We stayed here as to be central to the airport and Plaça de Catalunya. We came for a destination wedding in La Baronia.
From the moment at check-in, Luca was super helpful, friendly & informative about the property and surrounding area.
The room had everything we needed for our short stay. I made sure to take full advantage of the deep tub!! The breakfast (from what my travel mates shared) was perfect and very filling. But the one thing that really stood out to me was the staff! From the housekeeping to the front desk, everyone was always willing to extend a helping hand. Housekeeping always smiling and greeting us every day, asking if we needed more toiletries or amenities to the front desk helping us book taxis (several times), assisting with directions throughout the city, and even late night purchases from their sundry shop/bar). A highlight was a young lady who worked the AM shift one day, who let us foreigners plug in her personal number to the “Glovo” app (Spanish version of “DoorDash”) so that we could get our food ordered to the hotel. Talk about going above and beyond.

Last minute booking for disabled lady and myself as a carer companion. We had extra luggage for medical reasons. Staff were extremely helpful, thoughtful and the room was a comfortable, clean relief from a stressful journey. The disabled access was fantastic as due to an injury, client needed smooth travelling surfaces and space. The lifts were reasonable size to accommodate our equipment.

The hotel is very basic, yet clean. Staff is professional. I had some issues with the shower water temperature that could not be controlled. My main issue with my stay was that it is way overpriced during the week of a large event at the Fira (MWC). I mean I understand supply and demand, yet if you charge $400/night you cannot provide an army barracks-like experience.

cheap business hotel. Wi-Fi not included in rooms: you have to pay extra cost to activate it. rooms are basic and not that clean. bathroom needs a restyle: the floor is dirty because of the age, no window nor fan. air conditioning can not be regulated: too cold or OFF. I am not that happy about this solution considering also that in a business area with business people, staff should fluently speak English at least. breakfast is good.

Nice location, close to metro station. Clean and comfy rooms, with polite and helpful staff. Marta from reception is a star !!! Will definitely use it again. Recommend for everyone, just bear in mind that if you travel with a car you need to obtain a low emission zone permit for Barcelona. Registration take only 5 minutes and cost 5 euro for foreign registered cars.

We stayed for our end of the year weekend in the Barcelona Fira Travelodge Hotel and we only have positive to say about it. Perfect calm location which his mid-way between the airport and downtown, which mad it very quick to access both of them through public transport (particularly as our flight was early in the morning, the journey from hotel to airport was not even 30 minutes via public transport). Room was very clean and had everything we needed for a perfect stay, complimentary wifi was greatly appreciated. But by far the very best of this hotel is with no doubt the kindness of the staff, we would have given more than 5 stars if we could. They were so smiley and helpful all the time looking after us from the moment we arrived, and special thanks to Lilia for her warm welcome as we checked in. She took the time with us to answer all our questions and she really made us feel as home: we take her smile in our hears as one of the best memories in our trip! Thanks a lot to the hotel and all the team 😊

This place is clean and they great location near a metro stop. Omi checked us in and was absolutely fantastic. She totally made our trip to Barcelona memorable. She suggested we take the Metro (Barcelona’s subway system) to anywhere we wanted to go. She explained it in detail to us and we were able to get around Barcelona in no time. We were planning on taking taxis but this was so much more fun and economical. Thank you Omi!

Simply the best Travel lodge we have stayed in. The staff were excellent and helpful. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. Location is perfect for transport throughout the city. Breakfast was first class and we had evening meal served by Rosa Enamorado, the most helpful and pleasant server we have ever had! We stayed for three nights and Our experience was just first class and cannot we recommend highly enough. We came here prior to our cruise and can say it was just an excellent choice

2 Min From Metro, Direct Line to Airport, Simple stay. In my view this hotel is value for money, you can quickly go to any place by Metro. Stay was quite. They offer breakfast Breakfast in Lobby.I had mobile Internet, so don't need wifi, you have to pay €3 for wifi.

The Hotel is located near the airport and walking distance to the metro station Fira. It is in a peaceful and quiet area of Barcelona. The staff is very friendly especially to Norma Pineda. She was serving our food. My daughter loves the spaghetti and the chicken platter which comes with chicken wings, chicken nuggets and some fried potato. It is very nice to chill in the restaurant. It is clean, simple but has a friendly and warm vibe. On my next trip to Barcelona, I will definitely book here again.

My wife and I got a taxi from the airport to the motel, but cannot remember the price. Suffice to say that it is not that expensive, and would be cheaper than travelling on the train with 2 children. Be advised that it is a short walk approx. 300 mtrs from the metro to the motel.
There are a few car parking spaces on the road outside the hotel, but these are usually taken. There is an underground car park on the other side of the main road outside the conference centre. Not sure how much it costs and when it is open.
There are more places to choose from in the Barcelona area.
