Nice hotel with great service. The staff was extremely helpful during our stay here. They made the accommodations even better. The location is a cab ride away from the center of the city but the surrounding area of the hotel is nice and quiet which I preferred. The front desk calls you a cab when needed that is very convenient. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Barcelona!
For the TLDR - consider staying somewhere else, this is not a safe place. This property does not live up the AC Marriott standards and I had a lot of issues at this property.
The main issue being a massive safety and privacy violation. While I was in my room, another guest unlocked the door and walked in on me. The front desk had double booked the room. I understand things happen but in over a +1000 hotel night stays throughout my career (many time diamond/platinum/gold status holder), this has never happened to me before. There was no way to know if the guest returned the key and they never specified whether the new keys issued were different. I was in fear that someone could have access to my room at any moment throughout the stay. Furthermore, this was ignored and not acknowledged by management when I reached out to them via email about multiple concerns including poor room conditions and noise. They offered an insulting number of points at me without acknowledging the privacy and safety violation.
Consider your options and stay somewhere else for your own safety.

Regarding the first room that you stayed on your first night, unfortunately that night the hotel was fully booked and as the Front Desk informed you there were no higher rooms available that night and you have changed the day after to another Junior Suite on a higher floor. Your room was a Junior Suite located on the first floor, Pedralbes is one of the most quiet neighborhoods in Barcelona. We apologize that you could not rest in your room.
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused during your stay. At the same moment that this issue happened, the guest brought the keys to the Front Desk and all the keys were disabled except the keys that you had.

Hotel AC Victoria Suites by Marriott
We stayed as a family of three and couldn't fault the hotel. We needed a bit of space and were very pleasantly surprised when our room was a standard suite but HUGE. Basically the size of a small apartment. It was really clean, modern and well appointed. The check in staff were really polite and welcoming when we checked in on Saturday 14th May early afternoon - they couldn't have been more helpful.
It it is a short walk to the metro into the city centre and for us te extra travel time into the centre was worth the benefit of having more space.
This hotel is oriented toward overnight business folks and small groups, not tourists seeking to visit sites of Barcelona. It's located not far from the city line, only a 5 minute walk to a hop-on-hop-off tour bus stop, but if you plan to visit specific sites, they are a 15-20 euro taxi ride away, each way. Breakfast is not included. Restaurant offerings are good. Staff is very helpful but housekeeping can be a problem. We arrived at 9am and got admitted to our room at 3pm, having to wait in the lobby most of the time. The next day we left at 9:30am and returned after 3pm and room had not been serviced and we again had to wait an hour in the lobby.

In reference to your comments, check in time is guaranteed at 15 pm, unfortunately the hotel cannot confirm the early check in due to it being subject to availability on the same date. During your stay dates, the hotel was fully booked and the check out time is at 12 h, fortunately, you get the room before 15 pm.
Regarding the cleaning service, the housekeeping service is available until 16h, we are sorry that you arrived before the service was not done.
According to the hotel location, AC Victoria Suites is located on Pedralbes, one of the best areas in Barcelona, it is a residential area near to universities and close to Camp Nou, Pedralbes Monastery and Pedralbes Gardens. The hotel has good communication with public transportation to the city center.
