Due to great weather we made it to Vancouver 5 hours earlier than expected so got on the ferry. Even though a day early the staff were more than willing to book us in early. I had asked for the same suite as last year but the wires got mixed up. They upgraded us to the water side instead of the parking lot side but it wasn't the corner suite. I wanted a corner as there is a window over looking the water over the dining table. It was due to the comfortable unit from last years stay and being accessible for my husband who uses a walker. We brought our own hand shower from home, the maintenance man quickly installed it for us so made showering my husband much easier. Rooms are a good size for his walker. Staff is excellent and it is a nice place to stay over Christmas. Owner again kept the bar open the 25th which for those of us who had nothing much to do that day were treated to an impromptu party. It is pet friendly with a lovely dog park across the street that includes bags at the entrance. We watched dogs gamble around every day. Residents come to it constantly to exercise their small dogs.

Haven't stayed at a Days Inn in awhile. For the most part, I would say we got what we expected. A basic room (King sized bed). This was a first travel experience during COVID so I came prepared with disinfecting wipes. Room look clean overall; however, when I dropped a wet facecloth on the floor by mistake and picked it up, it covered in dirt! Glad I brought slippers and I was glad they do not have wall-to- wall carpeting but laminate flooring. I would recommend giving the floors a better cleaning.
I would suggest updating their website so it is more truthful in advertising. When we booked a room with a balcony we made the incorrect assumption it was an actual balcony perhaps overlooking the Gorge. Instead it was a short "fence" outside the door between the walkway and the parking lot! Overall room was good, basic for what we needed. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked. Area was quiet even with the pub playing live music. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful.

I would like to start off thanking managment for upgrading our 2nd room so we could all be close. This is our 4th time staying at this hotel. Rooms are nice beds are comfortable. We booked the room with kitchen makes things cheaper not having to always go out for food. Also enjoyed the music at the loft. Definitely will be back next year. Only thing is no elevator we were on the top floor. No problem for us but some people with mobility issues make sure to ask for bottom floor

This is a very basic motel. It is clean, but the property is very dated. Our king room was rather small and definitely needs an overhaul. No electrical outlets at the sides of the bed. A plus was that the washroom facilities were separated - sink was in the main room (so one person could use that sink while someone else used the shower/toilet). Mattress needs replacement (springs were noticible).
Other negatives : exterior corridors (could hear people outside yelling). No elevator in this 3 storey facility. Breakfast is not included. There was a restaurant on-site that served breakfast, and it was ok at best.
If you are looking for a cheap room (and nothing more), this place is ok. For a longer stay like ours, I'm picking a better hotel next time.

Thanks for sharing your experience at our hotel. We do have renovations planned, which include headboards with electrical outlets for convenient charging of your device. Some of our guest rooms already offer this feature. Our king mattresses are also being replaced with plush Serta pillowtop mattresses, which will certainly deliver a heavenly sleeping experience. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you in the future.

This accommodation should be called a motel, not a hotel, as the rooms were accessed from a walkway on the outside of the building. It's located on Gorge Road, easy enough to get to but somewhat off the beaten path. There are three breweries close by and a pub in the hotel. The room is much smaller than expected but adequate to our needs, beds were comfortable. It looked to be updated and was quite clean. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Thanks for staying at our motel located in the heart of Victoria's craft brewery district. If you're looking for locals and libations, our hotel is in an ideal location. Guests can also enjoy access to the beautiful Gorge Waterway, which provides walking and cycling trails as well as harbour ferry tours. Our standard rooms are on the cozy side, but all of our rooms with queen beds are much more spacious and many feature partial views of the water. We recommend trying one on your next visit.

The customer service at this property is amongst the worst ever experienced. We are a large company based out of Victoria who host many guests and staff members. We gave this property a try, the customer service from the start was horrible in making it almost impossible to check in staff members, management was rude especially the Front Desk manager Raymond, very unprofessional. We had to check out a staff member two days early because of an emergency for a pre-paid room for 13 nights, and they refused to issue another room or refund even a partial amount for the several unused nights. DO NOT stay here, you will regret it - and you will not enjoy your stay. DO not recommend at all, we will never be using Days INN for any of our requests again for our company and will ensure friends and relatives do not stay at this hotel or with this company.

We are sorry that you encountered difficulty while trying to check in to our hotel. Our staff do need to follow hotel policies and protocols when checking in all guests. We are sorry if there was an inconvenience. We understand that you needed to check out of our hotel early after booking a pre-paid, non-cancellable reservation through a third-party website. We believe there was a misunderstanding as there was a third-party involved in the cancellation process. The hotel is willing to refund the unused nights of your stay. Our hotel does not penalize any guests for early check-outs. However, third-party pre-paid reservations can pose complications.

Staying at the Days Inn Uptown does put you a short distance away from the Inner Harbour, but the short drive is well worth it.
We had a wonderful night's rest, in a well appointed room.
Everything from the recently updated room, to the kitchenette, and especially the comfortable beds, made this stay really nice.
We usually stay here when in the Victoria area, as this location is nice and central to everything we need.
We will be staying here again soon.

It is an incredible hotel. The location in the burnside makes it an incredible experience, where you can find different attractions than the normal ones in downtown. Their location is close by downtown 20 min from there and prices are fear

Thank you for staying at Days Inn! We offer an incredibly unique experience in Victoria's Burnside Gorge neighbourhood. Although we are not downtown, we are very close to downtown and our hotel offers guests a wide array of other attractions including the Selkirk Trestle Bridge, Point Ellice House, the Galloping Goose Trail, Gorge Waterway, Upper Harbour, Esquimalt Gorge Park, and so much more. Our neighbourhood is also home to the most craft breweries in Victoria. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

We had a very pleasant stay in the Days Inn. The staff was friendly, any issues (mistakes I made) were dealt with promptly, and the housekeeping staff were very helpful. The commute to downtown is short and the price difference more than makes up for the drive time

We had a wonderful stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria Uptown. We were most impressed by their hospitality and great communication. We got into town by Noon and wondering around Victoria until our check-in time. It happens to be a day that was very cold and my son was getting little tired walking around. Check-in was 3pm but we received a text message shortly after 2pm from the hotel our room is ready and we are able to check in early. This was a nice surprise. We were at my daughter's Volleyball tournament. Last day, our daughter's game went on longer than expected and we realize if we stay to watch her first game to the end, we will not make the check out time. Graedon was very helpful and did everything he can so we can stay and cheer my daughter until that game ends. We cannot thank you enough for being so personal and flexible.
The building is older, but the rooms are clean and all the basic kitchen items are there. There are no condiments or food wrap, or paper towels in the kitchen so those are good items to pack if you are planning to stay here.
There are connecting rooms in this hotel, so be sure to ask if you are traveling in a large group.
The beds were comfortable, the pool is a good size, and there is a deck you can sit and relax on the 3rd floor. 3 min drive to the supermarket and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. 10min drive to downtown Victoria, 5min Drive to the mall and movie theater.
Some people put up photos of a cat hanging out in the lobby. We were excited to meet a cat but the receptionist say that the cat moved away with their family and no longer visited their hotel. I was surprised to hear the hotel staff let the neighbor's cat wander in to hang out. This hotel sure have hospitality for both guest and an animal and we love to stay in a hotel that provides great hospitality.
