Our stay was amazing from start to finish! When we first got to the hotel it was very Covid safe and you can see this is something they take very seriously. When we checked in we got a few upgrade to a pool view room which was amazing! Front staff where helpful in ordering taxi to new and old town as well as helping us arrange our pcr test to come home. Pool was very modern and the food truck was great! Cocktails where very nice as well as the food we had pizza salad wraps on a different day’s an all where very good! Staff where all so helpful always asking was everything ok! Only a few had good English but was never a problem! Great service everyday at the pool
Our room was very Morden and perfect size for two people. House keeping came daily (if requested) and changed towels and made the bed making the stay so much better!
Breakfast finished at 10.30 but was never rushed and always waited till all guest were finished! They went around individually to ensure it was ok to clear the food which was great! Fresh fruit, cheeses, pastry, bread, fresh pancakes and hot food (eggs, bacon. sausages beans mushrooms) each morning all very fresh and lots of it! After a few days it would have been nice to have something different like a special but none the less it was a great start to the day! They also arranged a birthday cake for my boyfriend to come out at breakfast! It’s the personal details like this that would make me come back to this hotel
Never used the spa facilities but did look at them and it all looked very relaxing!
Overall I really enjoyed my stay here! Very modern and friendly staff which made our stay very relaxing

This new hotel is a real gem and is ideal for those looking for something a little quiter. It's ideally placed for the beach (literally several minutes walk) and is 10 mins drive from neighbouring towns (Amercao de Pera, Albufeira, etc). I'd advise hiring a car although the Bolt/Uber app usually finds a driver in under 15 mins and is cheaper than local taxis.

The hotel has a clean contemporary feel and our superior garden view room was spacious and has all ameneties (safe, climate control, fridge, coffee machine). There is a decent sized gym and spa centre and the poolside area gets plenty of sun and has glorius inland views.

The restaurant offers a great breakfast range (sausages are superb) and a la carte menu was excellent and we enjoyed cocktails (brilliantly made by Sara). The staff were all excellent, friendly, courteous, helpful really can't thank them enough.

This hotel gets firm recommendation from me and I would be happy to stay there again. Thank you for a great stay.

This was just the quiet relaxing break we were looking for. The hotel was very clean, modern and relaxing. The pool area was great, we could always get sunbeds and a couple of afternoons during the week a dj was playing which we loved. The food truck also served tasty snacks if we didn't want to move too far from our loungers!

Our room was clean, modern and comfortable. We paid for a sea view room and it wasn't worth it unless you particularly like afternoon sun on your balcony, as there was only a glimpse of the sea in the distance and the main view was of car park and road. I would recommend pool view or garden view. Also ketle and nespresso machine in the rom might seem like a nice touch but without the pods or tea bags were completely wasted, and to get them on room service was expensive. We were also very surprised to find a hotel that advertised as a spa to not provide robes and slippers.

We ate in the restaurant for dinner twice but were glad we didnt go half board, as whilst the food was good, there wasn't much variety. Breakfast had everuthing you could possibly wish for and we really enjoyed ut.

Staff were very friendly and helpful but quite a few were new and obviously needed training, yet there were two who shone above and beyond, Maria and Jaqueline, who I would say kept everything running smoothly each day with great smiles and attitude.

We had a lovely holiday, what we were looking for, which was a relaxing time. The location was close to the beach which we really enjoyed but by the end of the week we had pretty much visited every restaurant in the area as it was quite quiet. For us this was exactly what we were looking for but others might find it too quiet, also probably not great for children as no kids club etc, but again absolutely perfect for a couple wanting to chill out around the pool!!

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. The hotel is new and modern and kept very clean.
Our room was perfect with a very comfortable bed, large wardrobes and good shower room. Housekeeping gave us fresh towels daily.
The breakfast was great with lots of variety, cooked breakfast, pastries and fruit/yoghurt and the coffee machine provided decent quality coffee.
We tended to visit the beaches but the pool area is kept clean and fairly quiet in the mornings and the snack bar sold nice cocktails and food. The hotel also provide beach towels which was so handy!
Used the gym and spa area a couple of times which is a great addition, my partner also had one of the massages which he said was very good!
The hotel is in a quiet location, away from the busy areas of Albufeira but still in walking distance of a couple of restaurants along the beachfront, particularly enjoyed eating at Bellavita (Italian) and Praia da Gale restaurant/bar for seafood. Uber is really easy to use, and would take around 10/15 mins to get into the old town for around 8 euros.
Could not fault the hotel at all, the staff are all lovely and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay!!

Just back from a week at Regency Salgados Hotel, we stayed in one of the premier rooms facing the garden with our 8 year old son, the room was absolutely spotless, had a fantastic shower and plenty of storage, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. All areas around the hotel were again spotlessly clean, the pool was well maintained and water a lovely temperature, plenty of beds at the pool. Hotel provided pool and beach towels. The food truck by the pool offers lots of food and drink options which were lovely. Every member of staff we met were very helpful and kind and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The beach is a 5 to 10 mins walk and it’s a 10 minute taxi to albuferia. It’s lovely and quiet around the hotel with a nice relaxed atmosphere. We are very well traveled and are fussy about where we stay and I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough, we will definitely be back.

We loved our 4 days at Regency Salgados. The pool and spa are great and not too busy (stayed early October). The Reception staff were all very helpful, in particular Paolo was brilliant.

The breakfast buffet is very good. We didn't eat at the Hotel Restaurant due to not having things we liked, but Bellavita down the road was very good.

The only downside was that our room was made up as a twin so we asked for it to be changed the following day but housekeeping didn't do it. Then we had to pack our stuff and change rooms to a double and hoped it might be to an upgraded room or pool view room for the inconvenience, but it wasn't.

Our flight was in the evening but the hotel looked after our luggage and allowed us to use the showers in the spa and other facilities to get sorted after a day out, which was helpful.

We used Ubers to get around, which were about €7 to €11 each way to Albufeira, Algarve Shopping, Albufeira Marine and Armacao de Pera. We highly recommend the Benagil Cave Tour and coastal cruise with Algarve Charter. Just €30 each for 3 hours, including a glass of champagne.

Visited last night just for an overnight stay, having found an absolute bargain online. Firstly it should be noted the hotel opened 4 days ago- hats off to them for ploughing ahead in these uncertain times. Hotel was modern boutique style with elegant and quirky touches and completely covid safe. We were greeted on arrival with a welcome drink and sat whilst the reception staff tended to our requirements and choices. Whilst being the guinea pigs to new processes and functions the treatment given was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was beautiful we had opted for sea view and the facilities were well thought out and accessible. When we asked about Spa treatments even though the Spa hadn’t officially opened they contacted the therapist and she came in especially to give us them. For dinner we had the half board option where a limited but well thought out menu was provided- yet again with exceptional service and an incredibly responsible wine list full of Portuguese wines.
Bed and pillows were comfy and bed linen was cool touch.
Breakfast was buffet style with cooked options ordered separately.
Out if many positive things to say about the hotel itself the crown must go to the beautifully tended gardens and pool area.
All in all if you want a 4star hotel with 5 star service this is the place to go. Well done and keep it up.

The hotel suited us very well (4 adults and 2 young children), despite the 5 to 10 minute walk to the fantastic beach. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the staff outstanding - all were very friendly and could not do more to help us and the food was all of a very high standard, whether at the poolside or in the restaurant . In my opinion, the only way the hotel could be improved would be to heat the children's pool (probably not necessary in the height of the summer), and to supply baby alarms. In summary, this was an excellent place to stay for a holiday and I would highly recommend it.

After staying at this hotel for the first time in August 2022, it was exceptional. Having just returned from a solo stay at the Regency Salgados a few days ago, (September 2023) I am sad to say it was a poor stay.

On arrival to my room 501 top floor, I immediately noticed that the condition of the room was not maintained. There were marks and scuffs all over the corridor walls as you enter, the bathroom was dirty long hairs and crumbs around the bath tub. Bathroom did not smell clean, broken toilet seat, wonky and did not feel clean. Broken shower seals in shower cubicle, mouldy areas inside the shower, no windows opened for ventilation, bathroom walls and vanity area not cleaned, the area felt dirty, and uncleaned since previous guests. Luckily I carried Dettol with me in my toiletries so was able to sanitise the bathroom to an acceptable standard, not ideal for the first day of a holiday.

The bedroom itself was no better, dust and grime on the telephone and remote control was sticky, had to be wiped down. Marks on bedroom walls again not in a clean condition. Hairs inside the bed, reported to the reservations/ reception team who sent a young lady who spoke no English to clean the room. She did a quick hoover behind the bed and left.

I understand that this hotel is now under new management, which I believe is likely the reason to these failures in hospitality.

Portugal is a beautiful country however, the accommodation was a serious let down during my trip and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just home from a fabulous 4 night stay here . Hotel is fresh and modern . Rooms are very spacious and clean . Great shower and quality of shower gel provided . Reception staff were genuinely friendly and helpful . I asked to change room as we had a wall outside the room on the second floor While it was very pretty with plants and the room was gorgeous , we value a balcony with a view . Despite the hotel being very busy due to wedding party guests we had our room changed instantly with a genuine willingness to accommodate Breakfast was excellent everything u need . Good fresh fruit selection bread meat cheese and cooked breakfast although I did not choose the cooked breakfast it looked good quality . Hotel in good location near the most beautiful beach . We booked bed and breakfast only that was a good decision as hotel restaurant and bar quiet at night and we had read some reviews that suggested this . There was various musical entertainment each night that was pleasant and not intrusive if you wanted to sit and chat . There is an Italian close by that serves very good quality food reasonably priced . There are three beach front restaurants Not a huge choice of restaurants overall but perfect for our 4 night stay . We were checking out before breakfast at 730 am and reception staff made us aware that they can provide a breakfast box . It was basic but the fruit and juice were appreciated before heading to the airport . I would not hesitate to return to this hotel . If you are looking for low key relaxed short break this hotel is perfect . One small niggle the housekeeping staff did not replenish our one per day complimentary nespresso pod , however when I asked them they provided it . A big plus was the spacious pool area always plenty of Sun loungers available and food truck provided reasonable priced drinks and snacks by the pool.
