Write a reviewThe last night of my honeymoon was spent here. What a gem of a place slightly outside the hustle & bustle of the center city crowd. In a quiet neighborhood... the 30 room inn touts excellent service, some special rooms (we upgraded to "attic rooms" that have a central outdoor open area), unbelievably comfortable beds (my wife is googling the pillow & sheet manufacturers!), 24/7 coffee, tea, soft drinks & snacks... walk the stairs (amazing staircase)... easy stroll to some quieter resteraunts, but less than 5 minutes to the Metro as well. The outdoor gardens & pool are a nice touch as well. 25 euro taxi ride from the airport took 20 minutes (it's on the airport side of the city). Worth a visit for sure!

This tucked-away property is in a convenient, quiet residential and professional neighborhood. We arrived a little before check-in time and they checked us in immediately. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite and the desk hostess came around to show us around the main level. She then walked us to our room. The property is exquisitely appointed from the bar to the pool to the lobby to the room. It is a fine hotel in every respect.
There's a market a few blocks away where we bought some snacks for the terrace (sangria, ham, crackers and cheese) to keep in the refrigerator. The metro (Tres Torres or Sarria) are very close and convenient to Placa Catalunya.
When I return, this will be the hotel I use.

This family run boutique hotel absolutely made our trip in Barcelona! From receiving a warm reception on arrival, to being given excellent local restaurant recommendations this place made you feel at home instantly on arrival. There are wonderful communal areas to relax in as well as the spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The bathrooms are luxurious and extremely well designed. The pool is fabulous to go in after a day in the hive of the city centre. Next time we go to Barcelona we would definitely stay here!

I loved staying at Primero Primera. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I got wonderful sleep and appreciated the room darkening blinds. We chose a room with a terrace and immensely enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine while sitting out on it.
The whole staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed all the offerings. I especially enjoyed my morning cappuccino and eggs made to order.
We also enjoyed the garden/pool area. It was peaceful sitting in the lovely yard.
The hotel is situated in a residential area. We found this ideal, as it is a short taxi or train ride to anywhere in the city.
I hope to return to Barcelona and stay at Primero Primera again!
