We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our four Community Leads for the upcoming academic year (2023/2024). These outstanding individuals will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community for Loughborough students. With their backgrounds, skills, and enthusiasm, they are set to make a significant impact on the student experience here at Loughborough Students’ Union.

Action Community Lead – Bryony Shutler

Bryony will be joining our Action family as Community Lead. With over 50 different projects running throughout the year, Action is your go-to place for volunteering in the community. Whether you enjoy chatting with the elderly, reading with children, holding fun events or doing some gardening... Action does small things that make a big difference to both the local community and each other!

Activities Community Lead – Toyin Kukoyi

Toyin will be joining our newly-named Activities team. The aim of LSU Activities is to provide students with opportunities for personal growth and development in collaboration with the Training Academy and Loughborough Enterprise Network.

Societies Community Lead – Max Nervi

Max will become the Community Lead for our Societies, the place where you can make great friends and great memories! Whether you want to dip your toe into a new hobby or go full send, there's something for everyone with Societies at LSU.

Rag Community Lead – Ashleigh Farmer

Ashleigh has been appointed our Rag Community Lead for 23/24. Our fabulous Rag team supports everything in charity and fundraising. They offer opportunities and advice to help you make an incredible impact on local, national and international causes. Whether you want to join the Kilimanjaro Trek, jump out of a plane or get ‘Lost’ on one of our fundraisers, we’ve got you covered!

We have full confidence in the abilities of these individuals to excel in their respective roles, bringing about positive change and creating opportunities for students to grow, connect, and make a difference in the community. Their passion, dedication, and innovative ideas will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the Students' Union and our students.
