Travelodge with its usual basic quality offerings
No Air Con and opening window opposite petrol station wasn't best move
No kettle in room for tea or coffee refreshments as stated in booking
So had to buy from downstairs bar in the morning
Walking to metro was five minutes away so airport was no hassle to get to and easy links to city centre
Just the small things let the hotel down
So for the little extra euro stay nearer the centre to enjoy Barcelona with ease

Indeed, the hotel has a very good location to go to the airport, but also to access the city centre and enjoy leisure or business.
Regarding the inconveniences you found in our facilities, I would like to remind you that the next time something similar happens to you, do not hesitate to tell our colleagues, as the whole team will be happy to help you to make your stay totally perfect, because although we do not have a kettle in the room, we do offer it to guests for a deposit of 10€ which is returned upon delivery of the product.
In the same way, I confirm that the hotel has air conditioning and heating, so if the temperature was not to your liking or if it did not work as it should, the colleagues at reception or maintenance could help you to avoid discomfort.

The staggering price puts customers in a hostile position ; they feel TravelLodge has been taking unfair advantage of them .
Why? Because the Fair in Barcelona is in an isolated area far from everything .

Hotel was located in the middle of nowhere, but it was 2 minutes from Metro station. It took 35-40 minutes to get to city center. The room and bathroom were decent size. One chair was not enough for triple room. Breakfast was simple but OK with some hot and cold options (same every day). Service could be better. Disposable cups in the bathroom were never restocked. Our room lost electricity one night, and we had to move to another room at midnight. Receptionists were polite but sometimes gave us incorrect information. For example, we arrived late and asked where we could find food. We were told to find a shopping center. Later we found out that food could be ordered from hotel's bar 24 hours a day.

Nice location, close to metro station.
Clean and comfy rooms, with polite and helpful staff. Marta from reception is a star !!! Will definitely use it again. Recommend for everyone, just bear in mind that if you travel with a car you need to obtain a low emission zone permit for Barcelona. Registration take only 5 minutes and cost 5 euro for foreign registered cars.

Please be careful when booking this hotel. No fridge, hairdryer or tea/coffee making facilities in rooms.
Front desk staff were very obliging and helpful.
Rooms were clean.
Would not stay here again unless all of Barcelona was booked out.
