I reserved three Villas for a party of 18 family and friends.
THE GOOD:
The villas were spacious with private swimming pools and balconies. Our private villa maid, Esmeralda was very accommodating, and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone in my party had several spa treatments and was pleased. A special shout out goes to Denia Nienez - she was awesome and went out of her way to make sure our party was happy.
THE BAD: The premium restaurants and pools are only available for timeshare owners of LHVR. You need to call for a shuttle to take you to various parts of the resort. Do not be fooled by the resort host that will appear at your door to give you a "tour of the resort". He or She works with the timeshare salesman and will drive you to a building for an unplanned, timeshare presentation. They are deceptive and aggressive - do not fall for "tour of the resort". The food options were mediocre, and the quality was not great - their hamburgers didn't taste like real beef and the serving sizes were paltry. I'm not sure if RCI lowered their rating standards, but this resort should not be considered a GOLD CROWN resort.
