My Fiancé and his 10 year old Son spent the half term here sharing one room.

Our room was very small, but clean. We didn’t have a nice view but it was facing away from the road, making it a quieter room. The beds were very comfortable and we had no problems sleeping. Great WiFi.

The bathroom was spacious but impractical. The powerful shower was over a bath, half the size of a normal bath, with a glass door that doesn’t seal properly. The water also sprays off the end of the half bath onto the shiny tiled floor. We found this very dangerous for the 10 year old. There were plenty of towels available which were handy to cover the floor.

We paid for breakfast and I’m glad we did. There was plenty food options including pastries and hot food.

We didn’t use a lot a transport to get around as we prefer to walk. We did ask reception to order as a taxi to the airport, which cost €35. I believe there are cheaper fares available. However the staff were always polite and friendly.

If we ever visited this city again, we would return to this hotel.

Thank you for your review and for recommending our hotel! Some of our bathrooms have this half size bath and others have a normal size bath. We'll have a look at the sealing of the glass door. Thank you for everything!

This 4 stars hotel is absolutely perfect for a long weeken in Barcelona. His location is superb and you can easily reach any part of the city. it is successfully connected with the airport and the shuttle bus drops you off literally 10 min walking from the hotel. The staff is super friendly and they speak a wide range of languages, l speak Spanish quite well but they were able to interact in Italian as well as English at a professional level. l had to run an online event one of the day and l needed a quite place and they suggested to use the business room downstairs. it was quite and comfortable and.....free of charge. The hotel has also a very nice spa area which is open for most of the day. Rooms are ok, mine had a window giving to the main road and if might be noisy especially at first/second floor. the breakfast is available at a cost of 9,50€ per person per day and it is not included or at least mine wasn't included. I would definitely come back to the Gabri millenni hotel and l would be happy to also suggest this hotel to all my friends and family visiting Barcelona.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel, I think our expectations were met almost completely, the staff was extremely helpful and nice, the room was modern. The cleaning services were at the hight level. The hotel breakfast was fine, a wide range of dishes, hot and cold buffet, lots of fruits and vegetables. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a variety of fresh juices were also included in the breakfast. But something disappointed us, it was the hotel's spa. We were not notified in advance that we needed to arrange the exact time, and when we arrived all the times were booked two days in advance. We were also disappointed that we could not visit the jacuzzi on the roof of the hotel because it was temporarily closed. The location of the hotel was fantastic, the hotel is located in the center of Barcelona, the main street "La Rambla" was only 10 minutes walk away, also good access to the subway or bus to the airport.

I want to start by saying that 3.5 is the ideal rating for this hotel; as my partner gave it a 4 I have opted for a 3. Please don't let that put you off.
If you are heading to Barcelona for a few days this hotel will cover all your needs. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet & the bathroom has a wondeful power shower. I should mention this is not a hotel to have a bath in, it was too small for my ten year old.
The wifi is excellent -better than mine at home - and the buffet breakfast offers a wide selection. The staff were friendly & helpful which makes life & a stay easier.
The beach is around 30 mins on foot though there is a marina & some bars on the way to break up the journey. La Ramblas starts by the Christopher Columbus statue on the way there, around 15 mins walk. Be careful if you go up there, the areas reputation for pick pockets is well deserved. Off the main street you can find a variety if bars, resturants & a great market. The cities other tourist attraction can be reached on foot in around an hour, less on public transport, and the walk is worth it.... soak up some sun & stop in a neighbourhood cafe.
In all I would come back here should we return to the city & if you want a good place to rest your head it is hard to say other than to come here.

Hotel is located in a center of Barcelona. Rooms are nice, beds and pillows are comfortable, breakfast is great!.
However, shower needs improvement, towels should be hanging and not touching legs of the people who are washing their hands. Phone did not work in our room for a few days and cleaning should be done better.
There are very friendly, helpful and nice people at front desk such as Mark, Alberto and Eduardo. Thank you guys very much!
The only unpleasant and rude person was their manager Havier. Whenever you are asking him question the answer is "I am busy". He is sitting in another room instead of front desk at his shift and does not allow to ask him to disturb him. If owners would like to have happy customers at their hotel, they need to change the manager.

When we reached the room we discovered that it was a triple with three separate beds, instead of the double room we had booked. They did change our room the following day but we had to check out and check in again.

The new room stank of cigarettes and was far from being fresh and clean. Eg. the toilet had the "disinfected" seal and yet the seat had stains on it.

The hotel is very close to a metro station and about 1 km from Rambla.

Kettle is available in the room, but no minibar, no slippers, no toilet brush.

Breakfast is very basic with very limited options. Restaurant staff is insufficient during rush-time, resulting in a lot of dirty/unavailable tables.

We would not go again and would definitely not recommend.

I'm sorry if you lost time changing the room. There shouldn't be any smell of cigarettes because it's not allowed to smoke in the rooms. Unfortunatedly some people seem not to respect this rule. Thank you for mentioning our good situation. It's correct that we don't have a minibar but people appreciate to have a mini fridge, especially in summer, to store their own drinks. There is no toilet brush with the amenities in the room, because the experience shows us that people bring their own brush but you can ask for it at the reception. I must say a lot of clients are very pleased with the breakfast. We try to offer a lot of variety. I'm sorry if it was busy when you went to the restaurant. We will see with our staff if this occurs very regularly and in that case we will try to do something about it.

Going to keep this fairly short but I've reviewed this a 5 because I think value for money, this is excellent. We booked only 2 weeks before our stay so weren't left with too many options but for £420 total for 4 nights between 2 people, absolutely no complaints. If you're one of these people that likes top class things and hotels then maybe this is not for you- but for a value for money, well located stay, this is excellent. If your main purpose of staying is Sagrada Familia, maybe this is not the place for you as that is quite far - but for Ramblas, Beach, Pl Cataluyna & Montjuic this is excellent. Staff couldn't do enough for us either - bravo!

Friendly welcoming team, from Reception through breakfast to housekeeping. Great recommendations for places to eat. Rooms are basically furnished and not huge but clean, comfortable and quiet. Full and varied fresh breakfast.
Situated between Eixample and Gothic quarter, short walk from riverside, 2 mins to metro with funicular to Montjuic and couple of stops to the train station. 10 min walk from the airport shuttle bus. Would definitely recommend. (We were especially encouraged by the reviewer here who had to be told how to behave in Reception, shows the hotel has high standards, even if some of the guests don't).

Ridiculously tiny room with a view to a firewall, the heating system doesn't work, not sure if even exists. Feels like the walls made by paper as you can hear your neighbour talking. Other than these, location wise is pretty good, just a few minutes away from La Rambla, however the streets don't feel safe around. Wouldn't go back here next time.

I'm sorry if you weren't pleased with the size of your room or the view. We have different views, some have street view and others are at the back. It depends what the client is looking for. We als have clients who ask for the rooms at the back because they say they are quiet and they're not in the room during the daytime anyway. If you would consider to come back, we could try to give you a room with street view. We're happy that you mention the good location and we're happy that you liked this.

How much, on average, is the cost of a taxi from/to the airpor?
Answer from ODL
Bristol, United Kingdom40 contributions34 helpful votes
The taxi is between €20 and €30 depending upon timings and destination. There is a good train service from/to both Terminals which is €4.50 for a single journey. The train to the airport is not covered by the T10 ticket suggested by the other traveller. Airport train tickets have to be purchased separately.

La plage la plus proche est à un peu plus d'un kilomètre. Lorsque vous sortez de l'hôtel, dirigez-vous vers Paral-lel et tournez à gauche. Il faudra environ 10 minutes pour y aller à pied :-)
