Welcome to Loughborough’s Tabletop Gaming Society, home of all things dice, cards, and miniatures!
We are a fun and welcoming community who love tabletop gaming in all its forms. From the famous Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) to the notorious Settlers of Catan, with an active Magic the Gathering (MtG) community and a growing wargaming group, we have the lot. We have an ever-expanding range of board games, and we are open to suggestions for all of our sections, for which there are five:
- Board gaming (self-explanatory… no its not just snakes and ladders :p)
- Card gaming (namely MtG and other systems e.g. YuGiOh and Digimon)
- Role playing games (RPG campaigns and oneshots in D&D and other systems)
- Megagames (large social games such as Werewolves, and our own Terra Galactis)
- Wargames (miniatures fight in battles, such as in Warhammer 40k).

Our main gaming night is every Thursday in G-block, and we have socials such as pub nights every other week. We also have many one-off events throughout the year such as one-shots, our long-form board games, and our megagames.
As another perk for joining, room bookings are available for members interested in using our space over the weekend, such as for RPG campaigns or for model painting.
MEMBERSHIP AND NEWCOMERS
If you just want to come along and try us out, then please do! There's no pressure to pay TGS membership during your first few weeks, and we'd rather you just come along and enjoy the hobby with us. However, if you like what we do and would like to become an official member, hit the button below to join up.
To make the society more accessible with the cost of living crisis, we are trialling a reduced standard membership for all students of £5 a year versus previous years. Associate memberships for alumni, staff and non-students) are also £5, as before. Memberships help the society to run, so we can invest in games and assets. In exchange, you get free gaming and social events for the whole year, subsidised ticketed events and access to TGS stash!
