We are Towers Hall, a hall of residence at Loughborough University. Built in 1965, the blue, high and mighty has stood noble for decades and will continue to do so for many freshers to come!

If you’re joining us here in Towers, you can guarantee you’ll be met with the warm towers spirit! The tallest hall with the widest appeal, Towers is the hall that embodies the lesson of not judging a book by its cover. With recently refurbished rooms, which are one of the biggest on campus, a double bed, and a view that would make the owner of the Shard jealous, Towers is truly a great choice for your halls of residence.

Located a 5-minute walk away from the students' union, a 2-minute walk from Powerbase gym, and a mere 15-minute walk to town, Towers is a hall that is well placed on campus. The main hub of lecture theatres for most students is a 2-minute walk away and with a hall so tall, you certainly won't struggle to find your way home. A brand new Dining Hall and Common Room is what you will be arriving at, and I can ensure you that it all looks brilliant. However, besides the excellent facilities, the hall community in Towers is what causes it to be the hall that is often the most reapplied to by older students. With constant social events, during the night and during the day, Towers will provide constant entertainment throughout the year and provide you with some truly unforgettable memories. As one tall building, with two tower blocks, you will be put onto floors living in an integrated hall of 310 students, so socialising could not be easier!

Towers has always been a hall to get stuck in with what the Students' Union and the university have to offer, so you will receive full support in what you wish to do. We have a student-run committee of 19 students and will ensure that you have a fantastic year as well as a great freshers week!

What are Hall Subs? 
Hall Subs are a membership fee that goes towards arranging events and activities within your Hall of Residence for the whole (or part of a*) year.

There are a number of different Hall Sub Packages including: 
First Year Hall Subs, Returners' Hall Subs, Affiliate Hall Subs, and Single Semester Subs.
