About Lexus

Lexus is Toyota’s luxury brand and was founded in 1989.

The first model was the LS 400, made with the ambitious aim of building the best car in the world. The original LS 400 shook the upmarket establishment with its whisper-quiet V8 engine and supreme reliability.

The company competes against the likes of Audi, BMW, and Mercedes with its range of SUVs, saloons, and an MPV.

Hybrid power features prominently and has become something of a Lexus signature over the years. Lexus has been slower than some premium brands to embrace fully electric models, but the UX 300e electric SUV was introduced in 2021.

Lexus plans a fully electric model range by 2035.
