Aamby Valley City hotel garners applause for its serene, nature-imbued location and inviting atmosphere, with guests often remarking on the scenic views and spacious rooms. While the diverse dining options and array of activities are well-received, reviewers caution that service can lag, and maintenance might not always meet expectations. Despite the cleanliness and room comfort praised by many, some travelers feel the costs are steep, with the hotel's value for money coming into question.

They were kind enough to give us a free upgrade to an Austrian Chalet which was completely wheelchair accessible specially the toilet and shower area as I am a paraplegic in a wheelchair. The staff at the Woodpecker restaurant were also very helpful specially during Breakfast time. Special thanks to Jayshree and Aniket who served us at breakfast. Food spread at breakfast was also fantastic. Certain amenities are not so well maintained like the arcade games area and surprisingly the indoor games are chargeable like Table tennis and Badminton. Go Karting was really good and our son enjoyed a lot. Food quality can be better specially the continental stuff.

We had an amazing stay. Drove down in less than 2 hours from pune and were very well looked after by Mr. Vikram and the staff. Our every need was catered to. Mr. Vikram was most helpful, cheerful with a very helpful attitude. The chalets are wooden, modern with all amenities. Buggy rides are available to and fro to rooms, reception, restaurants and parking.
Mr. Angshuman was another thorough gentleman and he manages the Woodpecker restuarant. He ensured we got all we asked for despite a busy breakfast and dinner service. We'll remember the vacation and the helpful staff for all times as they made our stay so enjoyable

The property is great, there is plenty to do. We stayed in the aussie cottage , the room is ok but one can see the wear and tear. The WC is fitted very VERY low. I had had a spine surgery recently and requested a room with a higher fitted WC, but the response was that the entire 1000 acre property did not have a room with a higher WC. If you’re travelling with senior citizens or have any such issues then this place is not for you.

The room service is very poor, just a single dal mkahani order was delivered after 1 hour and that too in a cardboard box without any plate, spoon , bowl or tissues, even a swiggy/zomato delivery provides these things. I’ve never seen such a highly paid hotel giving room service in cardboard boxes.

Staff is not very responsive and cordial like you would expect from such a vast setup. You have to keep calling and calling the reception, room service to get anything done.

Come to aamby valley to experience the property, don’t expect 5 star service for your rooms!

The area is beautiful but don't rely on the website pictures, they have been taken long ago.

There is nothing luxury there anymore, obviously no maintenance for years. We had an Aussie room, dirty, stinky, insects dead and alive, broken toilet, balcony door not closing, cobwebs, disgusting couch, AC not working, etc.

The funniest: a warning to keep to keep the door closed to prevent insects, rodents and monkeys to enter, but a gap at the top of the door wide enough to pass the hand.

The most dangerous: the balcony was shaking and had visibly already collapsed by three inches.

Untrained and non cooperative staff.

Finally, decided to leave the place after one hour.

For years, I've been traveling in remote areas for works, I've even slept on foam mattress dropped on a concrete bench, but even there, AC and Internet were working and the place was clean. And they were not claiming meeting "international luxury standards".

Don't waste your money there.

Went for a week end with family there in January. we stayed in Supreme cottage. Being a Friday, our check in day had almost nil gusts in our neighboring cottages. Pin drop silence welcomes you inside/outside the cottage. All the time you can here bird chirping in and around the cottage. We were welcomed at main entrance with tradition dhol of Maharashtra. After a thorough checking only one can proceed towards the reception, an escort vehicle lead us to our cottage. You get the chance to enjoy the drive to restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner when you drive on beautiful road nestled in greenery. the verity and taste pf food at restaurant is awesome, service is good except that the live roti counter was flooded with guests who queued there at rush time.

The place has activities for all family members. All members in our family enjoyed fishing, kayaking, horse riding etc. Though costly but you can also enjoy vada pav, jalebi & tea near sail bridge.

Rooms need a bit better maintenance.

We have had a really bad experience, there is no housekeeping and no staff. The property is in beautiful place with amazing views but paying Rs 25000 per night for the cabana was really money down the drain since there was no maintenance of the place. First of all our room was supposed to be ready at 2pm but till 5pm it was not ready which wasted our first day since all the activities shut at 6 pm. On the second day, we were feeling a little better since the place is beautiful and the boat ride & food was good but horrible maintenance again spoiled our mood. We came back to see ants in our room and that made us realize that the room was filthy. Upon calling the manager, no one responded. There was only one poor soul managing 12 cabanas who tried to please us but the management of the place had no decency to even come and hear out our grievances. Apparently the staff hasn’t been paid for 2 months and I strongly recommend to avoid this place for the time being. Don’t waste your money here, instead take a suite at any 5 star in mumbai and go for a staycation.

There were a few goofups in room allocation but the staff is really cooperative and helpful. I was overly pleased by the service of the staff and managers who ensured that after the delay in obtaining room keys, there is no additional complaint. They went out of their ways be helpful.
Place is good too. Good food at Woodpecker and LFC,view is nice from the cottage and cleanliness is maintained. We enjoyed our time at Ambey. Wish the airplane ride was on though. Would have loved to do that.

We booked two Aussie Rooms and the hotel provided us one full chalet ground floor and first floor. We were three of us..and first break post covid. The moment we went to sleep, I could hear rats scratching the wooden walls and then it made its way into the room. And while night went without much sleep. In the morning the hotel guys came and fixed a big hole right next to window. If there was proper housekeeping they shd have easily seen this glaring whole.

Anyway, next night same issue happened and again there was a rat in the room, this time I could feel it running on the bed too. The pest control guys came again and saw another big hole right in one corner of the bedroom. Again goes to prove how poor their housekeeping is. The pest control folks immediately came and put rat control stuff.

There was rat droppings all over the room and showed it to the housekeeping team. Who failed to clean properly.

The friends sleeping on first floor also could hear the rat running in their room too!

Otherwise a serene and a beautiful place to go.

I think they are overwhelmed with tourists and are not doing a proper maintenance.

For us the stay was horrible. The staff are polite and courteous, helpful.

The fountain show is worth the visit, they charge 300 per person...but really awesum.

The nature and surroundings are amazing. Food is good, a bit expensive, but you would expect this.

The swimming pool was closed.

The restaurant by lakeside has good options the pizza and pav bhaji were great!

Don't miss the Swing!

This property is not even worth one star. Never experienced such awful services. Rooms are not event worth 1k when they charge 28k for a night. Their rooms stink and have stains all over. Sofa sets and carpets are totally dusty. You would rather prefer to stay home than coming here.
