This hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas like the Gothic Quarter.
The staff were very helpful and were able to set up our room with a crib for our one year old.
The rooms have a very homely feel to them and it was a nice hotel to relax in and read a book. Our room was extremely well provisioned. The bathroom was clean and the fixtures looked new. Our balcony overlooked the courtyard and you could see the Cathedral on Mt Tibidabo from there as well. The lobby also had this beautiful winding staircase that immediately caught my eye.
From a public transportation perspective, since this hotel is located in what looked like a residential neighbourhood, it forces you to either walk about 20 mins to get to the closest metro station or use a taxi.
Overall, I think this is a nice hotel to use if you have already seen all the sights and you are looking for a more relaxing vacation. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Travelling with a pre teen we were looking for accommodation close to the city but not in the hustle and bustle. Wow did we do well! This hotel is in a quiet nice suburb of Barcelona, with a metro stop 5 minutes walk Les Tres Torres, which led straight to the heart of Barcelona, Catelonia metro station.
The rooms, well we choose a junior suite room 43, with a lovely balcony overlooking the hills to the rear of the city. The room was huge, our pre teen had her own area, the room had a gorgeously huge bathroom with bath and shower. Balcony, and huge bedroom for the grown ups. The feel of the hotel was a private luxury home from home. The best hotel ever was my daughters view, free soft drinks in the in room fridge, other paid for options are available. Free coffee and pastries in the cosy lounge downstairs, or the option to purchase drinks and food in the in house small restaurant. It was safe, quite, with a lot of local business travellers. This is a boutique home away from home. Marvellous, what more can we say?

This hotel is just wonderful. Whilst it is not central it is in a very peaceful neighbourhood. I gave the metro a miss and hired an electric bicycle (available at the hotel) for the 3 days I was there. Brilliant! Loved it! You see Barcelona in a totally fresh way!
The room was large and elegantly designed with a balcony. All teas, coffees and soft drinks are included. Breakfast was yummy. The staff are warm and friendly, especially nice when you are travelling alone like I was.
Like all the best boutique hotels this has the feeling of staying in a family house.
So 5 stars, 10 points and congratulations to the owners and staff of Hotel Primero Primera. I will be back and I will recommend you enthusiastically.

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful hotel, tucked away in the suburbs of Barcelona. The rooms were magnificent, spacious, comfortable, and oh so immaculate. Ours had a balcony which was used quite a bit. The staff was kind and very helpful...able to answer any and all of our questions. Enjoy your stay !

The location is 2.4 miles from the El Gotic area of Barcelona, slightly up the hill and a wonderful respite from the bustle and excitement at the center of the city. The hotel itself is small, family owned and operated, has a lovely garden and pool. We stayed on the 4th floor in a large, beautiful room with spacious balcony where we spent many late evenings enjoying the beauty and quiet of the neighborhood. The staff are terrific, friendly, helpful and always gracious. Our breakfasts in the cozy hotel restaurant were delicious and intimate. This is, indeed, a beautiful and very special boutique hotel
