Took 5 grandkids for hotel stay and waterpark visit. The rooms were very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The hotel is huge, so highly recommend downloading their app for walking directions to get around hotel. If driving in, be sure to ask which parking lot is closest to your room. Food in the complex is very expensive, but there are plenty more economical options available at Opry Mills Mall next door or other establishments surrounding the hotel. There is a food court within the water park. Refrigerator in room, but no microwave. Common microwave located on certain floors. Water park was the best! Both indoor and outdoor attractions for tots as well as older ones. Super clean, plenty of towels available. Life guards are all around. Not crowded at all; they regulate the number of guests. Check out the cool light show in the evenings. Boat ride in the Delta section was also enjoyable. Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the venue.

You can't say enough about how nice this place is. It is amazing in many ways but my room it self was shaky at best. We had 2 empty water bottles behind the end table. There was small hairs in one of the two beds. One sheet had a hole in it, the other sheet had a stain on it. The towels had stains on them (not all but more than one) and the floor appeared to be unswept.

I was shocked on how dirty the hotel room was. My room's view was the side of the building so there wasn't much of a view. You could pay an extra $52 for the water park, which looked very nice but with 5 people this was out of my price range. Parking was an extra $32 a day so we didn't even try and eat within the resort.

I had 2 kids with and we went to work out for 10 minutes on the treadmill as they missed track practice because of the event we were attending and the next day there was a sign saying no one under the age of 16 allowed to work out.

Because of how large this place is, workers didn't even know how to get to some places and there weren't signs telling you where to go. The app they have was WORTHLESS. That thing never worked.

Again, very nice place just not meant for someone like me who isn't made of money.

The property was unbelievable! So much to see and do if you get rained out in Nashville, shops, restaurants, pools and a water park, all inside! The waterfalll and boat ride in the slow river was crazy!

2 adults and two kids. Our room was ready and clean and overlooked the atrium (unfortunately over a restaurant that started getting ready at 4:30 am) the Christmas decorations are beautiful. The only downside is the amount of people packed into it and the long long lines for food. We enjoyed the water park a lot and it was not crowded and enjoyed a decent lunch there.

We visited the Opry Gaylord as part of the Heart of America Show Choir Competition. They’re we’re about 30 schools with a couple thousand kids and their families competing over a long weekend. We appeared to be two other conferences being hosted the same weekend.

The facilities are like a Vegas casino without the casino. Th ere are multiple large scale atriums with canals, water features, gardens and several shopping/dining areas. All were maintained spotlessly.

We upgraded to an atrium suite with big windows over looking one of the main dining and shopping areas. Although they’re was a fairly constant din of sound durning the day it wasn’t intrusive and everything was near silent at night. Housekeeping and service was very good and what you’d expect from a flagship Marriott property.

There are at least seven restaurants on property. We are at a couple including the pizza and burger stands and the Mexican restaurant. The food was good, but wasn’t spectacular. But they were all dealing with huge volumes of people.

Our only two complaints were that the restaurants didn’t seem prepared for the volume and lines to get in or get food were really long. And the hotel rolled the carpets up by 11:00 pm even on the weekend. We weren’t trying to party all night, but couldn’t get a drink after our competitions were done. Not everything needed to be open, but c’mon, it’s Nashville and supposed to be fun, not grandmas on a Tuesday night.

Our 12 year old spent a day at the water park. It was pristinely clean, sunny and both the air and water were appropriately warm without feeling like you were in a chlorine chamber. It was good for a days entertainment for him and a friend.

Overall a really good stay, but they could get the food and restaurant service a little better.

No clue about connecting rooms except call the hotel. Yes to the water park! If you get there early you can go ahead to the water park and when you checkout you can take luggage to your car and go back in to the water park!

Hi Lucool 269, I do hope that this note finds you and your family safe. As to your questions. I would think that if your package provides you wristbands it would be for the full stay, but I would contact reservations and ask just to make sure. I do know that at one time day and multiple day passes were sold, but again you are purchasing a package. NOTE: Since the US still under the pandemic, you might want to check with the hotel and see if they have even opened for the summer season. They still might be under "shut-down". Just food for thought. Blessings on you and your family, Dr. Marc 1 John 4:4 Hope this information was helpful
