· It's descent and the price is not bad for the physical condition of the room. Even though the staff is not that attentive to the guest, the owner (male) greeted me the morning I am checking out. I love the aircon, hotwater, there's available TV with cable and very good WIFI.

· On my second evening and during breakfast everyday the staff do not greet the guest even good morning. Even during MUR they did not dish-out my food leftover. I have to take it out myself in the restaurant but still nobody greeted me and take the soupbowl in my hand. In the comfort rooms you can see molds in the lavatory sink cabinet. I can also hear the loud voices of Caucasians from the nearby rooms. But I've got the room for a good price anyway so I think this is what its worth. Overall inspite of the negatives its not bad.

The hotel was very nice, small room, with double bed, small stock refrigerator, and bathroom. Restaurant on sight, and a wonderful swimming pool. Not far from the local mall, and laundry and bank. All in walking distance, if you like to walk. Staff was very friendly and nice.

Room tip: Choose ground floor room, or one of Cabins around the pool.

The hotel is very, very basic, but the price is very cheap. The room was simple but mostly clean with a good air-conditioner and fridge. The pool is great!
The highlight of this hotel is their reception staff. My tour was cancelled and they were very helpful in rescheduling two tours next day so in case cancelled again I’d have a back up.
Hotel transfer was only 25php when I was there and took stress out of getting to and from airport.
Definitely upgrade if there is more than one of you as rooms and beds are small but as a solo traveller I was fine. Shower was dirty with mould on the window and higher tiles. It didn’t bother me too much but I imagine it’s the same in every room.

At first, we were very excited because to be honest their pool was really nice. Their villas, surrounded by plants and trees will make you feel relax. However, when we checked in on our designated room, we were disappointed because there were ants on the beds, which makes us feel uncomfortable to sleep, I feel itchy and paranoid that ants were biting me. Comfort room was dark, if you are washing your face on the sink, you have to adjust because sink is too small. Only one mirror is installed, a bit small located in the cr. No hair dryer installed on the room but you can borrow on the reception, they only have 3 hair dryer on the hotel so when I tried to borrow, the girls said, all blowers were already borrowed. Receptionists were okay, but staffs on their restaurants were kinda rude and unapproachable. Everytime we were asking something like hot water or glass or drinking water, we feel like they were mad. We stayed there for 2nights btw. Breakfast is not free.

I booked Blue Lagoon thru Agoda. Although they offer airport transfer for a minimal fee of 20Php, unlike other hotel (which is free by the way) , they will not ask you if you need one so you better tell them earlier otherwise you will
have to grab overpriced taxi/tricycle. It is near the airport, dive center and restaurant. Very accessible. The room was pretty neat for the price although wifi cannot be accessed inside the room, you have to stay outside or in the bar area. What you see on pictures is what you see in real. The tricycle near the hotel is pricey, they charge 40 pesos unlike when you just walk a little to the main road tricycles will only charge you 10 pesos. I like everything else like the pool area, food and drink is okay but overpriced, has small ref although didnt use. Receptionist are nice as well.

Due to an extended trip to Palawan, I decided to book our stay in this hotel after our tiring but memorable escapade in El Nido. After finding their phone numbers online, I called them an reserved a room for us. In an instant, the room was reserved.

We were placed in one of the rooms located at the 2nd floor in one of the buildings that the hotel has.

PROS:
-This is approx 5-10 mins away from the airport
-A quiet place as the hotel is located at a place surrounded by trees
-Clean hotel surroundings
-Near known restaurants in Palawan like Kalui and Artisans
-Has cheap shuttle services from and to the airport
-Has a nice swimming pool at the center of the property
-Our room as shared balcony with other rooms where you can smoke - convenient
-Has hot and cold water
-Has small fridge in the room
-Not so bad for the price - actually it is quite inexpensive
-Has restaurant at the hotel front

CONS:
-If you prefer to have convenience all the way through, then this is not the hotel you're looking for. The road to the hotel is unpaved and sometimes muddy when it rains
-We stayed for 2 night but the room was not cleaned after the 1st night - too bad
-Expensive food - coffee alone will cost you P50/small cup. I bet the food is expensive too
-Bad room interior but hey this is what you paid for isn't it
-The bathrooms window has bee hive - quite scary but not alarming

If you want to book you stay in Puerto Princesa for a cheap price, I may suggest you look for another property. This is not really the place I can suggest for the price range of P1500 - P2000/night. You deserve better.

Room tip: Maybe the bungalows will be a good option but I haven't tried it.
