Write a reviewSuite was very nice. Step down to the bedroom from the office area. Door separating those from the large bathroom - including a separate door to the shower and toilet. (Fabulous rain shower). Great location in a quiet neighbourhood but close to many sites - 5-10 min walk to Arc de Triomf, 10-15 min walk to El Borne (bustling/happening area of pedestrian friendly winding cobblestone streets filled with restaurants, bars, shops, squares), 10-15 minute walk to the El Born Cultural Centre (free - worth a visit - excavations of an old city below), 10-15 min walk to Las Ramblas, etc! Staff were fantastic, especially the concierge named Marina - so helpful and full of good suggestions for dinner (She also emailed us suggestions for other cities, upon my husband's request - so sweet!). We would definitely stay here again👍

Wow – Where to start with this hotel! Let’s just say it was excellent from beginning to end.
It was great service from the moment we arrived when the concierge offered us an umbrella when unloading the luggage in the pouring rain to a great check-in from Marc at the Front Desk (Note: A big ‘thank you’ to Marc for checking us in slightly early and his excellent advice for getting around the city). Excellent service also from the bar staff at the rooftop pool area; housekeeping staff and the night staff working on the Reception.
The hotel is located in a quieter area of this busy city and is just around the corner from the Arc de Triomf, 5 minutes from the Urquinaona Metro station (L1 + L4) or Arc de Triomf Metro station (L1) and 15-20 minutes’ walk from La Rambla. There are supermarkets and cashpoints / ATM’s just around the corner.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained with a fully stocked mini bar; excellent range of bathroom amenities and well stocked tea / coffee tray with a Nespresso coffee machine.
The absolute highlight is the rooftop terrace and pool. Great for a swim after a long hot day or having a few drinks in the evening. The pool is open from 10.00am to 10.00pm in summer and later for evening drinks at the rooftop bar.
A great hotel to stay at in Barcelona.

The employees at this hotel never smile. You're not welcomed. Not a very good experience compared to other NH Collection where we stayed. Breakfast was good. Nice terrace. The concierge was not helpful.

My sister and I stayed here for 6 nights recently. We found the hotel to be very centrally located. It is a couple blocks from the Arc de Triumph and walking distance to La Rambla. The highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. Hugo is the best concierge ever. He checked on us consistently, brought us little snacks, booked appointments for us, helped us with sightseeing planning, and much more. He gave us a lot of personal attention which we really appreciated.

I honestly can't fault this hotel. We stayed 3 nights with my 80 year old mother, 17 year old son and 14 year old daughter and it worked brilliantly for all ages. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful, nothing was too much trouble and made our stay there an absolute joy. The rooms were spacious and very well appointed. Perhaps the only small complaint if I had to find one was that if you have a corner room they are bit cramped and if you have the window open it is difficult to reach one side of the bed, particularly with a side table in the way. The other two rooms we had were outstanding. Lovely touch was having coffee and tea making facilities and water bottles replaced every day. My son turned 17 while we were there and they left balloons and cakes in his room!
We opted for breakfast in the hotel and it was superb. Probably the best I have had anywhere and a lovely dining room too. I am gluten free and there were lots of options.
They had an excellent concierge called Hugo who helped us book restaurants and trips and contacted us via WhatsApp to confirm or make changes. Again, nothing was too much trouble.
A lovely touch as you walked in the door was a refreshment table with cold drinks infused with lemon, mint etc.
We ordered food twice and again, this was exceptional.
The rooftop pool was beautiful and I just wish we had had more time to enjoy it!
We will be back for sure!

Perhaps ask not to be in a corner...
