We chose this hotels because of the consistently fantastic reviews and we werent disappointed. From the exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff , to the wonderful breakfast and the gorgeous room, our expectations were far exceeded. Our room (junior suite) was very spacious and great for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It looked and smelt like it had only recently been finished. Exceptionally clean and well appointed.The hotel is located just at the end of Las Ramblas, within easy walking distance to just about everything. Tip -If there are only 2 of you the airport bus stops 100 yards from the hotel , but any more than that a taxi from the airport will cost the same. Thank you H10 Universitat you made our holiday. We will return.

The hotel and staff are amazing. The rooms are spacious and really comfy. The bed is The best I have slept in and the pillows are wonderful. The rooftop terrace bar is great for relaxing after a hard day's sightseeing. The location is brilliant with 2 metro stops really close and the square to pick up the hop on hop off busses is a short walk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops.

This hotel is just fabulous. In terms of location it’s absolutely fab located in the city center , which all the main sites are within walkable distance and there is a metro right across the road . The rooms were good and well furnished, with amazing water pressure in the shower . The breakfast was rich and delicious and had a variety of dishes . The top notch of it all was the roof bar with amazing views of the city and great cocktails. The service was outstandingly friendly and helpful and very attentive. Good location, just down Ronda Universitat from Placa de Catalunya. Walkable to sites, restaurants, airport bus, and equal distance between two metro stops. Welcome glass of cava in the lobby was a friendly gesture, staff at front desk spoke fluent English, and the morning breakfast was a great value. We liked the rooftop deck with pretty views, but the night we went up couldn't seem to get service. And our room and bathroom were tiny. Minor problems, and easily overcome.

The H10 hotels are reasonably priced, well appointed rooms that are clean, fresh and comfortable. The Universitat was a block from the Ramblas, a major boulevard in the city that provides a cultural experience of languages, food and commerce. Sidewalk cafes, strolling, shaded walking space and great people-watching location. The hotel serves a complete breakfast allowing visitors to prepare for a full day of tourist activity. There is a bar atop the hotel but is is not handicap accessible, which prevented our party from visiting it. The staff was attentive and personable. They provided information or help whenever asked. Having stayed in two H10 properties, we noticed the use of plates, china, to decorate the public areas, which was engaging, crisp and welcoming.

Great location, great staff and really nice rooms. We took the bus from the airport (A2) took about 25 minutes in traffic and is 3 stops to universitat costing 6.95 per person and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. On the return we took a taxi (bolt) which was just under 20 euro. Hotel staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Celia who recommended us places to go. We joined the H10 club on booking which gives you a free cocktail or drink each at their rooftop bar. Views were great as were the cocktails! The other H10 hotel is about a 3 minute walk away so there isn’t much difference in it (but this one has the rooftop bar). The rooms are spacious, bed is huge and had a terrace also. It was for my birthday and the team sent a bottle of cava which was very so nice of them. We did a lot of site seeing, got a taxi to the beach after lots of walking. The market in la ramblas says open until 8.30 but we got there at 7 and a lot was closed/closing. We visited Monk and Paradiso which were amazing hidden cocktail bars and had the best paella ever at El Congrejo Loco. All 3 are definitely worth the visit and all recommended by the amazing Celia. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were given a 5 star friendly service by all members of staff. This hotel is by far a five star with excellent beds bed linen, espresso machine in the room, excellent selection at breakfast and much more….
The roof top bar is great to either sip a glass of fizz before heading out in the evening or after a long day sightseeing just sit and relax.
I travelled to the city on my own with two children (7yrs & 10yrs) and we felt safe at from the moment I arrived.
Best location as It is minutes away from Playa Catalunya square which you can find the metro (underground) that’s very easy and straightforward to use Also the sightseeing buses that operate from 9am daily.
We stayed in a Junior Suite and there was lots of space and will definitely stay at this hotel again without a doubt when travelling to the city in the future.
Best hotel for location, value, star rating and most of all the friendly staff.

We stayed at H10 Universitat for four nights and it was amazing! My 2 year old son has several food allergies and the kind management and staff ensured there was plenty of options for him for breakfast. They went out of their way to order soya yoghurt just for him and made sure he had hot food options such as mushrooms and sausages that didn’t contain any egg or dairy. The breakfast itself is excellent with lots of options for both hot and continental. It has something for everyone and I recommend it!
Our room was the junior suite deluxe and it was so spacious, clean and had everything you could need. The shower was lovely and the room was cleaned everyday and ample towels provided. Complimentary water was great and re-stocked everyday.
Overall, the best hotel which had friendly staff and everything you could need.

Firstly the rooms are extremely well appointed they are very comfortable beds and well a kept bathroom is nicely done. There is a coffee machine in your room a bottle of water to start with. A reasonable priced mini bar. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was brilliant my wife and I are not early risers and we’re very impressed that the breakfast choices were all still available at 10.30 and they pride themselves in keeping a full display. Personally I could not fault this hotel the location is great in a quiet part of the city centre. With many restaurants nearby. The roof top bar is very good too and reasonably priced. We had a lovely few days here. The hotel was lovely and clean and smelt really nice as soon as we entered making it feel really welcoming after coming in off the busy street. Our room as kept impeccably clean at all times and felt very homely and comfortable. The food at breakfast was always very fresh and tasty and there was a good choice. We also went to the rooftop bar which had nice views over the city and very nice food. But the thing that absolutely made the whole experience was the staff. They were so warm and welcoming, always spoke to us when they saw us at breakfast or entering and leaving the hotel. They also spoke excellent English which was really helpful.
