We stayed here before and it was a great experience. I always recommend here for my friends. Many of them stayed here. Pool was really big and the jacuzzi is very relaxing. Rooms are clean and good. Maybe a little small for a big foreign couple, so i suggest u get a bigger room.

Really friendly and nice staff, Good temperatur on the water in the shower, Good food, Good music and Good wifi... Securityofficer. You just get a little bit pampered like you get at some more "classy" hotels...

Kind staff and the Boss, its everywhere in Philippines, i liked the place, they have an Airport pickup, so look for the man with the board, you don't have to inform they will be there for you, so caring, the rooms was not bad, you get for what you pay, the food too was good, so many restaurants close by, and cheep, night club close by too

We were there 2 weeks and we loved it. It was nice and quiet there. Our minihouse was next to the pool. There were really nice and kind workers. Service was good- they clean your room every day if you want to. I really recommended this place! :)

Good place with lovely staff, it has a good sized pool but only 4 loungers which is a shame. The rooms are clean and tidy and so are the bathrooms but the beds are a bit small 3/4 double so it's cosy but the a/c makes up for it.
Food was really good with a wide choice , breakfast was equally as good but wasn't included in the room rate.
We booked a few trips from here through the hotel and they all arrived when they should of on good buses and with English speaking guides, all in all a very good stay

Amenities are fairly basic, although there was air conditioning in the room. Rooms are small and the furniture and fittings is a bit tired looking.

That said, it was spotlessly clean and the air con worked very well. This is a budget hotel, at least by European/North American standards, and you get what you pay for.

Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. If I had to stay again in Puerto Princesa town I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights on arrival to Puerto princessa. And 1 night on return from El Nido. It was about a 5 minute journey from airport in tricycle (50php). We were welcomed warmly by the staff on arrivals and throughout our whole stay. The staff's English is fantastic!

We want to make a special thanks to the restaurant staff who we loved - Tin Tin, Cheng and Ailleen! And also Chad on reception.

We will be back :)

I would definitely go back to this place. It is very near to the airport. The rooms are clean and of average size. They serve delicious food which I enjoyed aside from swimming in the pool. Their staff were friendly and very honest! I lost my earrings and wasn't sure where I'd put it. I reported the incident to the front desk just once and without any follow up. I thought I already lost it but upon checking out, my precious earrings was returned to me! Very thankful to the one who found it and to all the staff in Blue Lagoon, until next visit! =)

The hotel/mini resort is located just off the main road. (literally a 2 minute walk down a beaten track). Pretty much a decent low budget hotel with cottages surrounding the pool, which is clean! :) The cottages are pretty much standard: queen size bed (which in European terms is a large single bed), mini bar, a/c and ceiling fan, toilet stuff etc. It's all pretty clean in there. I stayed in room 24 which is essentially part of a block of 6 rooms. The upper lock wouldn't lock from the outside which made me a bit cautious, but one word to reception and they sent housekeeping and maintenance round to check it: they couldn't fix it but I was at least content that there was CCTV that was pointed right at my front door. Breakfast and drinks are generally cheap and the staff, especially the bar staff were really friendly. FOH guy called Clint was able to organise our van ride to El Nido with no hassle (thanks). Just a word on that: if you haven't booked a van already to El Nido, then book one at the airport when you land as they were charge PHP500 and this hotel charged PHP700. The drive is around 5/6 hours depending on how Louis Hamilton your driver think he is. As there were three of us and didn't want to travel with 9 other strangers we hired the van for PHP5000: was pretty decent at the trip took shorter than expected.

Anyway, sorry to digress from actually reviewing this hotel: I've read a few previous reviews about this hotel and some people have stated that it's down a long dirt track; that there are ants etc... In all fairness, Palawan is set in tropical climates and insects and lizards are all over the place. You have to expect these kinda creatures if you're staying in a tropical country. ***I'm not saying that this hotel is swarming with ants or geckos***. The long dirt road is actually about 200mtrs long and can be walked down in under 2 mins: just bring a torch as it's not lit that well.
