Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly, convenient location.

Friendly welcoming team, from Reception through breakfast to housekeeping. Great recommendations for places to eat. Rooms are basically furnished and not huge but clean, comfortable and quiet. Full and varied fresh breakfast.
Situated between Eixample and Gothic quarter, short walk from riverside, 2 mins to metro with funicular to Montjuic and couple of stops to the train station. 10 min walk from the airport shuttle bus. Would definitely recommend. (We were especially encouraged by the reviewer here who had to be told how to behave in Reception, shows the hotel has high standards, even if some of the guests don't).
Date of stay: September 2022
Room Tip: We were on 3rd floor street side and windows sufficiently insulated to block out all outside noise.

Today , I met the most unprofessional person in the hospitality industry . We came earlier for check in after a long flight , I understand the room was not ready .
The manager who is a person who has psychological issues and does not know how to speak . We were seating confortable on the sofa but not sleeping he told us in a very bad way that we destroy the image of the hotel and he doesn’t want people like us . If we did a mistake he could tell us nicely to seat normally but not to speak with very badly like he was speaking with animals . We were really hurt he behaved like someone raciste and please do not go to this hotel he is far from las ramblas . The area is not clean and the staff is rude . It is 2 stars hotels and please do not trust the pictures .

Avoid please , and the manager should see a doctor in order to stop speaking like that and under estimating people .

The walls were paper thin - we could hear EVERYTHING in the adjacent room and the corridors were crowded by screaming shouting children into all hours of the night

The location was not ideal either - a dodgy part of Barcelona notorious for prostitution and drugs

The bathroom was nice

This 4 stars hotel is absolutely perfect for a long weeken in Barcelona. His location is superb and you can easily reach any part of the city. it is successfully connected with the airport and the shuttle bus drops you off literally 10 min walking from the hotel. The staff is super friendly and they speak a wide range of languages, l speak Spanish quite well but they were able to interact in Italian as well as English at a professional level. l had to run an online event one of the day and l needed a quite place and they suggested to use the business room downstairs. it was quite and comfortable and.....free of charge. The hotel has also a very nice spa area which is open for most of the day. Rooms are ok, mine had a window giving to the main road and if might be noisy especially at first/second floor. the breakfast is available at a cost of 9,50€ per person per day and it is not included or at least mine wasn't included. I would definitely come back to the Gabri millenni hotel and l would be happy to also suggest this hotel to all my friends and family visiting Barcelona.

Room tip: External rooms are more exposed to noise coming from the main road.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel, I think our expectations were met almost completely, the staff was extremely helpful and nice, the room was modern. The cleaning services were at the hight level. The hotel breakfast was fine, a wide range of dishes, hot and cold buffet, lots of fruits and vegetables. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a variety of fresh juices were also included in the breakfast. But something disappointed us, it was the hotel's spa. We were not notified in advance that we needed to arrange the exact time, and when we arrived all the times were booked two days in advance. We were also disappointed that we could not visit the jacuzzi on the roof of the hotel because it was temporarily closed. The location of the hotel was fantastic, the hotel is located in the center of Barcelona, the main street "La Rambla" was only 10 minutes walk away, also good access to the subway or bus to the airport.

Very sub-standard hotel - no idea how they got the 3 star rating! Rooms dirty and damaged (at one point we had no power in half of the room...), no view or light and the decor is very dated in the rooms. The amenities were awful - they say they have a bar but its a few stools in the reception area and some drinks. No restaurant for the evening, just breakfast and the roof terrace is falling apart. The gym comprised of a couple of pieces of ancient fitness equipment and was down in a basement with no-one around - many of the rooms were in darkness. Staff were friendly until you had a complaint: we got locked out of our en-suite (the door slammed itself shut and locked itself) - we called reception for help - he came up and told us we needed to keep a coin to unlock the bathroom as it regularly does this!
The location of this hotel is okay but not great, was a 30min walk to the beach. We were so disappointed with this place and were shocked to see how bad it was when we got there - the photos do not show the true picture at all. Have stayed in a lot of budget hotels but by far this was the worst.

I'm very sorry to read that the hotel didn't answer your expectations.
I think we're not a ultra modern hotel but a normal, well maintained hotel with a good situation, 10 minutes walking from the Ramblas and friendly staff.
We have a small gym downstairs and a small terrace on the roof.
We have a terrace outside to have a drink but it's true that townhall is so strict with permissions that it's very reduced.
In spite of the things you didn't like, I hope you enjoyed your stay in Barcelona!
