EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! Our very own Union Shop and Purple Onion Shop, two student favourites on campus, have joined the Too Good To Go app.

The Too Good To Go app works by allowing users to purchase a ‘Magic Bag’ from participating stores at a discounted price. Each bag is filled with surplus food that the store would otherwise have thrown away.

The app has already been a runaway success in helping to combat food waste and saving money for students - and now you can access shops on campus too!

Here at LSU, we are beyond excited about this venture, as we are always looking for ways to reduce our food waste. We know that this is a great step in making a difference to the amount of food waste around campus, and we are pleased that students will be able use the platform to save some additional money.
