Stayed here in December as a family of four. we had two rooms. Our rooms were on the corners of the building and were VERY large for a hotel. they were great. the bathroom was excellent and large. They provided all the ammenities you could want including a coffee machine/ water daily and biscuits. the bedding was good quality and comfortable. Housekeeping does a great job here. The breakfast was great, they had gluten free bread. Gluten free cereal would have been nice. The waitress staff were very outstanding. Great location, handy to everything. Would recommend.

We were welcomed and given our room keys.The room was clean and well appointed and very comfortable. There is a nice bar downstairs. We slept very well. The cups are for coffee therefore very small and there are no tea bags provided. The breakfast is very good having a huge range for the continental breakfast and the full English if you prefer, it's self service. All the staff were very helpful. On the the roof there is another bar with a varied view of the city. It's a great hotel in a very good location. The Areobus stops in the square 50 yards away the 3rd stop from the airport. In the square you can also get the city tour bus. We had a great time.

First time we have stayed at H10 Universitat, although we have stayed at H10 hotels before. This one didn’t disappoint either. Lovely reception when we arrived, the reception staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean with a wonderful smell when you walk in, I would love to be able to buy the scent they use. Our room was on the small side, not much space, however we were not too bothered as we were only sleeping in it, it was exceptionally clean and kept clean throughout our stay, so a big thank you to the cleaning staff. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice of both cold and hot food. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated about 150 metres from the Metro which makes it very easy to travel around the city. We would definitely stay here again.

A very enjoyable stay at the H10. From the moment I walked through the door it all went so well. From being able to check in 4 hours early to just the overall attitude of staff wanted to assist you with anything at all. Was nice to receive a free cocktail but time didn’t allow me to avail of this kind offer. Your reception staff are a credit to you.They always had a smile and hello as you walked by. The room was very comfortable and had all of the facilities I needed. The breakfast was very enjoyable and there was plenty of it. Different varieties of pastries and also hot options. Plus a wide range of fruits and yogurts. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Barcelona which I hope will be very soon. Thanks to all of the team at the H10 Universitat. Charming city centre hotel close to Plaza Catalunya. The design is quirky and fun and we had a great stay here.
The room itself was spacious and had many nice features - nespresso machine, plenty of bathroom amenities (e.g. shaving kit). The King size bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was great quality with a lot of choice, especially loved the freshly squeezed orange juice.
We had a room at the back so the view was of a car park but it was quiet at night. In the weekday morning though there was some 8:30 am construction but hard to avoid in a busy city like Barcelona.

We booked this hotel for a 3 day trip for my birthday. On entering, the clean smell was lovely, the entrance was lit by fairy lights and the staff very welcoming and spoke great English. We were 20 mins early and received a welcome glass of champagne whilst we waited. Lovely touch after our journey from Scotland.
The room was lovely and clean and a great size for a twin right in the heart of a city. Lovely modern bathroom with all of the toiletries provided. Nice Nespresso coffee machine and we were also provided a kettle for our tea! Good sound proofing for a room overlooking a busy, Main Street. Had a great sleep. Lovely bedding/mattress. Lots of nice tapas bars around corner.
Hotel is in a great location. 5 mins walk from Las Ramblas which takes you quickly into the Gothic Quarter, Jewish quarter and to Barcelona Cathdral.
A few mins walk from Passeig de Gràcia, with its lovely shops and Casa Batllo within walking distance.
Ideally positioned for metro. We used Passeig de Gràcia metro (a few mins walk) to visit Sagrada Familia and the beach area of La Barceloneta. Only a couple of stops and so easy!
A welcome cocktail on the rooftop bar was a lovely touch. Lovely little bar, but a bit windy when we arrived. The olives and club sandwich were lovely.
Breakfast was amazing! Absolutely great range of continental, yoghurts, croissants, Spanish bacon, scrambled eggs and so much more. I’m usually put off by a buffet style breakfast, but it was really lovely and set us up for the day. Also, a lovely ambience and nicely designed breakfast area. The staff were also really welcoming at breakfast, which was very much appreciated.
We would most definitely recommend this hotel and will return if we are in Barcelona again. It made my birthday special! Thank you.

Really well located in the centre of Barcelona. If you’re happy to walk you can get to almost anywhere, otherwise metro station is only 1-2 minute walk.
Really nice touches - welcome drink upon arrival, rooftop bar is nice too.
Be careful which room you are given. First floor was extremely noisy, could hear the lift going and also lots of shouting and noise.
Basic rooms are EXTREMELY small, not enough space to open my suitcase on the floor. Definitely could not stay in this room type any longer than one night. Junior suites are very nice, spacious and great feel.
Breakfast is ok, although I would say it’s more of a continental than full breakfast. A lot of food items are cold though.
Overall very pleasant, would stay again.

We picked this hotel after reading other reviews and for the location. It was a great hotel, easy to get to from the airport on the Aerobus and just a 5 minute walk when you arrive at Placa Catalunya.
We were greeted by a very helpful receptionist who let us check in early and helped us with any queries we had. The room was large and clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were a bit cold on the first night as the bed covers are very thin, but found an extra duvet in the wardrobe which solved the problem.
The breakfast was buffet service and had plenty of choice for everyone. We went to the roof top bar one afternoon and enjoyed a cocktail sitting in the sun and enjoying the view. The cocktail was well made and the staff again very helpful and chatty.
The hotel is in the perfect location for all sightseeing and restaurants. We walked everywhere with the exception of Park Guell, which we decided to take the metro to..
We would definitely stay here again if in Barcelona.

This was my wife and I's first time in Barcelona and we booked a superior room room with a balcony at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff here are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is well maintained and in a good location with lots to do in short walking distance. The rooms are of a reasonable size, kept very clean and serviced daily. The street can be noisy at times but with the balcony door closed it was hardly noticeable. To be honest we liked the busy rumble gave rise to an afternoon snooze.... The breakfast was excellent with lots to chose from. There is a security man in the foyer who always welcomes you back from your days exploration and ready to help where he can. All in all we will be staying here again when next in Barcelona for us you cannot go wrong here.
