Jack Black has touched down in Sydney sporting an absolutely bizarre ensemble.

The Hollywood star, 54, who is in Australia to tour with his band Tenacious D, treated onlookers at Sydney airport to his very eclectic fashion sense.

The School of Rock star wore an oversized charcoal tie-dyed t-shirt paired with board shorts emblazoned with a vibrant Cheshire Cat-inspired print.

The Kung Fu Panda star also wore white, knee-high socks with black shoes.

He also sported clear-framed spectacles, a cross body bag and backpack as he greeted fans at the terminal.

Meanwhile, bandmate Kyle Gass kept it casual with a white T-shirt, blue shorts and black slides with socks.

Black also went bushy and grey with his beard, looking unrecognisable from many of his iconic movie roles.

The Emmy-winning actor has appeared clean-shaven in many of his biggest films like The Holiday or Goosebumps.

Over the years, Black has spent more time offscreen, voicing characters for movies like The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the Kung Fu Panda franchise, than on screen.

Jack recently went viral for sending a sweet message to Australian school students that invited him to watch them perform School Of Rock.

In response to his invite to watch their live show version of his smash hit 2003 film, the star shared a heartfelt video message.

'Ringwood Second College, you're doing School Of Rock?! I love it! love it, so touched, so moved by your video and the fact that you're going to rock,' he said.

''You know it's been 20 years since I made that movie? It's still my favourite movie I ever did and I love that you guys are going to rock it.'

However, he went on to tell them that he sadly wouldn't be able to attend their rehearsals because of his busy touring schedule for his band Tenacious D's Australian tour.

Black and his band are currently on Spicy Meatball Tour, which kicked off in May and is set to wrap on July 26, 2024.
