I would never stay in this hotel again,The pictures on this hotel are very very deceiving, the beds are something from the 60s not modern what so ever, the rooms are crap the shower head was broken the beday was lose an not screwed to the floor there was also paint in the bath tub not to mention the bath tubs are the size for a 5yrs old,the breakfast was also terrible, some of the staff were lacking customer service, the sauna was not in use (reading prev reviews seems like its been out of order for some time) only allowed 1 free use of the Jacuzzi not impressed!!!!! this hotel is so small it seems like the owner is only seeing the euro/£ sings and not the comfort of there guests everything is cramped together even the breakfast area is so small you might as well as be siting on top of each other not only that had to wait for clean free table!!!!up on check in the young man on reception was not at all friendly his shirt looked like it had not been washed for over a week as front of house this was not a good look either the only good thing about this hotel is the location as you are close to bars, shops, restaurants, la rambla, ect..........my advise avoid it like the plague.waist of hotel waist of money you will not get what you are paying for this is not a 4 star hotel more of a 1 star

Unfortunately this hotel disappointed on every level. Looking forward to the spa/s and sauna, but the outdoor one was out of order, the indoor spa had two inches of dirty water in it and you have to book your one only free visit to it with reception and the sauna had a funky smell to it that prevented you from stepping inside. The whole reception area and floor lobby had a strange smell to it. The room was small and didn't have tea or coffee making facilities. Although the bathroom was a good size and clean, the room itself and the floor wasn't clean. The bed was old and very uncomfortable, the blankets smelt musty and dirty. The staff (besides one very helpful and friendly reception staff member) were either too busy to assist or non-existent. Each time not wanting the distraction from their phones to assist with any queries. The hotel is situated next to a park frequented by the homeless and there appeared to be trouble there often with police turning up in vans with dogs. I would suggest you search elsewhere for a hotel for the same price with but a much better standard.

The Hotel is right next to the Paral -lel Metro station, which gets you almost anywhere in Barcelona fast. Las Ramblas is very close (7min. walk).
The rooms have a decent size for European standard rooms.
Hotel and rooms are VERY clean. Loved it.
The TV is very small, around 17" and has only two channels in English (news).
There is always someone at the reception and the staff is VERY friendly. They can help you out with all kinds of questions.
Good WiFi reception in the room and it's fast.
The fitness equipment needs to be replaced. Very rusty. You can bike and train your arms and chest -that's it.
Sauna and whirlpool are great but close around 8pm.
I paid around 70 Euro per night, which is a great value.

I stayed at the Garbi Milleni with a large group in January 2018. Having not paid a lot for the hotel my expectations were not great but the hotel really surprised me. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and most importantly clean. There was a large choice at breakfast time all regularly refreshed. The staff were all pleasant and helpful especially reception who gave us some really good pointers when asked. The hotel has a jacuzzi, sauna and gym in the basement which you can book out, lovely to relax after a long day. The rooftop has a hot tub and sun beds although the hot tub wasn’t filled during our stay. The location is perfect, really close to metro stops and within walking distance of all of the sights we visited! It’s approximately a ten minute walk from las Ramblas. This hotel is ideal for a city break.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Was comfortable and clean. Wouldn't say its quite four star but only because things seemed poorly finished ie grouting/sealant around baths and doors is not great. We weren't informed that the air conditioning does not work during the winter and ended up sleeping in a sauna of a room on first night. However consecutive nights were perfect upon this revelation. Breakfast served had a good range and was included in our package. But mostly the location was ideal. We found taxi to be the best way to get around with children. Most journeys cost 5-8 euros max and if you planned well you could see most sites in clusters. For an independent or young group of travellers public transport is on your doorstep. Parallel station is a few minutes away. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Would advise management to get on top of finishing touches to fully deserve your 4 stars. Staff were freindly in particular the lady that runs the breakfast area.
