This was our first trip to Mexico and our first stay in an all inclusive resort. We picked this hotel partly for its location which is quiet and away form the huge hotel zones of Cancun etc, just a small marina and a local fishing town, both of which are worth a short visit. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. Wonderful beach, kept clean by a hardworking team. Don't be put off by other reviews which mention rocks. There are some rocks, but walk south along the beach 50 yrds opposite the volleyball court and its clear soft sand from then on. The infinity pool on the edge of the beach is beautiful and also very quite as the swim up pool bar is in a nearby separate pool which meant the were natural zones for the party people and those looking for something a bit more peaceful. Sunbeds do get reserved early but we always found some on the beach. All areas of the pool and beach are served well by hardworking waiters. Our room (partial sea view) was spacious and well decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff in the resort all worked very hard and had a smile and provided wonderful service but special mention to Helfital from CinCin plus the team working in the Mix bar. The design of the hotel meant that it never felt busy. With the exception of the last night all the food and service we had in all the eating locations, day and night, and we tried them all, was excellent. The only negative for the whole holiday was on the last night two of the restaurants were closed on the same night meaning quite a wait (nearly 2 hours) for the others when we came out for dinner at 7 and the food and service was not as good as we had had previously or in any of the other restaurants because they were busy. We could have gone to the buffet, which is excellent, but as it was our last night we wanted to go a la carte. But putting this very small negative to one side we had an amazing week in a wonderful friendly resort, which was clean, fun and relaxing with fab pools, views, beach, staff and food. What more can you ask - but of course do book a trip or too as Mexico is so much more then just the beach. We went to Tulum with a cenote swim and another snorkeling on the coral reef, booked from local El Cid marina

Overall we had a great time at this resort. On the plus side was the great dining experiences we had at each restaurant. The food was top quality and so was the service. We would like to give a special shout out to Steven at the Spice restaurant to the excellent meal and entertainment he provided. The Carnival Buffet was mostly above average. Their deserts were just O.K. but the service was great. We would like to say thanks to Lourdes for always greeting us with a smile and looking after us. The pool area was well maintained and had great bar service. A special thank you to Daniel and Alvaro for taking such good care of us. Overall the resort is very clean and well maintained. The location of this resort is a ways from downtown Cancun. You need a taxi which is $40 US one way for up to 4 people or $60 US for more than 4 one way. On the negative side be prepared to be hasseled to attend their Unlimited Vacation Club program as soon as you arrive and if you try putting them off they will call your room every day and slip messages under your door. As for the room it was a decent size and was very clean when we arrived. However getting your room cleaned at a decent time was a hit or miss. We were there for two weeks of which the first week the room was cleaned before three o'clock but the the second week the maid would show up after four, or five or six and one time the bed was made and towels changed at 9 p.m. (this was on our last evening). Because we were in the room at these times we went three nights that our room was not cleaned. This was a very inconvenient time for them to come and clean the room when we were trying to shower and change for dinner. When we checked out we spoke the Maintenance Manager (January 19th at 11:30 a.m.) and made him aware of the problems we had with getting our room cleaned at a proper time. He apologized and said he would look into what happened. He had our email address to reply to our complaint and two weeks later still have not received a reply. This is such a let down because we had such a good time otherwise. We are left guessing that we were not important enough to warrant an explanation.

Recently returned from 2 weeks at Now Jade. Had not been there in three years. There have been so many positive changes since that time although we enjoyed our earlier stay. An outstanding job at arrival by Miguel and concierge staff. Rooms exceeded our expectations with well stocked bar. A highlight of our trip was meeting Miguel's family. One of the things that we appreciated was attention to our individual needs. Everyone on staff was always kind and attentive to any requests. Our shower was not draining but in less than 15 min someone was there to repair. On another, the air conditioning was not working, again less than 15 minutes. Finally, we asked for room cleanup to be done at a certain time each day and this was carried out. We were able to move up to Preferred. This allowed us to have al a carte breakfast at the French restaurant, access to the adult pool, and the private lounge with light lunches and complete bar. Our favourite lunch spot was Castaways. Thanks to Argeo and his staff. Antonio is an amazing waiter who ensured that dishes we made minor changes to were always exact. And to Edwi who served us on other days. Finally, to Elisa, our very gracious hostess. Our favourite al a carte was the Italian restaurant. Daniel and staff were exceptional. Daniel always ensured that we had the best of everything. Antonio, our waiter, was very good. Mitsy was a very pleasant and inviting hostess. Francisco at the Lobby Bar made sure that our glasses for our favourite Sauvignon Blanc were always well chilled. And for his warmth and attention. Beach was very walkable. Looking forward to returning next year

Now Jade is a fantastic property. We are very well traveled and Now Jade is without a doubt one of the best we have been to.The entire resort is beautiful and spotless. When arriving at the resort all my requests were met and exceeded. We booked a family suite(2 adjoining rooms) and another suite for our immediate family and they kept us and the rest of our party(15 all together) in building one and it was fabulous. Our rooms were spotless and cleaned daily as well as mini bar re-stocked. My eldest daughter has a gluten allergy and the staff was outstanding with her. The head chefs came out and met her and did such an amazing job to make her so many wonderful dishes throughout the entire week at every meal. The pools were all so clean and heated which was a plus. There was never any area of this property that wasn't spotless including all the common area bathrooms. The food was outstanding throughout the entire resort. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and supper was so wonderful. There were so many delicious choices that even the pickiest of eaters would be satisfied. We had a fabulous meal at Spice and the show chef was amazing. Capers was also delicious, especially the desserts. We had lunch several times at Castaways and again it was delicious and the kids loved the hot dogs and hamburgers pool side from the Barefoot Grill. Coco Cafe also made awesome cappuccinos and other coffee drinks. Room service brought us coffee each morning which we enjoyed on our deck will looking at the beautiful ocean and my husband and kids loved evening room service of burgers and fries. The beach was lovely to look at(barely any seaweed and what came in was cleaned up daily by very hard working men) but unfortunately we had a windy week so the current was fierce and swimming wasn't an option. But it did not stop us from building many sand castles and playing at the shore. The pool side and beach service was also outstanding. The servers remembered us daily and our drink orders, our cups were never empty and the servers were also doing everything with a smile. I truly can't say enough about Now Jade and my family and I would happily return anytime :-)

This was our first all inclusive in Mexico and if you are looking for a relaxing and affordable week in the sun this is a great option. We found the grounds, pool, rooms and beach to be clean and well maintained. Staff were wearing masks at all times and are always working very hard whether it is sanitizing, serving you in the busy restaurants or running drinks out to you by the pool. Covid protocols were good and masks were required to go into the restaurants. We weren't into the pool or evening activities so I can't speak to those.
Our two biggest disappointments were the quality of the food and drinks so if those are a priority, I would say this resort is not for you. We ate in every restaurant and I would say the food was flavorless at all of them. The breakfast buffet was probably our favorite meal. All the drinks we had from wine to cocktails by the pool were watered down and tasted terrible. We took a cab into Puerto Morales a number of times and enjoyed the meals and drinks we had at a few restaurants their much more. (Also cheaper massage options there) We may just not be all inclusive people, but we did think the location is great and it is a good resort for couples; close to the airport, easy to go snorkeling or get to the ferry to go to Isla Mujeres which we had a great time doing one day.

Our family just returned from 7 days in paradise at Now Jade. The entire staff was very friendly, and the resort and surrounding beach was beautiful, clean, and very safe for kids. We had adjoining rooms with the kids which I highly recommend so everyone has their space, however we noticed the elevator has a noticeable banging noise you can hear through the walls at night so try to avoid rooms near these.
The buffet was always full of a variety of delicious options for breakfast and lunch as well as the various pool side lunch options if you don’t care to get dressed during the day. The restaurants are all top notch and we loved the fact that no reservations were needed and that we could dine more than once at the same place. Spice was our favourite restaurant, the Teppanyaki chef Esteban Segal was very entertaining and the food he made was amazing!
Premium drinks were available at all the bars and the waiters work so hard to make sure you have everything you want, special mention goes to Alvaro (Al) who served us on the beach and at the pool, he had us and the kids laughing every time he came by and he never let our glasses go empty! We also had a great experience with Angel (waiter), he went out of his way to go and find special ingredients for a drink my girlfriend asked for and Lorenzo (bartender) who could literally make 3 drinks at once while carrying on a conversation with us!
From check in to check out the entire experience was absolutely perfect, they really know how to do it right at Now Jade and I would recommend it to anyone.

My family visited last week and the cleanliness standards during Covid were as advertised. This was our second time staying at Now Jade.Our luggage was disinfected, our temperature was checked upon arrival, silverware was placed on tables with tongs to reduce contact, sani-step mats were placed in restaurant entrances, and staff wore masks at all times. I only wish this resort required guests to wear masks in buffet lines and while waiting to enter the restaurants, in gift shops, or other non-pool areas. Guests did not follow any social distancing guidelines or did not seem concerned about not wearing face masks.
ElPidio,Yuri, Juan, and Isai from Tamarindo restaurant and all the buffet waiters were phenomenal. Our family will continue to visit now Jade. The staff here are absolutely wonderful and make the necessary accommodations to make us feel welcome. We continue to return because of the level of service that the staff provide.

Booked this vacation with reading reviews of how wonderful. Upon arrival you are bombarded with highly pushy representatives to time share. After traveling this is last thing you want to be subjected to. Got to room an it was beautiful but very strong smell of sewage. Room 2108 which is facing terrible rubbish with a path that employees take back an forth through jungle/dense wood. The shower not only did not have hot water but did not drain. When going to front desk an asking for manager was advised that hotel was over booked room can not be changed. The smell was so strong that upon arrival home luggage an clothes had to be left outside before bringing in to wash. The entertainment staff goes above an beyond to make enjoyable time. The food is just average, best meal is breakfast buffet with endless choices. The drinks are bottom shelf liquor. The housekeeping goes above an beyond to make sure your room is attended to 3x a day. Resort is big, crowded . Would not return. Customer service should be ashamed of themselves for not making sure guest are treated to what they paid for.

11 of us travelled to Now Jade for 10 days. This was a multi generational trip with ages ranging from 70+ to 10. The size of the resort was great to allow for the little ones to come and go from the pool/room as they wished as well as for the 70+ to not be bothered walking about the resort. We were in building 1 which was an excellent location. We have travelled to multiple all inclusive resorts over the last 5 years and this was the smallest resort we have stayed at.
The entertainment staff were excellent. Tomas at the pool was our waiter on most days and he was fantastic!! Edgar in the Carnival Buffet was a gem as well as Fabi (who makes the omelettes); her skill and smile made our mornings!
Breakfasts at the buffet were great, would recommend Castaways for lunch and the specialty restaurants for dinner rather than the buffet. The chocolate ice cream in the afternoons were a hit with the kids each day. Being that their ages were 10/11/13/14, we did not make use of either the kids club or the teen club although the ping pong tables were put to good use. The live music on multiple nights throughout different areas of the resort was great; enjoyed this better than the shows. The large screen in the outside lobby was fun to gather around and watch football; David even managed to have the Canada World Junior hockey play for a group of us in the sports bar.
Pool chairs are an issue if you are a late riser. I was out each morning by 5AM to get seats together and by 8AM very few were left around the pool area; towels as well had to be obtained by 8AM or they were hard to come by.
Rooms were clean and spacious although the sheets and towels were at times showing need for replacement with some tears and ragged edges. Bed and pillows were comfortable. All our rooms were classified as partial ocean view; half of these were more of a peek-a-boo view rather than partial ocean view but half had lovely views.
Beach was a concern based on reviews we had read before arrival but turned out to be ok. We found lots of areas to enter that were not rocky and enjoyed the waves and clear water.
The 3:00pm crazy game by pool staff was a must see and provided us with a lot of laughs.
This trip was originally planned for December 2018 but a last minute health issue caused us to have to postpone. Huge shoutout to Rika at AMR Resorts for her kindness and empathy during a very trying time. We were able to postpone and reschedule as needed; big thank you to AMR Resorts, Now Jade and Rika for making this happen.

This was the second time to Now Jade, we are drawn to this resort because of the amazing beach, we love sitting by the sea and having a swim. You can go for long walks down the shore in either direction and you feel safe. We love the proximity to Puerto Moreles, it is a charming village. At the end of the day of sitting on the beach and swimming in the sea we would enjoy an end of day swim in the pool- water quality was perfect, the infinity pool is beautiful. The restaurants are great, no reservations needed, the beach restaurants offer a variety of tasty foods. The buffet has lots of variety. The staff at this resort are friendly, attentive and sincere. They are naturals in their work and make you feel welcome, they are talented people.
