Its 3 minutes away from the metro station and the cab fare to the downtown area about 15-20 euros.
During the night several Police patrols meet at the bar for a coffe so I guess Its very safe
As a negative is the fact that is near a gas station with car wash which means you wake up in the sound of washing cars

Travelodge with its usual basic quality offerings
No Air Con and opening window opposite petrol station wasn't best move
No kettle in room for tea or coffee refreshments as stated in booking
So had to buy from downstairs bar in the morning
Walking to metro was five minutes away so airport was no hassle to get to and easy links to city centre
Just the small things let the hotel down
So for the little extra euro stay nearer the centre to enjoy Barcelona with ease

Indeed, the hotel has a very good location to go to the airport, but also to access the city centre and enjoy leisure or business. Regarding the inconveniences you found in our facilities, I would like to remind you that the next time something similar happens to you, do not hesitate to tell our colleagues, as the whole team will be happy to help you to make your stay totally perfect, because although we do not have a kettle in the room, we do offer it to guests for a deposit of 10€ which is returned upon delivery of the product. In the same way, I confirm that the hotel has air conditioning and heating, so if the temperature was not to your liking or if it did not work as it should, the colleagues at reception or maintenance could help you to avoid discomfort. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you give us a new opportunity in any of our 6 hotels in Spain, among which is Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou, in the heart of Barcelona. Regards,

I have been treat very Well and the service was very good from Omi and Edgar at the recepcien 😃
I totally recomend it.

We stayed here as to be central to the airport and Plaça de Catalunya. We came for a destination wedding in La Baronia.
From the moment at check-in, Luca was super helpful, friendly & informative about the property and surrounding area.
The room had everything we needed for our short stay. I made sure to take full advantage of the deep tub!! The breakfast (from what my travel mates shared) was perfect and very filling. But the one thing that really stood out to me was the staff! From the housekeeping to the front desk, everyone was always willing to extend a helping hand. Housekeeping always smiling and greeting us every day, asking if we needed more toiletries or amenities to the front desk helping us book taxis (several times), assisting with directions throughout the city, and even late night purchases from their sundry shop/bar). A highlight was a young lady who worked the AM shift one day, who let us foreigners plug in her personal number to the “Glovo” app (Spanish version of “DoorDash”) so that we could get our food ordered to the hotel. Talk about going above and beyond.
Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

We have booked this travelodge two summers in a row now on our road trip from UK to Costa Blanca. After (regretfully) staying in B&B hotels and Campinales along the way, it was a huge sigh of relief when we arrived at this Travelodge!!
The staff are considerably helpful, polite and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. The fact that they are English speaking is a bonus. The lounge area was nice - we had dinner for a family of 10 and the price was amazing! Pizza, chicken nuggets and chips, omelettes and burgers all round for no more than €60. Very safe, secure and clean.
My only niggle (but doesn't change my 5 star review) is the car park. Not easy to get into, and even harder to park/get out of! My advice - park outside on arrival and walk down to see if there is any space. I would always advise parking in a secure car park, but it is a very tight squeeze. First year we stayed, we found this out. Last year we simply parked out in the road!
For all you one-nighters... You have nothing to fear by booking this accommodation!
