About us

The Global Disaster Preparedness Center (GDPC) aims to prepare vulnerable communities for disasters by providing tools and services through the Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) network. The GDPC creates an ecosystem for RCRC national societies and other practitioners to co-create their own preparedness initiatives by exploring existing solutions, building the evidence base through research and shared learning, designing solutions, and mobilizing support through partnerships.
