The building is located in the Raval Quarter, in the Ciutat Vella district. It is superbly located on the Av. Drassanes, 23-25, which is in the old city center, right in the heart of Barcelona, a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas, Port Vell, the cruise terminals at the port, the Maremagnum leisure area and the Paral.Lel theatre district. Andante Hotel is a 3* establishment, practical, modern and inexpensive, with 134 rooms over 10 floors, with different types available: Doubles, Triples, Family, Singles, with a Balcony, with Panoramic Views and for the disabled. All rooms are exterior rooms. The hotel provides an outdoor plunge pool, free Wi-Fi, Internet corner 24h, luggage storage room, late check-out room, reception 24h and gym. It also offers buffet breakfast with "show cooking". It has a large terrace and a self-service microwave and vending machines for drinks, snacks and sandwiches.
All our rooms have been renovated in July 2021.

Ideally located a 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas, the Andante is a really nice hotel.
Very pleasant and welcoming reception team and really great team in the breakfast room.
Rooms are very clean, well appointed and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Very quiet which aids a good nights sleep.
We were located next to the lifts, which in other hotels we have found can be noisy, however not here, we didn’t hear them at all.
It very much is a a conservation hotel with environment in mind. My only criticism is that due to this the room lighting appears dark, however not a major problem.
The breakfast is excellent and sets you up for the day ahead. Scrambled eggs, bacon, vegetables, potatoes, toast, pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal and more.
I would thoroughly recommend choosing this hotel for a break in Barcelona.

100% recommend Andante hotel. First of all the swimming pool is such an amazing hang out for everyone to gather enjoy the view and have a few drinks. Also, the breakfast is so so nice and is open until 11 on weekends, which is a huge bonus.
The best thing about the hotel is the staff. I have never met such a helpful, positive staff. They are so unbelievably helpful and just made the weddings parties experience so much better

I really enjoyed our stay at Andante. The staff were very friendly and so glad they spoke English as my Spanish was limited. The rooms were a great size and very clean (and quiet - I didn't hear other guests at all). Loved the rooftop pool (the view!) and the pool bar was a great way for us to start off our holiday. The pool area wasn't ever that busy as could easily get so. The breakfast (included in our room rate) was a highlight with lots of hot and cold options. I am missing the mini chocolate croissants already!
The key card being made from wood, not plastic, was a nice touch, as was the other notes the hotel made to sustainability and supporting local business.
Felt secure with key card entry to the hotel, as well as a key needed for the lifts.

We selected this hotel based on reviews and proximity to the cruise port and we were glad we did. We were able to walk from the ship to hotel in approximately 20 minutes.
Every member of the hotel staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. When we had a minor issue with our room, an alternate arrangement was made immediately. Information on directions and restaurant suggestions was happily given. Breakfast is offered but we did not take advantage of it. Coffee shop and grocery store are within a block.
Very short walk to Las Ramblas.
The room was clean and comfortable. The view from the rooftop/infinity pool was terrific. Lounge chairs and blankets were available. It was a nice place to sit after a long day of walking.
Thanks Camille, Ceasar and the two delightful women working the desk with them (I, unfortunately, did not get their names). You made our stay a terrific one. Every employee we encountered was professional, warm, and went out of their way to make our brief stay a good one. Gracias!

Great location, near the main area in Barcelona, very safe, great. Environmental friendly. Great views from the room and the rooftop. One advantage is the taxis can park in front and you don't have to walk around with luggage. Metro was a couple of blocks away. Will return to this hotel.

Great to stay in such an environmentally friendly hotel. Check in was done quickly and easily. Room was quite large, clean and well appointed. It was at the back of the hotel overlooking apartments close by but was extremely quiet. Breakfast area was quite large and offered outdoor seating as well. Food was excellent. Plenty of choices with lots of variety. Location was quite good as only a block or so off Le Rambla. We were able to walk to most places but a taxi rank was close by if needed.Some difficulty was had in finding good nearby restaurants but several were recommended by staff and we ended up eating at them most evenings during our 5 night stay. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for your visit to Barcelona.

Myself, husband and three friends stayed a night at either end of a week’s cruise from Barcelona. Situated 5 minutes from Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter, we really liked this hotel. Helpful staff. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and breakfast plentiful with good choices. The cartons of water on arrival in our room were very much appreciated. The roof top pool and seating area gave great views over the city. The hotel has a really good luggage storage area which we utilised as our flight was not until tea time and we checked out at 12. You can lock your case into a massive locker and know it will be safe while you are out and about. Within walking distance of the World Trade Centre Cruise Terminal and a short taxi journey to Cruise Terminals A&B. The hotel has a taxi rank outside which was extremely useful.

Smart, clean hotel which could not have been in a better position. Less than 5 mins to Metro, supermarket, bars, shops restaurants. The room inc bathroom was ample with a good size shower. We loved the clear signage on everything. The position was quiet and felt safe. The roof terrace was great and if it had been a bit warmer we would definitely have enjoyed a dip in the pool. Our room rate included breakfast which was good with plenty of choice. Efficient, helpful, and cheerful staff throughout. I only have one very, very minor suggestion (not criticisms), please add an entertainment TV channel in English. The only English speaking channel was a news channel I'd never heard of. After walking the city sights all day I'd have appreciated a bit of telly before heading out for the evening. The bag storage was a great bonus and saved us dragging our bags around with us after checkout, allowing us to enjoy a whole extra day.
