Dear Guest, First of all, we would like to thank you for sharing with other users of TripAdvisor your experience in the Andante Hotel. As you said, the hotel is well located in the city center and in walking distance to Las Ramblas and Port Vell. We greatly apologize that the room size didn't please you. However, the rooms are in keeping with the rules for 3 stars hotels in town. At reception you can ask for a kettle and also, there is a fridge where the guests can leave some items. Once again, we would like to thank to you for sharing your experience with other users and we expect to see you again in your next visit to the city.

We stayed as two couples and had a pair of standard rooms at end of corridor on first floor. Accommodation in large rooms was very good. Air conditioning that worked well. Large modern bathroom with walk in shower in one room the others had a bath with shower over. Black out curtains, tv, safe and room was spotless clean. Our room faced front which was a bit noisy in evening. View from the sitting out area was of high rise flats but didn't bother us. The corridors reminded me of entering a cinema and although dark decor might not suit everyone it gave the hotel a cool modern atmosphere. Outstanding breakfast if you wish. Also micro wave and vending machines available for coffee and snacks. Parking available and a small gym downstairs and lockers that you could leave bags in for 2euros after checking out was welcome. However location was ideal as others have mentioned and was reason for our choice. Pool small but amazing for an early morning dip (take camera). Outside was small square which sometimes had some interesting characters but have seen the same in all cities and we never felt uneasy. Turn left out front door go 300m for a local square with great eateries and The veronica pizza restaurant. Keep going for the Contemporary art museum and university. Staff would print out embarkation tickets for you. very helpful and called doctor for my friend. Would definitely stay again. Great value.

It is close to La Rambla. In fact walking distance. Superstores and restaurants are next door to the hotel. It has its own parking in case you want it. But the price charges for the rooms is way too high. Rooms are ordinary, with almost zero amenities. Pretty noisy if you are staying in lower floors. For everything you need, there is some price you need to pay over and above your room rent. That's not very fair.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review on Tripadvisor. We regret to know that your expectations weren't satisfied during your stay. As you said, the hotel is minimal in amenities, we only have soap and shampoo/gel dispensers. However, guests can find amenities in superior rooms, like body milk and shampoo / conditioner. We spent a wonderful night at Andante Hotel. We had a family room on the 10th floor with a fantastic view over the city.
The children loved the pool on the top floor while we enjoyed our drinks.
The pre-reserved parking space in the hotel garage was free as requested.
We highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel. Employees at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The general impression of the hotel is great, everything is clean and new looking.
I must say that the surroundings of the hotel don’t feel so safe at night, but once you enter the hotel it feels perfectly safe.
The room was clean, the bed was super large and comfortable. When I made the reservation I asked for the brightest room possible : we were in the last floor of the hotel with a great view on the city (+++ nice from the front office).
Two things could have been improved : the flow of hot water in the shower was not regular, and oscillated between hot and lukewarm water ; there was no toilet brush (which is a problem when you are two in a bedroom :D).
Finally, the parking was clean and well guarded, and the pool with a view was nice too.
