The building is located in the Raval Quarter, in the Ciutat Vella district. It is superbly located on the Av. Drassanes, 23-25, which is in the old city center, right in the heart of Barcelona, a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas, Port Vell, the cruise terminals at the port, the Maremagnum leisure area and the Paral.Lel theatre district. Andante Hotel is a 3* establishment, practical, modern and inexpensive, with 134 rooms over 10 floors, with different types available: Doubles, Triples, Family, Singles, with a Balcony, with Panoramic Views and for the disabled. All rooms are exterior rooms. The hotel provides an outdoor plunge pool, free Wi-Fi, Internet corner 24h, luggage storage room, late check-out room, reception 24h and gym. It also offers buffet breakfast with "show cooking". It has a large terrace and a self-service microwave and vending machines for drinks, snacks and sandwiches.
All our rooms have been renovated in July 2021.

Hotel and bedrooms were very clean and modern and the staff were very helpful and welcome. The location is fantastic- just a 15 minute bus ride to the nearest beach and a 5 minute walk to the metro station and La Rambla. Breakfast was ideal. It had fresh bread, yoghurt, orange juice, muffins and pastries, scrambled egg, bacon, etc. definitely would recommend!!!!

Excellent central hotel, 5 mins from Las Ramblas and the marina. Staff friendly and professional. Rooms were very clean, ours at the back of the hotel were quiet but not the best view! Great facilities, lovely roof top pool and sunbathing deck plus a bar with great views over Barcelona. Check in and out was fast and the storage room for luggage was very safe ( lockers). Its a trendy, eco friendly hotel and we will definitely stay again next time we visit Barcelona.

We stayed at Andante for 4 nights during May half term in a family room (3 of us) and would thoroughly recommend it. The staff are friendly & helpful, the hotel & rooms are all clean and modern. Breakfast was a great start to the day with plenty of options. It is set in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Las Ramblas and about 20 minutes from the harbour. Nice rooftop area too with great views over the city and a nice place to relax - pool is OK but very small, nice to sit on the side dipping feet and enjoying the view. Overall a great place to have as a base to explore the city. Totally recommend and hope to be back!

Had a great stay as a solo guest in a single/twin bed room at Andante. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool was great, and the room was clean and comfortable - it was actually a little larger than I expected too. The location is not right in the hub of the tourist area so is a bit more peaceful, but is close to metro and easy walking distance from the Gothic Quarter. Excellent value for money and would both recommend and stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Andante Hotel, for five nights altogether on two different occasions. We found the staff at reception always very helpful and obliging, especially Albert and Arevik. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The location is excellent for seeing the historic section of Barcelona, especially. The closeness of the port was very convenient in our case. Perhaps the lack of a complete bar service is a negative aspect, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The solarium on the roof is very enjoyable for viewing the city and there is a limited bar service available there. It is functional and the committment to a better environment is very recommendable.

Overall, we enjoyed staying at the hotel very much. The location was very convenient and the front desk staff were very helpful in recommending restaurants and helping us get around the city. The room was simply designed and comfortable for an extended stay.

Fantastic hotel. Great and friendly staff. We had adjoining rooms (2adults and 2 children) and the set up was perfect. The staff at reception were always friendly and gave great recommendations for places to eat and sights to see.
The breakfast options were really good and set in a nice area.
The hotel is in a great location and has a lovely infinity pool which has some of the best views of the city, especially at night. Would definitely return to this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough.

I can fully recommend this hotel.
Our room looked exactly like the pictures here and on the hotel's website. The room was perfect. The sockets with USB ports were very practical. The curtains darkened the room very well. Setting up with shelves instead of a cupboard is clever and has proven to be very useful. Everything is immediately accessible and you can't forget anything when you leave. The bathroom is small but modernly furnished. It was a bit difficult to set the right water temperature in the shower. The breakfast buffet was great. Fresh juices, cereals, bacon, scrambled eggs and fried vegetables, melon, pineapple, various cheeses and cold cuts, donuts, muffins and croisants. Plus coffee, tea, water, milk and fresh juices. We didn't miss anything and everything was delicious. On the roof there is a small swimming pool and a few chairs. The pool is really very small, but if you like, you can get a drink of your choice from one of the machines (there is also a microwave) and enjoy it on the roof.
The location was ideal for us. It is not far on foot to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. With the subway nearby we were able to easily reach all other sights.
The hotel staff were without exception very friendly and we always received helpful information at reception.
Although the beds were a bit shabby, the hotel received the highest rating from us. Everything else was fine and we really enjoyed our stay.

First thing was the staff was outstanding helping us with anything regarding our stay including making restaurant reservations and recommendations. The room was clean and was nicely appointed. The breakfast was a full breakfast with plenty of variety to fuel up for a day of site seeing. And the roof bar and pool have AMAZING views of the whole city and were a great way to relax, unwind and cool off before dinnner. The only issue was there was an occasional element of shady characters in the area of the hotel, but we never felt unsafe. Amazing customer service, a tranquil setting and only a couple minute walk from La Rambla equals a highly recommended hotel!

We have been staying here for 4 nights and can safely say that it is an amazing hotel. All of the staff in reception and around the hotel are so welcoming, helpful and friendly and Barry the barman is full of positivity, happiness and is hilarious. It was my birthday yesterday and the hotel even gave me a little present which was really lovely. The rooms are extremely clean and the whole hotel smells so fresh! The location is perfect and the views are so good. For an eco friendly hotel that’s in a very good location, friendly and clean it is a very good price. Thank you for everything!!
