The apartament is located in the central area 3 blocks from Placa Catalunya. An ideal apartamemt for a succeaaful city breake, hasmany accommodations and each room has its own bathroom. There are many supply stores in the area. The host is very nice. We where not bothered at all and they responded promptly to.every request during oir stay. I higy recommend this apartamemt. Definitley next time we will stay here.

We’ve spent some day at this apartment in Barcelona.
The hosts Lux and Francisco were very kind and always ready to help us.
The apartment is very spacious and bright. Perfect for large families and group of friends.
Very well positioned in Passeig de Gracia, from where you can reach all Barcelona landmarks.
Our overall vote is 9!!!
To get a full 10 vote, there are just a couple of little things to be improved:
1) Beds should be more comfortable than they actually are. The fact there are two mattresses instead of just one large, makes the bed a bit uncomfortable.
2) In our bathroom was missing the toilet brush to clean the wc.
So, with these two small improvements, this apartment will reach a full 10 vote!!!

Perfect location, close to everything, supermarkets, restaurants, shops, public transportation, etc. you are in the city center but the apartment is very quiet and you don’t hear nothing. It’s also huge! Perfect for big groups, with lots of bathrooms.

Location was great. Clean. Large kitchen and living area. Everything we could ask for as a large group of friends travelling to Barcelona to enjoy the city's culture and watch FC Barcelona play football.

The location is great, the apartment beautiful. We were so nicely welcomed. This is to be repeated!
Big rooms and the terrace is so beautiful. They even had a washing machine and dishwasher.
Parking close by the hotel. loads of restaurant. One minute of a walk to paseo Gracia, where you find shops and restaurants. Also close to the metro station.

Very nice place, perfect location and a bar right next to the entrance. The host was very nice and friendly. 5 bathrooms in total which made it perfectly since we were with 9 on holiday and didn’t have to bother about the time management. Definable a recommendation for an affordable price!

The room we had booked was great, spacious, full of lights, The whole flat, kitchen and services was not very clean. The probem was the flatmates.
The hosts were also very nice and helpfull.

The location of Casa Consell is outstanding, in the heart of L'Eixample, right next to Passeig De Gracia metro and train station. It was very easy to get to the guest house from the airport by R2 Nord train. There are endless shopping possibilities, attractions and restaurants just around the corner. Also the old town, Barri Gotic is only about a 1,5 km walk away.
We had a huge family room for four persons, in fact it was two rooms together and a private bathroom. Many of this guest house's rooms do share a bathroom, but as we travelled with a small child, our own private bathroom was very much appreciated. Our room was very tidy and cosy and had a small balcony, with a nice city view along Carrer del Consell de Cent.
The only downside concerning our room and the guest house itself was the street noise at nighttime. It is an old building and the sound insulation of the doors and windows was poor in our room. As our room was facing the street, at times it was almost impossible to sleep without earplugs, as the scooters and cars were speeding along the street hours after midnight and after a short more silent period, the garbage trucks began their daily rounds well before sunrise...
As far as I know, some of the other rooms face the inner courtyard and are probably a lot quieter at night.
Our room also had two air conditioning units, which we didn't use as the nights in October are not that warm. There is a free wifi available in the rooms and public areas and most of the times it worked ok.
A very simple breakfast was included in the price and we, as many other guests, supplemented it with our own food supplies acquired from the nearby supermarket. It was a self-service breakfast, meaning that you were supposed to do your own dishes after eating. May sound strange to some, but remember this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel but an affordable guest house with a small staff.
We also had a small shared kitchen right next to our room, which was very nice as well.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and kept everything nice and tidy.
All in all, a very pleasant experience!

We stayed in a triple room, with 3 single beds, that was very clean and spacious. Free wifi available. Reception was on 1st floor. There was a ceiling fan, no air-condition but it wasn't necessary in Nov when the weather was cooling in the night and sunny during the day, was just perfect. Only thing missing in the bathroom are hangers, as we had to bring a chair in the bathroom to put our things. Guesthouse is near to Passeig del Gracia metro and train station which is so easy to everywhere. Just a walking distance to Placa Catalunya, shopping malls and restaurants. We took the Aerobus on arrival in Barcelona airport and the bus stops in Catalunya and we took a short walk on Passeig del Gracia street to the hotel. Simple breakfast was included, which is great. We had to wash-up in the shared kitchen, which is ok. Staff was friendly and helpful in explaining the points of interest.

We stayed 2 nights. In the first night, the power failed from midnight. No any staff knew it and treated it until we woke up. There were no hot water and light in the bathroom so that we cannot take the shower. Although the location is very good for us but I will not choose it again.

We are very sorry you couldn't have a hot shower in the evening due to a electrical problem. It was a pity that you did not tell us about this in the evening because it was only a case of turning the power back on!! We fixed the problem when some one told us the next morning. You have two option.
Take two taxi from the airport (one for 4 people an a big car for 6) 100€ aprox.
Or take the Aerobus (every 10 minutes) from the airport to the last stop Plaza Catalunya (5,90€). From Plaza Catalunya we are 5 block by walk

Hello, the easiest way for a group of 10 is the train. There is train stop immediatly (1 minutes walk) at Casa Conseill. It's only one stop further. I hope this can help you. Dirk
