King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark don sporty hiking ensembles to explore scenic trail in Greenland

The King and Queen of Denmark looked to be in high spirits as they were welcomed to Igaliku village on the second week of their trip to Greenland.
They were all smiles as they chatted with wellwishers, and were greeted with people holding Danish and local flags, with stunning rolling green hills in the background.
Frederik X, 56, and his wife Mary, 52, grinned for photos in matching waterproof ensembles as they explored the south of the island.
The royals' Instagram account revealed that the couple arrived yesterday and spent the night in the region, where Norse explorer Erik the Red's ship arrived more than 1,000 years ago.
The couple walked to the village along the Kongevejen - a gravel road that takes you from Itilleq to Igaliku, named after Frederik IX who visited in 1952, and is renowned for its stunning views.

Mary showed off her sporty style in deep green trousers, teamed with a chic cream button-up.
Her chestnut tresses were first styled in loose waves, but the Queen later threw her hair up into a bun.
She kept her make-up sophisticated as ever, with a dewy base and glamorous smokey eyes.
Meanwhile, Frederik donned black hiking trousers and a light brown hoodie for the outing.
The pair initially sported matching pullovers - Mary's in a forest green and Frederik's in khaki - but took them off as the temperatures warmed.
The Danish royals have been travelling around Greenland since last week. Yesterday, Mary visited a sustainable Naasut institution for children in Nuuk, which translates to 'flower' in Greenlandic.
The organisation works with the Mary Foundation's anti-bullying program called 'Free From Bullying' which has been rolled out in The Faroe Islands, Estonia, Iceland, Romania, France and Greenland.

Mary looked every inch a Queen in a crisp white pleated long-sleeved blouse which she tucked into black cigarette trousers.
She wore her glossy brunette tresses down in a styled wavy blow-dry and opted for natural makeup with a hint of eyeliner and mascara.
In one sweet snap, Mary is seen getting down on her knees to sit with the children on the ground, with one boy holding up a small purple teddy bear to her face.
The youngsters were joined by the mother-of-four as a teacher at the daycare held up a colourful book to grab their attention.
Mary was pictured sitting down on a chair and appeared to be listening intently whilst smiling at the children in the classroom.
The duo, who became King and Queen at the start of the year, looked every inch the happy couple as soon as they touched down in Greenland last week.
As one of their first activities, the family visited a viewpoint with a whale microphone at Qeqertarsuaq.
