in Barcelona at NH Podium! Hotel was clean and in pretty good condition overall. It suited our needs this time as we travelled as a family. I liked that the sleeping area was separate from the bathroom. Plenty of space. Location was quiet and felt safe- great access to Arc Di Triumph. Cafe 365 around the corner had great pastries and the Mercadona grocer just a block away had plenty of food options. If you walk a little further you are right in the hustle and bustle of Barca. Staff was great at the hotel - helpful with all our needs- contacting airline, arranging departure PCR tests at the nearby lab etc. Cons: Some of the hotel guests however ignored the indoor mask policy for Covid 19 in the hallways and made us uncomfortable during our stay. Regardless of your stance on masking, be respectful to others when you are sharing a space. This includes barging into micro elevators with other guests, again without a mask. I had to get off the elevator because I was so uncomfortable. It’s not rocket science. People are quick to let their guards down on vacation and it was frustrating at times. Despite all of this, it was still a great stay and we would likely choose it again in the future! Thanks Podium!

Great place and very kind staff. Close to Arc de Triomphe, El Born and the Ramblas. We did almost everything by feet, but the bus station and metro station are quite close, only a few minutes walk. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as there are so much nice cafees in this area and breakbeat in the hotel is relatively expensive.

Nice welcome to a hotel which is handily placed for access to metro lines and some of Barcelona's attractions. Unfortunately the great welcome was not replicated through the rest of the stay with a sense of feeling that guests were an inconvenience to hotel staff.
Room was ok, did the job and bed was comfortable.
Plenty for breakfast, although lacking in hot options readily available (you have to ask for hot breakfast, and some of the staff didn't seem to be overly approachable).
Had a meal in the restaurant which was rather disappointing for the quality of hotel and the cost of the meal itself.
Massive bugbear was that we were told for additional coffee, tea and milk for the room you had to pay a 1 euro charge for each item (first time have ever had this in a hotel). Presumably this is because of the coffee capsules, but as this is the only coffee that was offered in the room (no instant sachets) it's a complete con. On checking out we queried this again and was told you get three a day for free if you have the room serviced daily, although as you are encouraged not to, to help reduce 'environmental impact' with the offer of a free bar drink, how are you supposed to get additional coffee etc for the room when you are told you have to pay for each item.
Although the costs are minor, guests don't like being used as a cash cow.
A disappointing experience. Such a shame, could be such a great hotel.

Let me preface my remarks that we are a septuagenarian couple who have traveled extensively to Europe for over 30 years. This trip was our high school senior grandson’s which allows us a week of one-on-one time with him.
We booked our trip through Costco Travel; our first time to do so. The trip included flights to Madrid, Spain, a high speed train to Barcelona, and the flight back to the US with hotel and transfer to and from the airport. In addition via Tripadvisor/Viator we booked some excursions: HoponHopoff bus in Madrid and Avila and Segopvia, the Prada Museum and Royal Palace; and Montserrat and Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
We stayed at the NH Collection Podium, again a very nice hotel and location. The next day we strolled Las Ramblas in the misty rain; but later as we walked the Rambla de Catalunya and the Gothic Quarter it began to rain hard! By the time we arrived back at the hotel we were soaked! Fortunately we had our luggage and was able to change. We met that evening with a pastor friend and had dinner and attended his church. It was a great way to spend an evening.

Room was big clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was OK with plenty variety of food. Central location on a quiet street near Arc de Triumph and Catalonia Plaza metro stations.
Balcony was very small, just to stay on your feet. Wi-Fi poor and get disconnected every hour with speeds between 20 kb/s and 500 kb/s. TV channels only in Spanish and just 2 international news channels. At breakfast for omletes you need to make a special request to waiters. At check in they blocked the entire amount of our stay + 100 euro "other expenses"!!! What expenses we just checked in?!? Staff did not say hello or good morning If I didn't said to them first every single day. Overall I find this hotel overpriced for what it offers and staff need to be more friendly!

Lovely hotel in a quiet street not far from the main area of Barcelona. Huge clean room, we went up to the rooftop one night but didn’t sit up there for long as was a bit chilly (in January) but can imagine it is lovely in the spring/summer. We had breakfast once, It was a bit pricey but standard for that sort of hotel & there was a huge choice if you like that sort of thing. Staff were all friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was nice and not too big - nice staff at the reception
Rooms (to put it as it is) were boring and VERY unpersonal - everything was fine and well kept, however in monotone colours and withous anything to give it less resemblance of a shoe box.
Roof top bar was immensely pricey and both bartender and products were disappointingly bland. The noice from the hidden loudspeakers at the same time were ennerving.
Breakfast was really, really good with a large variety of products and fresh produce - this was something I looked forward to every morning I woke up.

Hi sorry I can't help as I don't smoke.
No it does not.
I have never stayed in the Hotel De Condes but the NH Barcelona is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is near the metro and within easy walking distance of the Rambla. The breakfast is very nice and there is a roof terrace once the weather permits.
