- Rhonda G1 contributionWonderful staffClean, nice staff, it's out of the area I would call downtown, across the street from the stadium but they have good shuttle service. Otherwise you need to Uber back. 15 minute walk to the strip.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten August 28, 2023
- AmyNebraska38 contributionsGreat live musicIt is a nice experience to walk up and down Broadway street and listen to all the live bands at the bars and restaurants. No cover charges. Drinks are slightly pricey, but you are getting entertainment. Bands are all day which is great for those who want daytime or earlier evening experience. Bands all switch at 10 pm from early shift to late shift so keep in mind nothing is playing from10pm for about 45 minutes. Cheapest parking is at Library parking garage which maxes out at $20/day.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten September 30, 2023
- CarrieRice, Minnesota39 contributionsVegas with a TwangLOTS of fun! I duped this area Vegas with a twang. Bars and novelty shops galore. Bars actually take out a front window so you can see and hear the live band. The street was busy (October) but we expected that. Don't forget to walk on the side streets. These bars are less busy but still very fun. A safe area to walk. We noticed the street does not come alive until after 5pm. It got busier as the night went on. We were there from 4:30pm to 10:30pm. There are also resturants but we did not eat in this area. Expect to pay $25-$70 for parking. We were 3 blocks off and paid $30.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten October 17, 2023
- John CVancouver Island, Canada460 contributionsWild and amazing place - music - music - musicImportant facts - I am over 60 and I love live music. Our first night downtown Nashville - I nearly froze from all the sensory stimulation. Our second and third nights were much more enjoyable. Love the bars and great music - music everywhere. Too bad so much of the drinks and food is served in plastic. Make sure you do an evening walk across the walking bridge.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten December 7, 2023
- Travel30 contributions2nd time to Nashville but would never go on a weekend. This was our 2nd trip to Nville. Fun trip but noticed the same songs among most bands no matter which venue. The homeless with the signs are even more annoying and why the City does not crack down on this issue and allowing this problem to get worse in a the few years since we've been downtown is surprising. It was so crowded and we were there Mon to Thurs. I would never go on the weekends. No place for kids (at least Vegas has a lot more kid friendly places for kids, Nashville not) Watch for cars while at crossing walks on Broadway because some drivers not paying attention. Fun place to visit for some good music and lively entertainment, just don't go on weekends.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten April 19, 2024
- RandyRossRidgetown, Canada12,628 contributionsWorth A Visit! The third place that we visited on our first full day in Nashville was downtown. Some of it has changed since 1997 but much has not. This is the only place that we had to pay for parking ($25.00 US). That said, it was quite a busy place on a Monday afternoon. We wanted to eat lunch at Hatie B's but there was a long lineup (over an hour) so we chose the Blanco Cocina + Cantina restaurant instead. We ate at Hatie B's the next day at one of their other locations.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten April 30, 2024
