The Mercedes SL AMG features large 19-inch alloy wheels, an AMG bodykit, a sports gearbox and exhaust system and active suspension that helps to control body roll. An AMG steering wheel, 'Biturbo' badging, illuminated door panels and new sports seats are also fitted at no extra cost.

Touring spec gets the full exterior chrome package, more sophisticated adaptive headlights, and sports suspension. There’s high-performance brakes, while inside there’s the clever Airscarf vent system, beige interior trim and a fingerprint scanner for personalised infotainment settings.

High performance is a given with this car, but over and above the Premium Plus variant you get carbon-ceramic brakes, adaptive aerodynamics with an active spoiler and 21-inch matte-black alloy wheels. Inside is a combination of black Nappa leather and carbon fibre trim.

Performance refers to the SL’s plug-in hybrid powertrain, so the only extra equipment this gets over the regular Mercedes SL is the addition of a charging cable to allow you to top up the battery.

This is the plug-in hybrid version of the fastest and highest-performing version of the Mercedes-AMG SL, and comes with all the equipment of the regular Ultimate but with different alloy wheels as well as an included charging cable.
