Write a reviewWe stayed at this AC hotel prior to a cruise and it was a perfect fit for our family of 3. This was our first experience with an AC hotel as we were traveling from the US and we were very pleased with our experience. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful with directions and recommendations for places to visit nearby during our short stay. We also enjoyed the dining room for breakfast on the mornings that we were there. I have titanium status with Marriott and we were very pleased with the upgraded family suite that they gave us. The hotel was close to a metro station so that we could visit other areas of Barcelona.

My family stayed at AC Victoria Suites in October. We had a family suite with 2 bedrooms. My 2 kids slept in single beds and we slept in a separate room. There was a living room and a single bathroom.
The facilities were spacious and clean. We ate at local restaurants like tagliatelle, Central Park, and Starbucks.
Breakfast was not included in our rate and we found it expensive at $20 Euros per adult.
The hotel is about a 7 minute walk to the subway line, Maria Cristina. From this line (line 3), you can access downtown areas in about 15 minutes. We found that we were walking about 15,000 steps a day. The kids, who are younger (7&10) found it to be a lot of walking and complained.
If I were to come again to Barcelona, I would look to stay somewhere closer to the center of town in order to cut down on the subway rides and walking.
We never got to use the pool or gym due to being out all day.

Dear customer, Thank you for your comments about our property. We are located in one of the best areas of Barcelona (Pedralbes) and the nearest metro station (Maria Cristina) is only 5 - 10 minutes walking. It is one of the stops on line 3 which can take you to the Port of Barcelona, Plaza de Cataluña, las Ramblas and Paseo de Gracia with no need to change to another line. Family suite was perfect for our family of 5. The room was clean and comfortable. Heloise at the front desk was so friendly and helpful allowing us to check in early after our overnight flight. Local neighborhood had a nice residential feel with a park and several restaurants nearby. Also ate at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed each of our meals there. A short walk to FC Barcelona football stadium and basketball arena which was convenient while attending games each night. Unfortunately less convenient to many other sites so you may want to consider another hotel in the Old City for more traditional sightseeing.

My family and I enjoyed our 1 week stay at the AC Victoria. We had the family suite and it was nice as there were two bedrooms; one with two twin beds for our kids and the other for my wife and I. The suite is modern and very clean. Location is ok as it's away from the busy tourist attractions but the Hop-on Hop-Off tourist bus does have a stop that's about 5-min walk from hotel. So it was convenient for the one day that we did the tour bus. There's also a metro station (Maria Cristina) a little less than 10-minutes walk away.
Did try to go to the restsurant one evening around 7:30 pm and was disappointed to learn that it wasn't going to be open for food till later in the evening. There's a few ok restaurants nearby. Did not have time to check out the fitness facility but I think the pool was under construction. At night was surprised that some people outside were still mingling around 2-3 am. The jack hammer at 7 am also woke us up one morning, but besides that it was a good stay.

We just returned from a wonderful holiday trip to Barcelona. The AC Victoria Suites was the perfect place from which to explore the city as a family. We stayed in a family suite which was well equipped, spacious and comfortable.
The hotel is easily accessible by Metro or on foot. It was nice to be close to the action of the city but just a little removed from the bustle when it was time to sleep. If you have kids (or adults) who are Barca fans, it is a perfect location. We loved the hotel's restaurant for breakfast as well.
