I arrived after a 7 hour drive to check in with a very blase receptionist. My reservation had indicated a "dog friendly" room and she said there would be a 100.00 charge for pets. I mentioned that my reservation had indicated 50.00 and she said, "they would honor that." Thanks for honoring what I reserved your website!
My room was a dismal motel room facing an ongoing bar/wedding venue. Parking was limited due to the wedding guests using the lot. If I'm charged for parking on my bill, I'm going to refute the charge as the parking was extremely limited. After arriving, I called the office to see if I could get a room away from the blaring DJ, but the receptionist said no other rooms were available. She noted that the music could only continue until 11:00 and then we could alert the police for noise violation. Awesome! Just the experience I was hoping for.
The room was okay, but had the tired air of a updated Best Western. The walls are so thin, I could hear my neighbors dogs and voices all night. For the price I paid, I recognize a gouge. Skip this place if possible and pay the price of a better hotel in Carmel. This isn't one of them.
