I didn’t know what to expect from this hotel. It is not a resort. They have a very tiny front desk area. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room is decent for an older style place. The room appeared to be clean and someone took some time to arrange it nicely, the bathroom was super small I didn’t like the towels being placed right next to the sink as the towels get wet and it’s not very hygienic. They should put the towels in the closet on a clean liner or invest in an inexpensive towel rack. The TV was very small, but acceptable the bed was a bit hard for my taste, but OK. This place is fine for an economy stay.

Spent two nights at this property in November. It was recommended by a friend who used to live in the neighborhood.
I didn't make a reservation, just walked in (weekdays) and paid just over $100 including taxes. This appears to be the going rate these days.
The property, which can be best described as a motel, is a pretty typical south Florida property. The air-conditioning, hot water, refrigerator all worked fine. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Perfectly fine for budget travelers.
I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
Would stay here again for sure.

This hotel is not ideal but not expensive- not bad if on a budget. You will have to walk up to light, across the street and through buildings to get to the beach. It’s walking distance to Ft L by the Sea which has a lot of restaurants bars and nightlife and just south is a great Tiki Bar on the beach at a popular hotel. It is also a mile or so from The popular Shooters restaurant in Ft L. The bar downstairs stays open late and plays loud music till midnight - can be fun if you’re a night owl. The room was clean but the bed was oh so lumpy but there was a lot of pillows! Breakfast is basic but decent. Beach towels avail but hard to get. Beach chairs were few and old. The people staying there were the most friendly so that was nice. It’s a very safe area but I did see one homeless person who seemed harmless. The beach was very nice and was just happy to be away from the cold.

My friends and I were between this place and another for spring break and made that clear when we were on the phone. This place offered us an amazing deal offering to bump us up to deluxe rooms for the standard price so we chose here. Terrible mistake. We were told as soon as we got there by the lady at the front desk that we were not allowed to drink in our rooms or outside the rooms. We were not allowed to use the tiki bar (included in amenities of the resort). We were also made to pay an extra $100 “spring-breakers fee” each which was no where in writing. After all of this we got the keys to our room only to find that out of the four rooms we had booked only one was deluxe as promised for the price we paid. We went back to the front desk and explained that we respected the hotel but were sold under false pretenses as the website says anyone over 21 can reserve rooms (we were all 21/22 and ID’d to verify this by the woman) and would be happy to leave the hotel and find another place in a pinch (even though we had this place reserved since thanksgiving) if we received our money back. Luckily, she gave us all of our money back but the initial deposit back for the first night, even though we didn’t stay more than the time it took us to leave and find another place to stay (less than 30 mins). The icing on the cake was when we were returning our keys and she was turned around on the phone with upper management explaining “I don’t understand why they all left, I begged them to stay but they would not”.

Room had mold. Couldn’t see it. Could smell it. Our eyes were burning from the cheap air freshener they doused the room in. Room appears clean but I know mold is there
Pictures make the property look different. Paint is peeling. Pool is small. Right on super busy road.
Just don’t stay here. You have been warned. Or you may end up in the emergency room. Oh and cat next door

The room smells bad. I asked for housekeeping, and I was told that they already left for the day. Breakfast is a cold bagel with orange juice. The beach public entrance is far away. I was very disappointed.

Checked in after driving 12 hours. They put us in a unit that had no usable balcony. The only one that I can see like it in the whole complex. Signs everywhere saying keep off. When you step out onto the balcony there is a cement wall facing you. No daylight. An he seen. Asked to please find us any other unit available and they said they don’t do upgrades? I wouldn’t consider this an upgrade but rather a safe unit with outdoor space. Sad….very sad!!!

Beautifully landscaped patio and pool area with mature plants and foliage and some actual shade. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a short walk to Lauderdale-by-the-sea. The rooms were clean and comfortable but some fixtures are showing their age. Good value for the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Honestly for the price this hotel was just fine. I was paying more at another hotel that was not as good as this one and it was in a bad neighborhood. The Ft Lauderdale Beach hotel has clean spacious rooms and includes a fridge and microwave. Yes paid for parking but was only 9 bucks. I had noisy neighbors so that was my only complaint. Overall place is fine for a budget hotel. Great restaurants are also within walking distance from here.

Very nice staff very ghetto hotel. This hotel is at most a 2 star. It is old, run down but clean. I purchased the reservation on Hotwire and the description said “beach front.” This hotel is not beach front. Lots of noise at night on one end of the hotel. So if you decide to stay here ask for a room as far away from the pool as you can get.

The hotel is approximately 15 minutes drive from the airport. Across the street from the hotel are the hotels that have private beaches so access its a simple 5 minute walk. We stayed at the Ocean Manor before and actually walked from Ft.Lauderdale Inn to Ocean Manor to gain their beach access for umbrella/chair rental and Tiki bar! Its not like they card you to make sure you are a guest! Beach access from Ft.Lauderdale Inn is to walk across the street and turn left, continue walking until the end of hotels and turn right to the beach access opening. Very convenient hotel!!
There is no shuttle service. Only large name hotels offer services like that. This hotel is a mom and pop operation. I would advise to just take a taxi from the airport if you plan to stay nearby the hotel. If you would like to travel your best bet is to rent a economy or compact car. I rented one from Priceline when I went for only 19 dollars a day for a compact. After tax and insurance it cost me somewhere around 30 bucks. Well worth it. Many of lauderdale a attractions you need to drive
