The room that I got allocated it was marvellous ( room 1007 ). Gisele from the reception was so kind and helpful , she made my stay memorable with her recommendations and the warm hearted smile. Also a special note to Camille the male morning receptionist was brilliant and professional at his work. He proceeded with my requests in an efficient way. Furthermore the breakfast was good and it had plenty variety. The young cook who was there was so amazing and friendly, each day was welcoming me with a great smile.
The only thing that got me concerned was the location of the hotel because of the neighbourhood it was kind of strange and dangerous until 20:00 it is fine, however after that time you need to take an extra care.

Clean, basic rooms. Good location. Plus point is definitely the pool. Stayed in a twin bedroom. It was very basic but clean and tidy. A dispenser of shower gel/shampoo was provided. No facilities to make tea or coffee in the room. Hotel staff were very helpful. Great with directions and recommendations. Pool is definitely the hotel’s best feature. It’s a small area with low deckchairs and a limited bar menu but the view is lovely and the pool is lovely to cool down after sightseeing.

The location is very central, all services are fully meeting 4 star expectations. Very clean overall and the staff is kind and friendly. Patricia was extremely helpful and made my stay memorable, so a special thanks for her assistance is due.
Raval is considered a "not very safe" district according to my friends who live in BCN, but I had a very safe feeling walking around even at very late at night.
Breakfast is not a highlight but meets expectations.
I can recommend this hotel to anyone. If you go for the budget room, be mindful that you will have a very small living area, but regular rooms provide enough space and are comfortable.

A good solid business class hotel in the very center of Barcelona. Everything seems to work well. I would not say it's a cozy place. Lots of business folks from all over the world. But it works. And it's a good place to stay for a night or two.
Of course, it all depends on what you might be looking for.
Every room is exactly the same more or less, so you feel like you're in a little white box. But... it's a nice white box. It does feel a bit like you're living inside an IKEA showroom
Great hard working staff!!!! Tip the maids who are immigrants doing the best they can do.
One thing that I cannot understand is this: why would a hotel of this size, with hundreds of rooms, have just one or two people working at the front desk.
I've worked in hospitality my entire life, and this is a total mystery to me.
It's also not fair to the hard-working staff who are trying to make hundreds of people happy.
One suggestion is this! Have the management team from the corporate office come down and work the front desk here for one week. By themselves.
That would make for a great lesson.
And I'm sure that it would change a few minds about how proper staffing works at a well staffed hotel.
Invest in your people!
Put your staff first, and everything else will follow!

Comfortable bed, nice shower and very warm and cosy. Staff five good advice on local area and always polite and helpful. Cleaning staff made the bed without disturbing my items and even placed and tucked my Teddy bear in, which I thought was very nice touch.

The location is top in a street paralel of de La Rambla. Breakfast buffet is very nice and extended Staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful, as well as in the breakfast restaurant. You get from me just 1 because of the dirty bathroom. It is ashamed that on the bathroom tiles in the shower, above the toilet and around the wash basin the tiles are dirty with soap spots and rests from previous guests. I did not mention it to the reception the night after our arrival as I wanted to give the housekeeper the chance to correct her forgotten work. Returning in the evening it was still the same. After two nights I mentioned it to the reception hoping the housekeeper would get instructions to clean the bathroom tiles. Coming back in the room at night nothing had changed. Sorry for me unacceptable. Besides that the drain of the shower is clogged. We stayed in room 406.

Great hotel - very comfortable and central. The only thing to improve on would be better shower heads (very little water pressure) and add dumbbells plus Mats in the Gym. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast is standard.

Awesome hotel-very modern, very clean. Friendly staff! Nice breakfast spread. The rooftop pool/bar is amazing. Also, Barry the bartender who works at said rooftop bar was friendly, engaging, and very attentive to our refills! We will be coming back this year for a few days on our way to France. Walking distance to everything you could want in Barcelona.

Andante is a smart and clean hotel close to La Rambla and within easy walking distance if the Drassanes and Paral-lel metro stations.
Decent breakfast although no drink making facilities in the room.
Would recommend eating within the Gothic Quarter at the small bars serving simple tapas.

What a find this was and we were not disappointed at all. The hotel is centrally located and within easy reach of La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter, but quiet enough. A taxi rank is located outside. We were greeted by very friendly staff, after a long delayed flight. The rooms are very clean, eco friendly, but tastefully done. Breakfast had something for everyone, with hot, cold buffet style foods ranging from sausages, eggs and mushrooms to cereals, fruits, yoghurt, meats breads and pastries. There was a generous spread. The staff were attentive and courteous too. The one time we needed some help, the desk staff were happy to help and gave good information. The outside area, rooftop bar, sun deck and plunge pool just added to the ambience. Overall, this was a very good stay, made even better by a well managed, thoughtful and efficient staff. I would highly recommend this place to visit. Just one small thought for improvement. The walk in shower is quite slippery when soap is in use, so could do with a non slip surface adding to it.
