I selected this hotel because of its location and because I wanted to have a really nice stay: I had to work and needed some comfort for that. So I decided to pay a bit more but to get that comfort. Well-well...
There are good things about this hotel. First, its location. This is really superb. Two steps to the metro station, and one can go by foot to the centre...
Second good thing, the stuff was very friendly. Not very helpful but definitely friendly.
I can also assume that probably the non-single rooms may be nice. But I stayed in a single room... Avoid taking a single room there!!! First, they are all looking in the inner yard, which makes you think of a prison. Concrete walls… very, very ugly. Second, the rooms are so tiny, it's hard to move around them. I'm used to small hotel rooms and usually am not bothered with this. But these ones are way too small!
Finally, I stayed there 4 nights and all these nights were spoiled by a strong and very unpleasant smell in the bathroom. I had to carefully close the bathroom door but still in the smell came into the room. (I actually noticed that the whole hotel was somewhat smelly... No recent renovations, probably.) On the third (!) day of my complains the receptionist suggested me to change the room. But the other room was not much better, and it was only one night left, so I refused (I appreciated the suggestion, though).
So, to conclude: single rooms are not to recommend. They are by no means 4-star hotel rooms!
