Girlfriend drops stunning court bombshell years after her boyfriend's death

A woman has admitted to killing her boyfriend a week before she was set to go to trial for his murder.
Brittany McCulloch, 30, appeared in WA's Supreme Court via video link on Thursday almost two years after Jordan Chas Caine's body was found in an Alkimos garage in Perth's north.
When asked her plea to a charge of murdering Mr Caine between July 28 and July 31, 2022, McCulloch told the court: 'I am guilty', reports 7News.

The trial set for next week has been cancelled and McCulloch will return to court in October for sentencing.
McCulloch was arrested shortly after 34-year-old Mr Caine's body was found in the garage of his Minoan Way home.
She was originally accused of manslaughter, but the charge was upgraded after a police investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the death have not been publicly released.
Pictures from the scene showed police outside the garage of the upmarket suburban house as a tradie ute was parked in the driveway.
At the time of the killing, police said they were not looking for anyone else in relation to the death and there was no threat to the community.
