Best steaks and hamburgers in town - salad comes with meals - great price and service. wide range of offerings & portions are big. Informal atmosphere, friendly service. Very popular with expats, tourists, and also local business people. Try it and you won't be dissapointed.

Whoever said that gourmet meals are served small, and that large servings mean not so quality food should come to Artisan's and see that excellent food can come in large portions with excellent service leading to one of Puerto Princesa's best dining experiences. One of our favorites is the quesadilla. The steaks are perfectly cooked the way you want it. The parmesan chicken is out of this world. The Norwegian salmon steak is to die for. Full plates. Full satisfaction. Truly worth trying.

A small quirky little restaurant close to the town center with a great ambiance. You are welcomed as soon as you enter by friendly staff and made to feel welcome. The menu is very extensive with enormous portions you won`t leave here hungry! The deep fried camenbert with homemade cherry sauce is to die for and the burgers are the best and for the chilli heads there is a selection of sauces with various degrees of heat. It is definately a place to try. It is our go to place when ever we`re in town.

After hearing about this place from multiple locals, my tour group arrived for dinner and requested separate checks at the very beginning of the meal which the server did take care of, thank you Sir, much appreciated. What is not appreciated is when they don’t accept Credit cards and don’t want to give me a large amount of change back from my bill when I am waiting a very long time after everyone else had already gotten their change. How is that good business practice? Did you think I would just forget you owed me enough money to return two more times?? Their food menu is large, one of my friends got a curry dish he said was good, another the pulled pork sandwich with fries and said his was good also. I too got a sandwich which is listed as receiving fries and coleslaw on the side, did my sandwich come with fries and coleslaw?? It must still be with the missing change that I never received. After my entire group left while I waited for my change, suddenly my original bill and cash could not be found. I was asked to provide my receipt (which I was never given a copy of for myself) so that my proper change could be given to me. Eventually, my server told the employee counting the cash drawer what I ordered, incorrect, lesser change was given to me and I was shown the door. The amount of money I was owed wasn’t a lot but is enough to get lunch many other places around so it’s the principle of the matter. Honest mistake or not, why would I recommend this place to any future tourists or anyone else for that matter?? I wouldn’t, you’ve been warned.

Sorry to hear this, the resto has a credit card unit, on time the internet is unstable only then it's not possible. It nothing to do with 'good business practice', and very much about 3rd party issues, form internet, unstable power, poor water pressure, you should know many of the concerns as USAID, your group and you deals with such issues. I am a little confused as we don't sell sandwiches though, and that was two of your three orders.it turn out you ordered a hotdog, semantics I guess. Are you saying the you were short changed by one of the staff? Can you describe the staff member or have the name, as this is a first. How much was the amount short? Please read below as I have followed up: I have since asked the staff and am actually taken aback by what you wrote more so being from USAID. You stated the food of your group was good, apart from your as it was missing fies and slaw, so the sole issue was with you and you state 'You have been warned' to the world, wow! 1. Firstly, you ordered a hot dog, it does not come with fries or slaw, if you were reasonable, you could have asked, and I am sure the waiter would have showed you the menu again. So advice, if you have a problem, fix it at the point of the problem rather than being empowered with entitlement on a keyboard. The insult thereafter made 'the change must be with the missing fies and slaw' is harsh as if this is something the establishment does as a practice- see point 5. 2. You waited longer because your receipt was misplaced, human error, in fact in the confusion the staff thought you were paid out. 3. The wait staff. Stated the following: Staff - Sir, his bill was lost and dining staff thought that he's bill was already settled, so they make a new order slip which has the arty topped (Hotdog) plus the cocktail, but they charged him with the strawberry mojito (225) but he ordered the caipirinha (200). 4. The lost receipt as they had you presumed bill out hence asking you for your receipt, the original human error. 5. However it turns out you ordered two cocktails, one for the person a female I believe sitting next to you, so you were billed as per separate bills, each bill is from the person ordering. That person ordered herself a second cocktail that she asked for. Again I will stress, 'you ordered' two cocktails, the missing money was you ordering two drinks. 6. I feel that you have written this in anger and insinuated the staff are all bad, some conspiracy just for you as we rarely ever have disputes, and 100% of the time it has been either miscommunication as in here or human error, it happens. 7. The sarcasm of the change could get a meal in many other places and argue on principles is so tainted and a low blow moreover when you cause the problem. I suggest you read the menu and don't order for other people when you specify separate bills then make a international complaint (TripAdvisor). God save USAID if people like yourself are supposed to be helping others by being vindictive and petty. 8. Moreover you close with 'Honest mistake or not, why would I recommend this place to any future tourists or anyone else for that matter?? I wouldn’t, you’ve been warned. Not is this just all about 'YOU' but you damage business, workers and revenues, weather it's a honest mistake or not' think about it? Your got it wrong but need to tarnish a whole establishment based on you being overly entitled! That is just such a dick move to put it bluntly, daily we have USAID people in the establishment, just last night, they all are very nice, smiling and don't seem to have the same issue you do. 9. To be transparent, provide your name and details and I will review (complain) you to the administration of USAID and how you conduct yourself to SME's, it's workers, economic damages with accusations that we're manifested from your own ability to simply poorly communicate after setting the ground rules of a separated bills. R// From the Staff and Management, grow up.

Found this restaurant on our last night, much better than other restaurants we had tried - Kalui, Kilabuch etc. Book ahead as only 25 seat restaurant. We had an amazing cheese & ham plate with condiments to start and white fish & scallops with pasta for main. Wine by the glass was really nice. Their own hot sauce was very tasty, with different heat levels! Mixture of locals & westerners in the restaurant and has a much more quality feel than most other local restaurants that we tried. Perfect for families and children as has a large menu and other diners were eating burgers and quesadillas , which looked good. Portion sizes very generous. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had a really nice dining experience at Artisans during our trip to Puerto Princesa. The restaurant had a relaxed and calm atmosphere, and the talented guitarist playing live music and singing created a lovely ambiance. We ordered different dishes, and both were pleasantly surprised. My partner is vegetarian and chose a delicious falafel burger, while I tried their hella hula burger with pineapple and prosciutto ham - the flavors were amazing! Additionally, we were presented with a variety of exciting, homemade hot sauces that really elevated the meal. The service was impeccable. The staff spoke good English, were accommodating and helpful, and provided great recommendations for both food and drinks. They were also good at explaining which dishes were suitable for my vegetarian partner. The cocktails we ordered were also really good and contributed to a perfect evening. The pleasant live music and delicious food made this one of our restaurant highlights of our stay in Palawan. We were very satisfied with our experience at Artisans and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others visiting Puerto Princesa. It's a great place to enjoy a delicious meal in a comfortable atmosphere!

This is not my first review of Artisans in Puerto. This is easily my favourite resto in Puerto Princesa. It is great to see that throughout all of the challenges covid has thrown that Artisans has adapted and continues to create new exciting dishes. Their steaks for me are easily the best in town and with add ons like foie grais and lobster tails this shows why this establishment will stand the test of time by offering quality meals at reasonable prices. Bravo!

Cute and very good grub. We had lamb shank falling off the bone, excellent salmon steaks(s), a perfect Ribeye steak, lamb tenderloin to die for. Kudos to this unexpected find and still uoholding the flag and in fine spitits. Will be back for sure, and heard they are expanding Feb 2021 with new features, so very excited. See you soon Artisans🥰

I've been to Artisans with newfound (as in I just met them hours ago) friends the first time, then for Valentine's day with my Mom and the kids the second time. On both occasions, the food did not disappoint. Even my friends from Manila were amazed by the generous portions and the sumptuous food. Needless to say, everyone in the family enjoyed our Valentine meal. However, you shouldn't come here hungry. My visits were two years apart because of the pandemic and the rather slow service was an issue both times. Based on my experience, it was a matter of not having a manager direct the overall flow. It was more evident during the busy Valentine Day dinner service. For lovers, the wait may have been a nice opportunity; but diners waiting for their chance to be seated probably felt differently. I'm glad we were not them but it was also not fun to watch. Once they resolve the workflow, it'll be super! With all sincerity, I would be happy to help in my limited capacity.

A fun restaurant, a little flaky, with great food. I had tikka masala, my friend had a lamb and rice dish. They had Tex mex on the menus, and burgers, fish, other entrees. Side salad was huge. People who shared the table with us had a dessert that looked fantastic.

On our one night in Puerto Princesa, our family of four enjoyed the Artisan's relaxing ambience (with a nice singer!), superb service (friendly & efficient!) and gorgeous food (2 orders of linguine with parmesan cheese and 2 dishes of correctly cooked lamb & tenderloin steaks, i.e. medium rare) and good red wine. The patron was also very hands-on, nice and explained the background of the restaurant. A place to remember!!! Thank you.

Having lived in Palawan more than ten years I had tried many of the restaurants and this is one of my favorites. Food and atmosphere are just stunning and owners Kevin and May go out of their way to welcome you. I loved the ceasar salad and could not believe just how big it was ! Can't wait to visit again soon

If you're craving a proper steak cooked exactly as you want it this is the place to go. Equally the rest of the menu is imaginative, well cooked and well presented and there is a good selection of wines to go with it. I've been coming to Palawan now for 16 years and this restaurant ranks with the best we have been to. Just be aware that at the moment you will need cash which isn't really a problem as long as you are prepared.

Absolutely AMAZING/OUTSTANDING food. Way above phillipine Standart. Food was not only delicious - fast served - low price for that quality of food - served !HOT! and fast. We had only 1 day to stay while waiting for a flight and ate both meals here (dinner and lunch the next day). Everything served on the tables looked great. Sweet and kind staff, caring owner. Loved it and definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

Absolutely the finest dining experience in Puerto Princesa. I have never been disappointed with a meal or the service here. They have Steaks, Lamb, Mexican dishes, Pastas, Salmon & other seafood as well as scrumptious desserts & a full bar.
