My family only stayed one night at the AC Hotel, but the room was nice and spacey. The staff was extremely friendly and everything suited our needs. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant at all, but the drinks in the minibar were free.
We had three adults staying in the same room, so we needed a rollaway bed. There's an extra charge for that, but we knew that ahead of time. The extra bed was placed in the room with the sofa and there was a screen that could be closed to separate the two areas (the room with the sofa and the room with the bed), so that provided some privacy.
Everyone on the staff spoke English and they were were helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a modern hotel with ultra chic rooms that provides a desk, sitting area and a bedroom that closes off from the sitting room. The staff was super! They spoke English and were very knowledgable about the surrounding area, how to ride the trains, what to see, etc. Our breakfast was included - the usual fare for European breakfast, however, if you wanted a hot breakfast, they would make you eggs. The trays were always replenished when needed and lots of fresh fruit. They never ran out of coffee (as some hotels do in their breakfast area) and there was plenty of space to accomodate the guests. This hotel is more "Americanized" than most in Europe. The large rooms, ultra modern bath, robes and slippers provided, and in a safe neighborhood made this a great choice.

Stayed there during MWC 2012 and was a delight. Interiors were well furnished with a modern touch while the balcony was nice to enjoy the cold breeze. My experiences with the AC chain have been very pleasant. The suites were well equipped with amenities and kept cleaned during my stay. Front office assistance was great with transportation arrangements and providing excellent directions. Internet connectivity was the biggest concern but I had no problems at all connecting at the lobby during evenings. Good option considering its proximity to the Metro and supermarket.

Internet access was often problematic at the time you stayed in the hotel but since then, the whole system has been changed and I'm satisfied to say that we have now a very good connectivity. The space of the room is nice. There is no gym and it is expensive to go to the gym they are partnered with. As indicated earlier, you have to pay for the internet. In the rooms, it is so slow you cannot use it. I made them take the prepaid card back. We'll see what happens when I check out. The internet is free in the bar, but is low to average speed. The breakfast is very expensive for what you get. There is nothing hot. But if you like cereal, cold cuts, juice and fruit, you are set. But since you have a fridge, save some money and go get some groceries. The drinks in the room are free, so maybe that offsets the breakfast cost. I saw the last posting said a phone was stolen. Writing this right now makes me want to go check on my GPS watch I left charging in the room since I have to be in the lobby to write this. A friend also staying here had his iPad2 stolen, so lock your goods. There is an ATM right across the street, so no need to get cash at the airport. You can get it here quickly.

Dear guest, By the verb time you use I understand that you are still lodged in the hotel. Regarding breakfast: we do offer hot plates but they are served under order. We just do not have them in the buffet because we think they are much better cooked on the spot. Please feel free to order them tomorrow if you wish. What you comment of the slowness in the internet unfortunately is happening sometimes lately and is causing us understandable problems with our guests. Our supplier is Telefonica and it is failing in its service more often than it is acceptable. We are already receiving offers to change the whole wi-fi system. However, if you would be so kind as to inform the front desk about this speed problem in the area of your room, we could at least open the incidence with them and pursue that it is solved. Thefts: this is a most uncomfortable issue. All entries are registered through the card system in each room and we are investigating the entry records in your colleague's room. The staff we have has long been with us, all of them are trustworthy and we have never had problems of this kind before. In any case, all of the master cards which have access to all rooms have been reseted in order to stop any risk of further incursions. We are addressing this with your colleague and are most interested in finding out what has happened and give him a satisfying solution. It lived up to it's ratings on Trip Advisor. Nice hotel with suite-sitting room/bedroom with divider. Balcony for each rooms. A bit dated in some room aspects. The tub/shower combo was a bit funky to operate. Nice restaurant and bar. Nice friendly service personnel. Spent three day and enjoyed. Not city center but public transportation nearby made it easy to reach all locations.

We stayed here for one night after a week long cruise. Because the rooms were available, the hotel was willing to do a very early check in. We had 2 rooms that were connecting to accommodate our family of 6, and space was plenty. Even if my perspective is bias after living in cramped quarters on a ship, I do believe that the rooms are roomier than I expect in Europe. They were also very clean. The location is not city center, but it is convenient to subways and trams, maybe a 10 minute walk for us (with young kids and seniors). We had one day to see Barcelona, and we were able to do that even after leaving late in the morning (took the HOHO and saw the major sights and had a great typical tapas lunch near Ramblas). The soccer stadium is close by, and is a stop for the HOHO buses. The perk is that the location is quiet, so you won’t be bothered. I believe there are restaurants nearby. We elected to eat at the restaurant at the hotel, and the food was good. I didn’t have a chance to have their breakfast. The front desk was very accommodating. They provided a crib and also contacted a taxi for us in the morning to get to the airport. If I return to Barcelona, I would love to stay here again and hope to stay longer.

Dear Management, Thank you so much for this great stay. Booked a 2 Bedroom suite for my Family and me and got a nice modern 60 qm room on the 3rd floor assigned. As a Bonvoy Titanium member we had 20 dollars per day to spend at the minibar and breakfast was included in my rate and generously extended to us 4. The breakfast is better than at my previous AC hotel stays in other cities, they even had cava and wine to choose from. The restaurant is quite, modern, beautiful and the staff was great as well.

Staff was very gracious and accommodating. Rooms were modern, clean, and spacious.We appreciated being able to escape noise Of downtown tourist seen, and yet had a very nice cafés and shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

My family (husband and two kids) had a five-night stay at AC Victoria Suites for the second leg of our summer vacation. We are very happy with this property. I e-mailed the front desk a week early to inform them of our late check-in (midnight) and the fact that I had two children with me. Upon arrival, it was clear that staff had been expecting us and our room was ready. We proceeded with a fast check-in and given an upgrade! We had two double beds, plus sofa bed and kitchenette. We were all very happy and delighted to settle in this wonderful room after a day of traveling.
We knew that the location was a bit far from the center of Barcelona and were prepared to travel a bit to get to destinations. We decided on this property due to the size of the roms and the ability to accommodate a family of four in one room. We used the Metro, Taxi and Hop On-Hop Off bus to get around. The Maria Christina Station (L3) is a 10 minute walk. The metro is very easy to use and fast to get to the center of Barcelona. We also used the MyTaxi app to order taxis and pre-determined the cost of the trip. You can also pay via the app. The Barcelona Bus Turistic Hop On Hop Off staff is at the end of the block.
The property is located in a very nice residential area. There are café, restaurants and shops in the immediate neighborhood. We found ourselves eating several times at Central Park.
Service throughout our stay was excellent! Front desk always had a smile and housekeeping was on top all our needs. The kitchette has an extra daily charge if you want to request utensils, plates and cookware.
The only downfall to the property is that I wished it had a pool. While doing research online, some of the pictures indicate that the property had a pool. Perhaps once it did, but not now.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a business trip. Staff are excellent, rooms are spacious and food is great. It is also walking distance to the metro making travel around Barcelona really convenient. The neighbourhood has a park and nice restaurants too, Really want to commend the front desk staff in particular - I did think they were understaffed as often there was only one person there and a crowd of people to attend. But when things quietened down, their attention to detail was awesome. Didn't get all their names except Christina Bley. She is very helpful.
