Aamby Valley City hotel garners applause for its serene, nature-imbued location and inviting atmosphere, with guests often remarking on the scenic views and spacious rooms. While the diverse dining options and array of activities are well-received, reviewers caution that service can lag, and maintenance might not always meet expectations. Despite the cleanliness and room comfort praised by many, some travelers feel the costs are steep, with the hotel's value for money coming into question.

Worst experience ever. Will never advice anyone. They should be rated 1* and infact request people to stay for free. Yet I wouldn't advice no one to take it. Horrible.
Over priced
Sub standard
Terrible service
No customer service
Hospitality at its worst.

We had booked two Australian cottages and were a family of 5 adults. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms were spacious and we had the entire villa to ourselves. The property has a lot to offer for people coming for the first time. Various activities depending on the season are on offer, at an additional cost. Horse riding, waterfall safari, fountain show to name a few. There is a small shop inside the premise near mabruk hotel where we had jalebis and vada pav in the evening. The buffet layout is decent however non vegetarians might not be amused as not much for them is seen.

Overall a wonderful visit, with just one suggestion to better the maintenance work inside the room and within the property as well.

Obviously I compared this trip with my last one few years back and I strongly felt that they have a long way to go. Property still looks good but not fabulous at this stage. Restrictions due to court order and then lockdown due to pandemic has made this property looks dull.

They have started reinstating the charm but will take some more time to restore this charm.

They have opened up two restaurants - Woodpecker (all day dining) and Lake Side (BBQ and Appetizers).

Most of the facilities are non operational at this stage due to restrictions being placed as a result of pandemic situation.

Staff is very assistive, courteous and ready to help but expect a delay due to less staff at this stage. (special Thanks to Yogesh at Woodpecker and Manoj - housekeeping supervisor)

The Wow factor was missing this time!

Stay was peaceful as wanted a break from hectic work schedule.

Rundown infrastructure, Rundown Checkin experience, Rundown breakfast quality and restaurant, and most importantly very rundown service experience.

We were 3 families who had taken 4 Spanish cottages for two nights for our annual western ghats monsoon weekend holidays.

Dirty linen, dirty common bathrooms, highly delayed housekeeping cleaning services, mandatory 10-15 min walks to breakfast restaurant in the middle of heavy rains, miscommunication of breakfast timings, 90% repeated breakfast menu, electric maintenance issues …unending disappointments, unfortunately. Most staff seemed clueless on customer satisfaction, lots of staff seemed temporary, and management seemed to have no control on staff or their availability. Amazingly, when it came to checkout, abundant staff and follow ups suddenly seemed to become available to the management. We are sensitive about service expectations at a touted luxury property, and so our experience became very damaged.

What was delightful in the property - decent rooms, nature, misty views of the valley, vista points, and good experiences at gaming arcade, swimming pool, restaurants.

Aamby valley has such hype to create starry eyed expectations. The big value is just to tell others you’ve been there, but beyond that whether the money you shell out is competitive value - is something to be considered . Be prepared for the hidden rude experience of what a luxury vision destination can become when passion and dedication seem to be completely absent in the way the property is managed and serviced.

We had booked 02 rooms for 22nd March and check out on 25 March through one of the lady (Ragini) who works there later on as the covid case were rising we had to cancel the booking. We had cancelled our booking on 19 March. And this lady told us that we would get our refund back in 7 working days which was on 30 March but we did not get any refund neither did they called us to check if the refund was done. On 6 April we called up Ragini and enquired about the refund she said we would get it by next day. And today is 8 April we are still following up with them and still no refund initiated. When we call Ragini she doesn’t even bother to answer the call or revert back neither they revert to the mail.
And the best part they have diverted the number to some operation manager who everytime takes the details and inform us that we will get call back from the concern person but still We haven’t received any calls from them. While doing the booking they will call us several time just like as if we have taken loan from them but during the of refund all of them disappeared. Is this the way hospitality industry is been run wanna ask a simple question and that too during this pandemic when you require guest to come in instead of maintaining the relationship you people are creating bad name in the market.
Later finally after so much calls and follow up we get a mail back from this lady stating you would receive the refund on 15 April and today is 16 April and we are still waiting for the refund. These people don’t have a courtesy even to call and check wether we have received the money or no. People please do not book here worst ever experience in booking the rooms.

Had a chance to visit Aamby valley and impressed by its maintenance and infrastructure. You feel as if you are in some European country. You need special permission to visi9t inside in case you just want to visit this place. Entry is impressive.Fully planned and best maintained location of our country next to lake and on hill. Roads are broad and super smooth. Cottages are dream cottages probably owned by celebrities and super rich. It is located almost 30 min beautiful drive from Lonawla . You must visit this place in case you are around. This place has awesome restaurants but very costly and food is not that great as i expected . Service again is poor. Infrastructure is very well planned. You will see, ponds, lake, fountains, cascades, horse riding club, boat club, Golf Course, Banquet halls shopping area etc etc. Golf course is in one end and ultimate . Greens and fairway is best i have ever seen. Scenery is like heaven. Lush green and beautifully manicured lawns super quite luxurious place. You need your own conveyance to visit inside. Its spread over very big area. You cross bridges to reach other end. Beautiful place for photography. You can spend one full day in case you wish to stay there. you can also stay in the hotel available inside but that cost you more then any Luxurious 5 star hotel, but one time experience is good. They also have almost 3000 m long runway inside. Its city with a dream but i couldn't see much of people inside. Most of the cottages seems vacant and not being maintained. For ultimate dream visit I highly recommend this place. Would love to visit again.

Their were many people at the reception yelling because they didn’t get their luggage and they had been waiting for 30 minutes. The driver that drove us around the resort whistled at us to call us back, food was disgusting and cold, the property is very old and dirty. Hotel driver from airport was a heavy smoker. The room service once served us all the vegetables and forgot About the naan (bread) it took them another 15 minutes to bring that over to our room. Often you would have to wait for breakfast at the breakfast place because the entire place would be full.

Wonderful Service from Rahul, Pranav and Anuj , from house keeping to Room Service .
The Service was very fast as I we asked for bed making and they came quickly in spite of busy chaos .
They were giving answers of my questions with great patience and answers were accurate like the difference between Vip rooms and Normal Rooms , the proper information about Moisturiser Machine , the information about breakfast , etc .
Their housekeeping service was great . In the busy chaos they were providing whatever we asked ( for towels , body lotions , napkins, etc . ) .
The taste of food of room service was also good .
