Hospitality at its worst.
Overall a wonderful visit, with just one suggestion to better the maintenance work inside the room and within the property as well.
They have started reinstating the charm but will take some more time to restore this charm.
They have opened up two restaurants - Woodpecker (all day dining) and Lake Side (BBQ and Appetizers).
Most of the facilities are non operational at this stage due to restrictions being placed as a result of pandemic situation.
Staff is very assistive, courteous and ready to help but expect a delay due to less staff at this stage. (special Thanks to Yogesh at Woodpecker and Manoj - housekeeping supervisor)

We were 3 families who had taken 4 Spanish cottages for two nights for our annual western ghats monsoon weekend holidays.
Dirty linen, dirty common bathrooms, highly delayed housekeeping cleaning services, mandatory 10-15 min walks to breakfast restaurant in the middle of heavy rains, miscommunication of breakfast timings, 90% repeated breakfast menu, electric maintenance issues …unending disappointments, unfortunately. Most staff seemed clueless on customer satisfaction, lots of staff seemed temporary, and management seemed to have no control on staff or their availability. Amazingly, when it came to checkout, abundant staff and follow ups suddenly seemed to become available to the management. We are sensitive about service expectations at a touted luxury property, and so our experience became very damaged.
What was delightful in the property - decent rooms, nature, misty views of the valley, vista points, and good experiences at gaming arcade, swimming pool, restaurants.
Aamby valley has such hype to create starry eyed expectations. The big value is just to tell others you’ve been there, but beyond that whether the money you shell out is competitive value - is something to be considered . Be prepared for the hidden rude experience of what a luxury vision destination can become when passion and dedication seem to be completely absent in the way the property is managed and serviced.
Special Recommendation # Aussie room & Spanish Cottage , Lavish buffet breakfast at Woodpecker restaurant , Namak & LFC cafe in the Evening for Hookah Lounge and many drinks.
All the very best to Aamby Valley City for the great creation for sure worlds best hill city. We will very keen to visit soon ......keep it up entire team 👍
And the best part they have diverted the number to some operation manager who everytime takes the details and inform us that we will get call back from the concern person but still We haven’t received any calls from them. While doing the booking they will call us several time just like as if we have taken loan from them but during the of refund all of them disappeared. Is this the way hospitality industry is been run wanna ask a simple question and that too during this pandemic when you require guest to come in instead of maintaining the relationship you people are creating bad name in the market.
Later finally after so much calls and follow up we get a mail back from this lady stating you would receive the refund on 15 April and today is 16 April and we are still waiting for the refund. These people don’t have a courtesy even to call and check wether we have received the money or no. People please do not book here worst ever experience in booking the rooms.
The Service was very fast as I we asked for bed making and they came quickly in spite of busy chaos .
They were giving answers of my questions with great patience and answers were accurate like the difference between Vip rooms and Normal Rooms , the proper information about Moisturiser Machine , the information about breakfast , etc .
Their housekeeping service was great . In the busy chaos they were providing whatever we asked ( for towels , body lotions , napkins, etc . ) .
The taste of food of room service was also good .
