Write a reviewI don't understand the bad reviews . Yes this place is under construction which means you have a brand new home to stay in for your vacation. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Magic village was centrally located minutes away from all the parks. The property itself was gorgeous , spacious, Beautifully decorated , not a penny spared . The beds were a tad hard for my taste, but other than that, great 3/3.5 townhouse with all the amenities , pool, restaurant, gym, kids play room. Also I have to mention we checked in on Christmas eave and the staff worked very diligently to make sure our townhouse was ready for our stay. Very nice staff!

Booked this hotel on short notice after another plan fell through. On another website Magic Village Resort has a 5 star review and based on the pictures it looked like a great place to take a family for a Disney vacation.
Once we got into the area the taxi driver used the GPS to locate the entrance. The entrance is gated and we were not given a code. There is a telecom system, but when we pressed the connect to the front desk no one answered. We had to drive around the back side only to see that the resort is under major construction.
This place isn't even close to being completed. The hotel listings are completely inaccurate.
Most of the listed features are not completed. No restaurant, no fitness center, or no bar. Those are just the things we found out once we got there but are listed online. Who knows what else isn't completed.
It also says there is a shuttle to the theme parks. There is no shuttle to the parks. Well there sort of is. They will shuttle you to one park which isn't even magic kingdom so if you want to go to the other parks you will have to get a taxi. Also we were told the shuttle only picks up and drops off once a day.
We immediately left and went to another hotel in the area that was more accommodating.
At this point both the hotel and the booking website are refusing to refund my money.
The phone number listed on the website does not ring to the front desk. Part of the reason the booking website will not refund my money is because they can not get a hold of anyone at the resort.
Look at my pictures. Does this look like a 5 star resort that is ready for guests? The pictures inside are across from the front desk. That's a giant book case held up with ratchet straps. The other inside pictures look like the bar that is not completed. The building construction is just a little bit of it as I didn't take any pictures other than what was around the check in area.
So my advice to others is to stay away!

The resort is presently being built on phases and phase 1, which is the phase were all the amenities, Club House and services to our visitors are provided is complete at 100%. Phase 2 is almost complete and most of the buildings will be delivered this month. Our fitness center, kids club, concierge, pool, hot tub as well as our free internet service and cable system are fully functional and operational. Our restaurant is on schedule to open this upcoming week and we will offer a variety of fine dishes and drinks to satisfy the most demanding pallet. We would’ve love to have had the opportunity to host you and your family and to provide you with our distinctive customer service and superb accommodations; we are certain you wouldn’t be disappointed. Every family dreams of doing a Disney resort vacation to get the full experience, but the price is always steep. Looking for affordability and peace of mind that your belongings are safe when you're out, this is the place. This is 5 minutes from Animal kingdom as the road is behind the resort. Upon arrival, the resort is gated and you need a code to get in, they also have a guard station. The office is in the center of the resort along with the restaurant, pool, and gym. Mariana was at the desk when I arrived and was welcoming and attentive to my requests. My condo was pond facing and had 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Very spacious and accommodated my family of 5. I had some issues with the master bathroom as one of the double sinks did not work ( faulty hardware) and the shower head had calcium build-up ( florida water is bad). Other then what was stated, my stay was amazing. If you want to save so you can spend more at the theme parks check this place out!

This is absolutely the best resort in Orlando and the Disney Park area. The three bedroom villa's can easily accommodate 2 families without distraction. Villa's are done to perfection, plenty of glassware, dishes, and the appliances were outstanding even the gas grill on the patio, did not even have a propane tank hard wired, and an outside dining area and sink.. It was perfect! They have every possible kitchen and bathroom amenity you could imagine, to include a rain shower faucet, that could fit 3 people. The staff, I was greeting by Jose, he was so fast at checkin I was in and out in 3 minutes flat. I must say that for the price even the villa's of Grand Cypress can't compare. Pool was immaculate, I used the gym which was also specular, I checked out the children's play house and it was great, lots of games, and engages the child to explore under supervision. I loved it! I met with Karen Tookuni, who is the PR and marketing manager, she gave us all luggage tags as a welcome, with a personal touch. The staff is wonderful, they have a dining room as well open for lunch and dinner, and will deliver to your villa, if you so choose to do so..This is a 10 on my scale, and you know I'm picky; The Chef.

Room Tip: ask for bldg 16 or bldg 30 this is great for kids and adults,,,they take dogs too.

We were a group of 3 adults & 3 kids who booked and then got worried about lack of reviews on TripAdvisor. but things turned out fine, so long as you are prepared that the site is under construction but your unit itself will be fine. Right now only a small fraction of the units are ready which was fine by us as we had the pool to ourselves. I wonder once it gets busier how the amenities will manage.
The common kids room was barely finished, small gym was open and restaurant not yet open. Outside bbq not yet hooked up to gas. Business centre is really 2 computers in the lobby with a printer. Because the complex is under construction, there will be workmen passing by all the time. Of the 5 units in our building, I'm guessing 2 were occupied.
Things to know
- extra charge for mid week cleaning & no extra supplies are provided (there was only 1 dishwasher cleaner pack provided, no garbage liners given)
- really basic kitchen supplies (not even any sugar/salt/pepper) but place settings enough for 12
- satellite tv which I'm not used to (1 in every room)
- we were in a 4 bdrm and each room had its own washroom. 3 were showers, 1 was a tub
- coffeemaker, toaster, blender provided
- no face towels, no facial tissues provided. But beach towels included.
- the unit looked very much like the renderings on their website
- road right outside had 2 min drive access to many chain restaurants, publix & target.
The location is very convenient for the Disney parks.

We are delighted that you had a great experience even by not having the property completely operational at the time of your visit. We thank you for giving us an opportunity. Our goal is to provide every guest with a superb magical experience every time they enter our resort. We are delighted to inform you that the construction area now it has been contained to a secluded area of the resort so, our visitors do not have to experience the continuous traffic of construction vehicles and staff. Now our guests and visitors will have a very pleasant and uninterrupted experience in all our facilities and common areas. Our first class restaurant is scheduled to open the first week of December with an exquisite mix of Italian, Brazilian and American dishes with daily service from 7:00am until 12 midnight. Most of our in-house BBQ grills are now functional and available for our visitors that decide to reserve one of our exclusive houses with this feature. Our unique concept of “rental homes” is a new trend within the visitors to the local market and function a little bit different than a regular hotel room and that is why it may be a little shocking to some of the visitors. We would like to provide that “home” feeling when our visitors stay with us and that is the reason that we allowed our guests to bring their prefer amenities to their house instead of us determine what will make you feel comfortable. Due to the fact that you are renting a house, instead of a hotel room, the cleaning services are selective and can be done upon guest request at a minimal fee. The fully stocked kitchen comes prepared with all the basic necessities that the Family Chef will need to prepare the most succulent of dishes to satisfy the demand of any member of the family.
