Write a reviewI stayed at the AC Hotel Victoria Suites for 8 nights while doing a program at IESE Business School nearby.
The rooms were large, with a work/study area, a bedroom and a balcony. The room had all the amenities you'd expect of a 4-star hotel. The items in the mini bar - which includes beer, soft drinks, fruit juice and mineral water - are complimentary and replenished daily. There's a Nespresso machine for coffee/tea.
The hotel is just off Av Diagonal which is one of the main streets in Barcelona, and within walking distance of a metro station. Also within walking distance - along Av Diagonal - are a number of malls, cafes and restaurants.
Wi-fi is chargeable, but you can connect multiple devices (notebook, tablet, mobile phone) and is fast and reliable.
The buffet breakfast in the AC Lounge gets a little boring after a few days.

The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. We used it prior to boarding the cruise ship. It takes about 20-30 minutes from there to get to the cruise terminal, and about 30-45 minutes to get to airport. The staff can call cabs, like they did for us. There is a nice lounge room to sit near the lobby. The metro station is about a 10 minute walk.
The staff was very nice and they had refreshing cold bottle of water on the reception desk, which was much appreciated as it was really hot when we walked back from the metro station. It is a bit pricey. There is a restaurant on premises, but we did not eat there. I just wish they had bigger elevators. A family of 3 may have to make two trips if they have luggage.

I stayed here for a week and it is in nice, quiet area that is walking distance to the train. Starbucks, groceries and even a mall.
The rooms are relatively spacious for Barcelona and very clean. Has a fridge, coffee maker and a bottled water. Can get more water in the gym if needed.
On that topic though, for all of the space this place has on the floor for the fitness area, it may be one of the weakest Marriott gyms I’ve ever seen. Pics below. But it could very easily be made much better with a few simple things. For example, it has lots of very light dumbells for women, but not one that could be considered useable for a man. All it needs is a few of those dumbbells in place of the two of every lighter dumbbell for some unknown reason they have there, and you could at least get a bit of a workout in..
They also have all this space beside the fitness room in the pictures that has these chairs that I’m sure our never used. If they could simply knock out the one wall of the fitness room that faces this area and open it up, and then add an all in one pulley machine with chin up bar you’d at least have a useable gym. Wouldn’t take much work or addition at all and not sure why they have not done that already.
Giving it only 4 stars due to this, and maybe should only be 3.5 stars as the gym they suggest in pics they have at this hotel looks nothing like they actually have.

It lived up to it's ratings on Trip Advisor. Nice hotel with suite-sitting room/bedroom with divider. Balcony for each rooms. A bit dated in some room aspects. The tub/shower combo was a bit funky to operate. Nice restaurant and bar. Nice friendly service personnel. Spent three day and enjoyed. Not city center but public transportation nearby made it easy to reach all locations.

I stayed here for a business week, five nights, and thought it was really fine. It's not near the center or Barcelona, but it's a short walk from the subway which gets you where ever you want to go very quickly. The breakfast was really good, the in room coffee maker too. Mini bar prices were even reasonable. And due to the "suites" layout, you have lots of room. Nice little balcony event. I strong recommend this place.
