For over 25 years Oasis Marigot has been a family-owned and operated business delivering memorable vacation experiences to people across the world who come to St. Lucia to experience the authentic Caribbean, as it once was. The owner and founder, Jacques Binette and his family were the first to build a hotel in Marigot Bay, and were the very first hotel on the island of St. Lucia to have a website. So yeah, we’ve been around a while! It is also with great pride to say that our staff have been with us for an average of 15 years. So truly, our staff are our family, and that’s why so many guests appreciate our staff in their Tripadvisor comments. It’s what makes us who we are. At Oasis Marigot, you can always count on personalized service where you too, feel like part of our little family here in paradise. Our tagline and words to live by are, “more than a set of keys“. We’ve seen the hotel, resort, and villa rental business evolve over the years in St. Lucia, and we are happy to offer a mix of what we believe the new-age of travelers are looking for – we offer the privacy, freedom, and the authentic experience that only a villa rental can offer, but with many hotel-like comforts and services, like housekeeping, help with arranging activities and restaurants, airport transfers and taxis, pre-stocking your fridge, and so much more. In other words, we’re your personal concierge. Now you can stay outside of a big resort for a more local and enchanting experience, but still feel taken care of. Another great reason to choose us is that we have an on-island Guest Services Office. Most villa rental companies represent properties all across the world, so when booking through them they really don’t have any local or first-hand knowledge of the area. We only operate in St. Lucia, and we know it intimately. And with our Guest Services Office a visit or phone-call away, it’s never hard to get help with whatever you’re looking for – whether it be make dinner reservations, book an activity, or just get extra towels.

The Chalets were updated and immaculately cleaned. The beds are comfortable in the pillows were perfect.

Miranda accommodated our every wish, from scheduling tours, to giving us advice on where to go, and what to do. She also made sure that our chalet was equipped with preordered groceries so we could relax with snacks and have a glass of wine upon arrival. All staff are helpful and provide great recommendations so you feel safe if this is your first time visit. They schedule cabs to Castries are other locations you might wish to visit. All their cab drivers are professional, personable, and they help provide information about the local area and the islands history.

This is a great location in St Lucia to vacation because below the Chalets, there is Doolittle’s restaurant, a Marina, an additional restaurant, and boats for hire. The ferry from the chalets is complementary if you are staying in Oasis Marigot.

Miranda scheduled our boat trip around the island, cabs to Castries, the grocery store, a phenomenal visit to the chocolate plantation , and a must do zip line adventure.

We are return visitors, and each year it gets better every visit. My only recommendation would be to make sure you check with Miranda before you rent chairs on the beach or travel to ensure you were not taken advantage of. There is one section of the page where the vendor claims his prices are cheaper and his chairs more comfortable yet he overcharges you and they were constant vendors, hovering over the chairs, trying to sell you their products.

If you use the chairs provided by the resort, you do not encounter any issues.

We enjoyed a week in condo #5. The grounds and facilities are well maintained and have spectacular patio views of the bay. We were glad the bedroom had a fan and air conditioning! We enjoyed the pool almost daily in the late afternoon. Before you arrive, stock up on food from a market near the airport. The local market in Marigot Bay has minimal items and the prices are higher than in the city. We arrived on a holiday and the market was closed. Pack some essentials from home...coffee, etc.
The hiking trail is steep, but definitely worth the trek. We enjoyed the Sunday orientation and meeting other guests. WiFi is not very good. Bring a book, don’t count on the internet.

Thank you Roam736836 for your review and for staying at the Vacation Club. It was a pleasure having you for your stay. We are happy that you've enjoyed the accommodation and service that was offered. We do offer the service of stocking the villa on arrival with groceries since there are limited supplies at the grocery store in Marigot Bay. We definitely recommend this service since after a long day of traveling it's nice to arrive and have cold refreshing drink and snack. As for the wi-fi we do advertise, that due to our location high speed internet is not available. We do have basic free wi-fi which is good for light browsing. We thank you for your comments and feedback. We hope you get a chance to come revisit us.

The Oasis Marigot is a property that is set in a luscious mountainside garden. The villas are immaculate and spacious and the balcony has the most beautiful views that we have seen anywhere in our travels. The only downside is that only the bedroom is air conditioned. The rest of the Villa can get very warm. Also, there is no television. We brought an iPad for streaming. Their internet was very good.
It is definitely not a resort for anyone with trouble walking or getting around. It is not handicap accessible. There is a sturdy and smooth tram that will take you and your luggage up the mountain but it is a bit of a climb just to reach the tram. The sidewalks to the pool are slanted and crumbling so you must be very careful with each step. That said, the pool was beautiful and we had it to ourselves each afternoon.
The beach was not very nice. It was extremely small and the locals hang out there and constantly try to sell you something. I think this was worse for us because there were so few people there that we were their only choice. I can’t imagine fitting many people on that beach during the busy season.
The resort offers a provisioning service and it is VERY important that you take advantage of it. There are no stores anywhere near the resort. You need to be organized and order all the groceries you may need for your trip. Itwill be delivered to your villa and waiting for you when you arrive. There is only one restaurant on the bottom of the mountain It is Dollittle’s. The food is very good but the service is really slow.
If you are looking for a place to relax and sit peacefully on your balcony with a beautiful mountain breeze staring at the most beautiful scenery you have ever seen in your life, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a strictly beach vacation, you might want to look elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I visited St. Lucia over New Years and went for a sailing day trip from Oasis Marigot with Kim, Gemma, and John. We sailed down the coast from Marigot Bay to Soufriere and stopped at a couple of amazing spots for snorkeling (the entire west coast of St. Lucia is gorgeous). The sailboat was beautiful, they had ample rum punch on board, and at the end they dropped us off at the dock in Soufriere near our hotel. Hiring the sailboat for the day for just the two of us was remarkably affordable as well. I highly recommend sailing from Marigot Bay with Kim, Gemma, and John.

Thank you George for your review. We are delighted to hear that you had a fantastic Private Day Sail on our monohull 38/44 foot yacht with Kim, Gemma & John. This is the perfect excursion to view our beautiful island from the coastline. Since its private you get to choose your itinerary. Thank you for choosing Oasis Marigot : )

My wife and I stayed at the Oasis Marigot last week. The bay is serene, beautiful and peaceful. The sun sets exactly to the west of the bay, which makes for amazing views, especially of the sunsets. The property is built against the north slope of the bay and our views from our cabin were breathtaking. Please note that the only way to get to the resort is via boat from the landing on the south side of the bay. Our ferryman was Eric and he charges $5 per person in cash. The taxi from the airport to the resort costs $75, which also is paid in cash. With the world opening up from the pandemic, I pray that people will be eager to experience the beauty of Marigot Bay and the people living and working there that are excited to make your vacation an awesome experience!

This is our second stay in the Villas. We tried many times during Covid, but had to cancel. Finally made it back.
Oasis Marigot Bay Villas are stunning. Individual villas, so private. You enter onto a landing to your villa. Go down, it is a large well appointed bedroom with A/C. Go upstairs, you open your bahama shutters to a totally open air kitchen, living room and best of all, your large terrance with gorgeous views of the whole bay.
We are nature lovers so the birds visiting was a highlight.
Their resort pool has been redone and gorgeous. Doolittles at beach part of the resort serves great food and drinks and looks like a big living room with pool tables, etc.
But, best of all are the staff. Because we live on a tropical island, we don't care about bugs or the heat of St. Lucia. However, those that don't understand the tropics might not find living like this what they want. But, if you want a gorgeous villa with great beds/linens and a kitchen to cook and save money, a ferry that takes you to amazing restaurants, a sort of cable car to assist you to the beach and nature....this is the place for you. And, throw in the friendliest of staff....Yeah do it.

This is a great secluded spot in beautiful Marigot Bay. It is not a resort, which was perfect for us. There is a pool with a great view, but that is the only amenity. The staff are great and Miranda and Irwin arranged snorkeling and mud bath excursions for us, and dinner one night. They were very helpful answering our questions, arranging travel to and from the airport, and both were very nice. The units are on a hill with lots of steps, and the tram is 4 minutes up and 4 minutes down if its not waiting for you. This is not a place for people with handicap walking and you do need to give yourself time to get up and down the hill if you have scheduled activities. The units are a little dated but great for our needs. The top floor living area and porch looking out on Marigot Bay was so relaxing while having morning coffee, late afternoon punch, or after dinner. It was a place where you could truly forget your daily life back home. On the way to the unit I would suggest you stock up on breakfast, lunch, and some easy dinner foods since you have a fridge and the ability to have meals in and not eat out all the time. The little stores in Marigot Bay are very limited so shop at Massey on your way in from the airport. We also get our rum and juices there and make most of our own drinks. The beach is small but there is a section for Oasis guests and you do not have to pay for chairs which was great. The beach shack on the end of the row of shacks had great food. It would be nice if there was a little shopping and a few more restaurants right in Marigot Bay but the space is very limited so it's understandable. Chateau Mygo had good food, and the Villa on the hill was nice for one fancy meal. After boat trips and beach we didn't need a lot so having food and drinks in the unit was perfect if we didn't feel like going out. We have rented cars on many islands but I would not recommend that on Saint Lucia as the roads are not good or well marked, but the excursions pick you up from Marigot Bay and taxis, which are not cheap, will take you anywhere on the island. This is a place we would come back to for sure.

The Villas are the perfect getaway! Comfortable, interior of villa is in great condition, good A/C, plenty of space, secluded private pool area. Quiet and instant vacation-mode. The views and location couldn't be more ideal! And thank goodness for the trolley up the hill!!

Your staff are the best around! They are friendly, super helpful in setting up excursions, and provide great advice on best options for dining & sightseeing. The provisioning service is off the charts - especially since the local market was closed during our visit. We had everything stocked and ready when we arrived and the price was so reasonable!

This was my second visit, my boyfriend's first. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I spent a full week at Oasis Marigot and had the perfect Villa selected for us by the highly competent staff. Miranda was amazing. Our every need was met and the Villa was meticulously clean and in great condition. Sitting out on our balcony at night overlooking the bay - just chillin’ with some cocktails was one of our fav parts of the stay. Heads up: There are many stairs so if you have an impairment Pls make note of this.... but there’s a small trolley that will take you to the top of the property. Doolittle‘s restaurant at the bottom of the resort is delicious and the staff is also wonderful. The views from our Villa of Marigot bay we’re simply beautiful. we were so relaxed and so very happy with our stay. The staff set up with a driver to see the sights for a day and they even accommodated a impromptu boat trip to go see the Pitones. Other than those 2 excursions, we were perfectly content to stay on the resort. We were so happy with our stay would absolutely come again. Relaxation at its finest. Thank you Oasis Marigot. See you soon.

We had a fantastic stay in Unit 1 for 2 weeks. We loved this place, the views, the flexibility to cook in or eat out, the help and assistance from Miranda in the office to arrange trips etc. Very helpful, honest and kind folks. It is exactly as it is described. The pool is a treat after a hot hike up the trail or a day touring the island. We have nothing but great things to say and we can honestly say, we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such an awesome vacation.

Answer from Lakesfield

Hi, there is a laundry service on site, through the guest services reception. This is not guest operated, but rather collected by your maid and returned. An iron and board may be borrowed from reception, as this is not a hotel hanger/folded service. It is however, quite adequate and reasonably priced for a vacation.

Answer from CWilharm
Asheville, North Carolina20 contributions6 helpful votes
Breakfast is not included, however, you can request provisions be delivered to your villa prior to your arrival for a fee. We had eggs, bacon, bread, and butter delivered so we cooked breakfast our first morning then went to the store for food for the rest of the week. Some people enjoyed eating at Doolittle’s nearby but we did not care for it.
